I personally think I would not work being that miui gets a little funny sometimes. Try copying it to system/app and see if it works(es file manager from the market and enable root access for the app in settings and mount system as writable and the try it)

Confirmed: Netflix App Working on X10

The Netflix app has been released onto the Android Market. However, it is limited to a few devices and the X10 isn't one of them.
BUT...I downloaded the apk from the site below to test it out and voila! Working NETFLIX!
http://www.androidpolice.com/2011/0...-android-market-but-only-for-certain-devices/
Or

How to trick Netflix into thinking your device is supported (Only do this if the Netflix app says that your device is not supported, otherwise it is not necessary.) :
1. Open any Root file explorer and navigate to /system
2. Edit your build.prop file and modify the following lines:
ro.product.model=""
You may input any one of the supported devices, i.e, the HTC G2: ro.product.model=HTC Vision
Note: This does require that your device is rooted and running 2.2 Froyo or above.
3. Reboot your phone
4. Download the .apk (If you're running jerpelea's CM7 ROM, then it should be directly available from the Android Marketplace. )
Works for me! Using Wolbreak's 6.1.3 v6

Anyone elses Netflix stop working on froyo? Says new version Available then tries to link to market where it comes up not available.
Works fine on mine. It's available for download on the market, and for me anyway...

If you're running GB the link will come up directly in the market.
For those of us who are having issues. I found this link to the updated app in another thread.
http://dc341.4shared.com/download/_lpe355u/Netflix_121_build_843839-120-3.apk
Works fine on Wolf's 8.1 ROM (bb 55).
I'm almost afraid to update the app, it works great.
HS this is awesome..!!
Using market version, but says my device must be updated , WB V5, tried already the HTC Vision fix, but didn't work.
The error is displayed when trying to instant watch.

On root explorer long press on the build.prop, and a pop up menu will pop up.
choose the option open in text editor.
after you find the line and edit it press the menu key and choose save and exit.
Netflix should work on all Androids now with 2.2+. I've installed it on both Wolf's latest and the TEAM rom as well.
I just downloaded the application and it works fine ... although I can't update. Not available for my country.... in Android Market.
I'm using 2.3.3 stock rom
For me it says its not Available in my Country. Any other Canadians having this issue. It's works perfectly fine, I just have to keep finding the updated APK from other sources.

Hey thanks bud,
Would it be good to say that removing or uninstalling your said app in Titanium Backup is one of the alternate ways as well?
Is dsp manager still not system wide like on gb roms?
Handwritten by my AOKP'd up Desire HD & Note
v2 added
thanks, be useful
PowerAMP uses its audio engine which avoids any dsp managers, so it's not a bug.

If installing ANY CM (-based) ROM, NEVER!!! install SuperSU or flash SuperSU.zip or etc. it will BREAK your root. if you install CM, just go developer options --> enable ROOT acess for Apps & adb--> done forever.
Swipe is only boken on AOSP keyboard because some gappps remove the needed lib... Install google keyboard & it works again... or search xda for that lib & copy it into yr system. for future use i recommend you this gapps (for any rom 5.1+) http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/tk-gapps-t3116347 use the NANO MODULAR PACKAGE
peace.
