Question from us AT&T guys who are just about to get the One X... Did the One X on Telus come unlocked, or did you have to buy an unlock code. If so, where did you get it from?

Telus IS NOT releasing the ONE X...they are releasing the ONE V and ONE S, you need a code i got mine at www(dot)cellunlocker(dot)net $8 and 30 min you get a unlock code

It's a start. Planning in using Nova one we have root though.

how does that live wallpaper affect performance? it always lagged on my older phones.

Wait, you got rid of the mt4g to go with an sg2? Really? Theres the HTC amaze, HTC one s thats just dropped and the sg3 that's about to drop soon but then again you went for an sg2. Well, I guess...whatever floats your boat.

You should for the One X, since you're going to at&t. A better phone, and will last longer in this dev community I think

the Sammy gs3 is pretty darn good. Too bad its made of plastic and has pentile (but I read that with its screen size and stuff, pentile is hardly noticeable). Touchwiz is far more better than the sgsII's one. It would be a waste going for the sgsII when the sgs3 is around the corner (June for America, Samsung said)

dude just get the Galaxy Nexus from Google Play! it's only $400, completely unlocked, no contract and all that bs.
i'm considering getting one... lol it's either the Galaxy Nexus or the Sensation...

Wife wants the I phone, that's the whole reason I'm switching to AT&T can't afford a 400 dollar phone anyways. Rather put 400 in the bank... Lol

Get the Galaxy Nexus. Even though its not the best spec'd phone currently out, it's still by far the best phone to get if you're a ROM flasher... And the screen with on screen soft keys is just too much awesome. Plus, dev scene is the best.

Gnex is an awesome phone so far. I think I will miss the physical hardware buttons and trackpad, but this is only day 1 using it, maybe I will get along fine without them.

Google Nexus One. Thanks to Cyanogenmod the phone always stayed up to date software wise. Even CM10, though not officially supported, is being ported by some nice fellows to my great phone. I already consider upgrading, since the displays and the raw CPU power of newer multi-core phones (other people have) makes me jealous sometimes. But in smart phone timescale, my Nexus One had a long life and served me well.

HTC EVO 4g wooow the development for that phone wass so goood and still is runing strong! the phone itself suffered from a couple set backs mainly battery life and the charger port stopped working but wow! that phone was fire i bought the s3 and i returned it 10 days later i got bored of it exchanged it for a pantech and now im trying to get pantechs on the map! i really hope the devs here let us pantech flex users get in on the action and start a forum thread

HTC One X vs X+ from AT&T - dimensions difference

Does anyone knows the dimension differences between the AT&T HTC One X and X+?...
I have been a fan of Proclip USA docks for years but they say they will not make the X+ dock and the X will not fit. Looking around I can't really find what is the dimension difference.. I think I found one reference to one site listing the AT&T X+ as 0.02" longer..
Or I guess I can go to a store in the weekend and check.

The white phone in the photo is defiantly not a one x. As far as I know there is no physical difference in the one x+ and one xl. However both the one xl and the one x+ are a little longer than the one x due to the lte antenna.

I have a one x+ and im using all my att one x cases with no problems. Even my mugen battery case works fine. I cant tell any difference in size. Cases fit identical. Docks fit identical. Pogo pins are in the exact same place or else the battery case wouldn't work. I think proclip might be mistaken with their claim.

I think only one of those phones are the one X, XL or X+. THe other two i dont know what they are...Not OneX Maybe S or VX or something but not HOX

[Q] Anyone have any idea about this special edition AT&T HTC One X?

So I have this phone now and have been using it for about a week. Not really sure what edition it is. I can't find anything on Google about it or any pictures anywhere that seem to match up. It is an AT&T model I know that. I have already rooted it and am running CleanROM on it, but it started as a normal AT&T One X.
The is dark blue with stars all over it and says USA 2012 with the beats audio logo. There is no carrier branding on the outside of the phone. Where it normally says AT&T on the front is HTC. I attached some pics.

Amazing design on that one x. I can't find that specific design so it has to be a promotional. Where did you get/buy from?

I figured it is special Olympic model. I just didn't know if anyone had heard anything about it. One of my clients is an Olympic athlete. He sent this to me to use as a development phone. He has tons of other ones apparently (android phones) and this was just hanging out unused.
The stars on it are actually printed on the shell. You can feel them raised a bit when you rub your fingers over them.

I'm not sure it's mine to sell. It was sent to our office to use, but there is always the chance they could ask for it back. As I said, it was given as a dev phone to be able to program it (or just about any android device for that matter) for Crestron control of his house.
