[Q] problem after updating to 2.3.5

Hi guys !!
Im from India and I got a recent update on my desire s for android 2.3.5 and sense 3..
everything is working fine but there is just 1 problem. Im getting messages froma number "50" which keeps telling me my location.. I had lookout security installed and was also connected to htc hub.. I deleted the lookout app but imstill getting those messages..
Please some one help as I dont have any idea why im getting these messages.. I havent changed my sim or anything ..
Please help!!!

Settings > Call > and untick Cell broadcast option
should help

i just installed the ICS elegancia ROM on my Sensation, and i cant find the apn settings, if you know a solution can you please help me out?.

welcome mate. try:
menu > settings and tap the icon next to 'mobile network'
brings up a list of things you can do, including access point names

[Q] MSM Settings

Hello i need help with msm setting my problem is on my evo htc model PC36100 android version 4.1.1 im running RemICS-UX Jelly Bean v1.0 problem im having I flash it over to straight talk i can send & receive tex but i can not receive or send media do some 1 have da answers 2 my problem or post the setting or APN setting that, can be shared with me? HELP!

[Q] Why my Android 4.2.2 doesn't look like this?

So I installed TheWhisp's Android 4.2.2 on my Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 and when I get my status bar down I don't get all thos icons and options:

I get only those options:

(WITHOUT SPACES! The site doesn't let me post without spaces and I really need this to be solved up)
Also the "Download offline speech recognition" in "Voice Search" doesn't appear if you can help me with that too.

Have you checked in your system settings? I know on most of the roms for my tablet I had to enable all of the extra options for the notification panel in my system settings.

RRunnig kitkat 4.4.4
RRecently i had sms problem i cant set default app for it .. I can't. Even receive Sms

Seems you are having troubles with your APN. Try installing a different SMS app as this one Click me and see if you can change the default SMS app.
If it is not working yet you will have to go to Settings-->Data/More-->Cellular Networks--> APN(Access Point Names) and see if your APN is correct.
