Dear developers for the Sensation, I have a special request.
Could one of you please provide a flashable zip that contains the camera drivers for the HTC Amaze 4g? However, I've read that drivers are also in the kernel image of the particular device. If so, could one of you please modify a Sensation ICS kernel (if you are allowed to) to include the camera drivers for the Amaze 4g?
If you would be able to help with this request, I'd be able to try something, if it works I'll be able to provide a great gift for all the HTC Sensation owners here on XDA
This needs to be in Q&A not in the ROM thread.

It's a request, not a question This is something that will most likely need help from a developer, most of which are here in the developer's and Roms section. That is why. I hope I didn't offend you
True but the rules state that all requests / questions go in the Q&A.
Developers do look in the thead as well and help out if they can. This thread is purely for Roms and Kenrels for users to downlaod.
If you have any questions look at the top stickied thread in this forum and it will explain the rules.

No problem. If you are not sure where to post, you can ask in the general or Q&A sections. That way if you find your thread should then be in the developemt thread you can ask a moderator to move it.
I guess that is true, but sometimes it depends on the situation If this is something that I and other members of XDA can benefit from, I wouldn't mind posting directly into this section, considering it is a direct route to the developer(s) rather than an indirect route.
I've actually managed to think of a solution! Could anyone with any experience in linux kernels (eg compiling them from source etc) contact me? I'm on to something I believe

I seriously looked around in the forums and have seen a lot of nice looking roms with an overlock kernel, however I really do like the stock rom on my phone and for some reason I am just not seeing strictly overclocking kernels. I am rooted and have my bootloader unlocked with CWM recovery installed. Can someone please post me a link of give me some names for overlocking kernels? I am on Verizon SCH-I535 version. Thank You!

You need to post all questions in the Q&A section of these forums. http://forum.xda-developers.com/announcement.php?f=256
As far as I can tell the custom kernels are all tied into the ROMs themselves. Synergy's kernel allows OC.Please read the rules or think carefully before posting. If unsure just hit up the rules or go to General. Development is the last place you should be posting.

Is there any way to Install Android on HTC HD7 or no ?
I wait Reply Soon
You already received a reply when you asked about it before.

2. Android on HD7 - It is not yet possible, but I'm sure that someone out there is working on it and will figure out how to dual boot it. So maybe sometime in the near future we may see it on the HD7.

And maybe you didn't receive a reply, apart from the above reply, because you were either posting in the wrong section, didn't read the stickied threads in your devices section or you were too pushy and expected an answer right away.
Velcro. What a rip off!
You got a reply here as well.
And you didn't get an answer here because even after being given the answer, you still decide to make a new thread about it. Most probably in an attempt to gain your postcount.

As you should already know, creating multiple threads is against forum rules. Failure to read and follow the rules can result in infractions being issued. Thanks for your cooperation. Thread closed.

Really! You've been a member since 2009 and you don't know that you shouldn't post Q&A in the development section.

Yesh because Jtaging is development and not a Question, if I was asking what jtaging was or how to to learn to do it then Q&A would be the right place to put it, but ive ben tagging since the HTC magic and think that this is more about development e.g. unbricking devices , turning S-ON S-OFF etc , i see that if you have a tagger and are using it on a phone then its Development and not a basic Question and answer or else most of whats in development should be in Q&A would you not agree ?

What did you develop and/or are releasing in this thread?
It looks like a question to me.
If you were telling people where the jtag pins were, that is development.
If you were telling people what can be done over jtag, that is development.
Asking a question is a question.
PS. Dont be off-put, we will all love you if you put some time towards something like s-off

Use Jet (Evita) to recover your phone. Read from thread page 38 to end.
Hope this help.

It is still a question and does not belong in development.
This post by 18th.abn contains a video of a teardown of the hoxl not sure if he actually points out the pads or not but that thread would most likely have the most relevant information about what you are looking for. Hope it helps.

I can't find much support for the Relay I just picked up, but for some reason I was under the impression it's the same phone as the Blaze, other than the addition of the physical keyboard. Is this the case? Somehow I doubt it is going to be that simple.......
Thanks

I reposted in the General section as indicated. Didn't know where to post because the question was technical and surrounded my desire to put Android on the phone...Should I have deleted from here?
I apologize in advance if this has been answered before, but can us Verizon users flash ROMs from the main HTC One M8 Android development threads? I will always ask in the ROM thread to be sure but is there a general rule of thumb?
Thanks
You can flash AOSP Roms becuase they are universal but anything else other than that, I just suggest reading the OP entirely... If you still don't know just ask in the thread. The worst they can do is say no(Or flame you of course).

I would add that you should read the op entirely AND then just do a search in the thread for "Verizon". That will most likely keep you from being flamed. Not because they will respect you for having searched first but because it will almost certainly keep you from needing to post the question entirely. People who flame others for not doing a search first are usually assholes about it but they're also right.
