Just a step back option. A simple fast rom for everyday use for all working reliability. There are gingerbread options such as the Droid_GTR but there will be ICS versions as well soon. They say there is a rom for everyone (just like a car). For some, newer versions don't matter. Keeping developement and choices for the Evo alive.

Why not? It's a rom someone worked on. I mean, I'm interested, I rooted & cm7 was the rom at the time, looks like this'll bring back some Samsung moment memories. Thanks for the rom guy!

2010 called, it wants its Android version back. Seriously though, looks pretty cool. I guess it does work well, but it wouldn't hurt to go up a version. In the sensation forums where they have an official ics update, there arent any gb roms.
So if we had an official gingerbread update why go a step back?

I like your point. I will check this thread often to see what all wants. If gingerbread is asked more often or not for this build, I will get on it as another option. Thank you

CM 5 was never ported to this device- Eclair FTW!
(Only semi joking - I have been trying to update some features on an old Sense version of Eclair in the kitchen lately. Working on older, simpler platforms can be a good way to get started...)

I agree 100%. I prefer GB or Froyo aslong as you can customize.
Ok, I like the idea here....question can the red be changed from inside a setting menu? And can we maybe get a screen of the customizing of the navigation bar?
Thanks in advance. Keeping g an eye on where this goes.

Keep it froyo! Too many GB ROMs already.

For Notification bar color customization go to: settings/Cyanogenmod settings/user interface/Notification colors then scroll down to Custom Notification bar. I'll post some images later. Custom pulldown bar customization is below it.

That has to stay there, its e911, it cant go away.
Also guys, when you flash this you will lose all your user apps, I am working on fixing that, or imnuts is, what ever the problem may be.
Only thing I've noticed so far. When you press the phone icon. The "Contacts" icon is up about a quarter of an inch higher than the rest.
Flashed it right over the Beta5 build and it looks pretty good. Definitely has potential! Nice job.

I've been running this theme on Beta5 build for almost 24 hours with no issues at all. If you want to find the Beta5 build, you have to ask people for it over at RootzWiki. Imnuts doesn't want everyone knowing how to get it since it's still a Beta. However, he is supposed to be releasing the newest Infinity ROM very soon.

Sumb*tch is transparent as transparent can be. Maybe it is Photoshops problem actually... Hmm...
I've seen some things (overscroll glows come to mind) that NEED to be edited with another photo editing program (GIMP, Paint.NET). Maybe this is another of those files? Just don't know ...
P.S.: This is only going to be a temporary (hopefully) Q&A thread lol

Hey all,
I'm working on a new clock widget for Sense 1.0 ROMs and I'm having a little graphical error (see image below). When the clock "flips" there are some black lines that show up. Currently, I am using a transparent flip_clock_divider.png. Is there a better way to do this?
Here's my WIP HtcClockWidget.apk: http://db.tt/ivca2xRr - I know some of the numbers are incorrect, I left that like that intentionally (for now).

I saw this post. I'm a lil m10 illiterate though lol
I found the missing number icons (found here) and put them in Mik G's htc clock widget.
This is the apk, not an update.zip, just adb push into /system/app
Sense 4.0 Clock For Mik G 3.1 http://www.mediafire.com/?pyanf74apcsy7tf
I take no credit. Project started by swagstr, most of the icons are done by him. I just found some missing png's and ported this to sense 2.1
Just a theme.
P.S.: I figured out a fix. I made the divider white and that fixed it. Going through and making the numbers now.

Plus I would love to see the native email app actually work as Exchange Activesync for my google apps account/domain - so far I have wiped 3x and reflashed 3x but still no joy... sigh! [ROM] CoreDroidMoD v6.6 [Sense 2.1/3.0] [EyeCandy] [updated 5/31/12]

CoreDroidMoD for the Evo Shift 4GI know we have several Sense 2.1/3.0 ROMs for the Evo Shift and they are excellent (especially Supreme Sense) but I ported this (before my Shift crapped on me) because of the native theme. It has no tweaks (yet) and comes as is. I ported the ROM from this thread: here by MarylandCookie who ported the original ROM made by Sergio76. All credit ultimately goes to Sergio76 who is the main developer for the ROM. The main reason I ported this ROM is because I haven't seen a ROM so highly themed in a long time and I love blue .
Features:
RAM Optimizations
Speed Optimizations
Fast, Stable & Eye Candy
System and User Apps Zipaligned
Fully De-Odexed
Init.d Scripts Support
Fully Themed (with lots of icon animation)
Custom screen animations
Hosts file updated
Adfree app provided for Host Update
Added Task Killer tweaks
Custom Bootanimation support
CRT TV Screen on/off animations
Sense 2.1 and Sense 3.0
SDCard tune up/Speed Hack
Brightness Tweaks
Huge Code Cleanup
Automatic ZipAlign by Wes Garner
MMS options size changed and set as 300K by default
MarketFixed
and much more!!
Credits:
Sergio76 - ROM creator. His website
MarylandCookie - I ported his version
drob311 - his newSENSE kernel powers this ROM
Changelog [5/31/12]:
Fixed roaming indicator
Fixed MMS
Fixed data
Fixed USB storage
Fixed download (wasn't inverted)
Removed GPS reticle (icon)
Fixed Camera
What works:
Audio
Camera
Keyboard/lights
Phone
GPS
MMS
SMS
Data
WiFi
Bluetooth
Everything else I've tested...
What doesn't works:
4G (fully ported ROM, not Shift based - future upgrade)
??? you tell me

Actually, the status bar theme doesn't stick after reboot, it goes back to default theme. I don't know if this bug caused by theme or miui roms itself ?
You have a one s now Pele?
I've always loved this theme BTW

It happens with other themes as well...all of them, rather. In my case, at least.
I haven't been able to trouble shoot it yet, but if anyone has ideas on how to make it stick..
Nice work Pele - looks great.

hahaha, no blasting from me, we were all noobs once, and all started out like this, though some devs forget were they came from or how they got to were they are
Best advice i can give is to do some research about flashing, rooting, kernels etc, then do the same for MIUI, and how to get on it and what to look out for and pro and cons (no cons really) but you get the idea.
Ah. I've used your work since my MT4G days. Loved it.
Yeah I was using sense based and I didn't even realize he meant the drop down wasn't sticking. I'm getting the same but I know its every theme not just this one. Lol
Miui has very little cons. And they are all user specific. Lol honestly. For the most stable miui experience look for Linds sense based miui.
