Netflix anyone??

Installed netflix from the Market on my new Optimus 3D Rogers Unlocked and no luck... ; (
Closes by itself once you open... Anyone has it working?? How to??
Edit: Got running from a LG Revolution dump but no stream since apk was too old and video not supported on older version. Trying to get an updated apk from a LG Revulution...

I want to know as well. It works on my Streak perfectly and now with the Thrills HDMI out I would love to have Netflix on it.

Ive tryed that, no luck...
Think im just gonna have to go through the whole app and see if i can find something or see if i can get an apk updated from a Revolution...

Just saw an entry on Engadget that Netflix 1.4 supports all android 2.2 and 2.3 so I installed it from the market place. I ran the app but closes imediately. No other tweeks expect for rooting. I tried rebooting the device but still no luck running it.

Same here. Netflix just doesn't work on the thrill at all

Hm ... so I guess we just have to wait for something from LG if we don't want to root. S'ok, I've got my trust HD7.

Just got an update and now it works.

Any luck with this? I really would love Netflix on my O3D.
I've tried 2 different apk, 1.4 and a 1.4 without device check but both of them closes right after launch.
I can't find Netflix in market either.

You have yo download the 1.4.1, it's on the market.

Can't get it in market. I live in Denmark. I did however find the apk in another place. It still closes right away though.

Netflix is US only paid service. Not sure how you can get it to work in Denmark even if you get it to run on your phone.

I already got it working on my desktop. And I believe the app "set dns" would help me on the phone.

i tried to instal chainfire 3d, but when i installed the driver, gapps forced closed, and after the phone restarted i got stuck at the bootloader. I had to reinstal the room. I use jellytime r6.1

Chainfire 3D is not even stable on Ics yet,, and most Devices Running around with Jb ,Especially Cm10 have problems ,only some devices are reported to work , like ainol flame tablet ,
Chainfire also recomendend not to use chainfire 3d on Jb ,

Anyway, I wouldn't recommend Dropbox for rom hosting, the free accounts only have 20GB bandwidth and it empties out rather quickly. Try Google Drive or dev-host.

As long as you have a Gingerbread BB you should be fine as 21A and 21E are both open source builds. If you flashed 21E via KDZ you shouldn't have any issue but if you run into problems let me know.

Hey Saaqirajput,
I advise please do not install this onto your SU760 as this rom is ment for the P920 i would have to remake this into a V20F if you would like to use it or you could use XBSA's V20F ICS themed if you wanted a rom with ICS themeing ported. The link for XBSA's

Hi, it would be nice if you add some screenshots so we can see what we are flashing I think the majority wants to see some screenshots before they flash anything on they Phone or is it just me..?

Sorry i havent noticed the yt video but i still like the screenshots more because im allways on xda via Phone and i hate watchin yt videos on a phone
btw. the ROM looks really nice! ill try it ASAP the stock "design" is gettin boring

Thanks i will be doing some more edits to the interface soon. Then ill update yt video and put some screenshots up. Plus hopefully have the issues fixed on my kernel build aswell.

this rom is running pretty good. really smooth (changed to holo launcher and holo locker to get moe like ICS)
coming from liquidbeats to this i've noticed a drop in battery life... not a big issue but means i have to charge my phone a lot and my phone seems to heat up a lot more than it should....
anything i can do to try and fix this?

Are you running a custom kernel or stock from the rom? Because alot of Kernels like iblueminds focus on battery life. I do notice that sometimes mine heats up a fair bit only if im using it for a long period of time other than that its ok im still running on stock thats in my rom. I will hopefully have my kernel working correctly soon so i will be able to see how good battery and all that is with a custom kernel.

Yeah i notice that the battery is not very good with the stock boot try using iblueminds kernel that should help with the battery issue.

Installed the kernel but now i have problems with the sound. Keeps crackling whenever i do anything involving sound. Both on speaker and headphones.

Chainfire and ICS

Hi man, a lot of time wasted searching today, I want to play Eternal Legacy, but I see only green texture
find some post in other forums where many use chainfire pro with plugin, and I installed it, but nothing as changed...
I have original ICS on SU760, rooted and twrp installed.
anyone with an idea to solve this?

I have installed [ROM][15-Feb][STABLE+SMOOTH+FAST] NightlyFourE ICS 5.3.1 REMAKE . on my P500, but I have problems with the touchscreen.
About 2 minutes it's working fine, and then it's not working at all about a half a minute.
I've tried to install this kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=929941 which it said to be resolving this, but after restart it got stucked on android logo and I had to flash my phone once again.
Can you point me to an update or something to fix this bug and work with this rom??

Well you have flashed the wrong kernel. That kernel is for froyo/gingerbread. You are using ICS which shoulsld use this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2140930

I installed the kernel for ICS. I don't know what to say.. it might be a hardware problem. The problem is still there. The touchscreen is working fine and smooth for a short period of time, and then suddenly it stops working. To make it work again I have to lock and unlock the phone... I'm waiting other suggestion... maybe someone who had that problem... or anything about this problem.
