Im a bit confused...
I have worked with so many HTC phones, rooting those and installing CM7.
Now I have to do the same with a Samsung Galaxy S 4G of my cousin.
So right now I rooted the phone using SuperOneClickRoot v2.1.1.
Now I don't find a way to install a good ROM. I see CM7 don't support this phone. I have installed ClockWorkMod and it looks really rare in this phone, It don't have the options to backup, restore y install a zip.
So I come here asking you guys if there is a form of getting Gingerbread to this phone and How I can do it?
Thanks!
How did you install cwm

I think I installed it using Rom Manager, but It dont installed.
I just want to know how I can install a gingerbread on this Galaxy S 4G
Rom manager does not work with sgs4g. Go to dev section and find the thread cwm final by krylon360. That is how to get cwm recovery working.

Hi,
I have rooted my phone using superuser.
Now I want to install the jellybean ROM issued by Cynogen. For this, I need clockworkmod recovery.
I have searched alot but I can't find clockworkmod recovery.
Please guide me from where can I get it.
Thanks a lot

Have you tried installing GooManager and getting it through there? Otherwise, I installed a CM JB ROM just now on my Skyrocket using TWRP and that worked fine (I had been using CWM up to this point).
I did a simple search of "GT-I9000 CWM Recovery" and was linked to Cyanogenmod's wiki here.. http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_S:_Full_Update_Guide
:cyclops:
I have tried this, but it's not working. The heindal program is not reading the kernel file.

GT-I9000 CWM Recovery should have worked
tried the step on the recent post and worked for me too.....
You can download ROM Manager from the Play Store. It has an option built in to download and flash CWM.

Use Odin back to stock with root from Scott, then find a cwm
You must first install kies on your pc to get the drivers foot download mode
If you succeeded, then here is your first step to flash a
ROM.
This is a thread for a working CWM on infuse.I used the
04.30 1.2GHz version and you can install it without
going into recovery mode using SGS Kernel Flasher in
play store for free:
