How to Disable Volume Rocker Sound in CM10 - HTC Sensation

I'm using Bruce's CM10 buid and it's incredible, only thing I don't like is the beep sound that happens when you press the volume rocker buttons. When I wake the phone with them, the phone gives that annoying beep. I know in Sense based roms you can go into the media folder and delete the .ogg audio files for the volume rocker sounds. But there are no audio files in the media folder in CM10. Does anyone know where these files are, or how to disable the beep sounds?

bump I would like to turn off the sound also. Really annoying when using another app.

Double bump!
I've got the S3 but seeing as I'm running CM10 I imagine if there was a solution for this it would be the same.

Tripple bump

I'm on AOKP, so maybe because of that I don't get beep while waking up with volume Rocker.
See if you have followng option in CM -
Settings > Sound > Uncheck "Volume Adjust Sound" (Scroll down to bottom to see this option).

I'm using the same Rom and don't get any beeps with the volume rocker wake

Volume rocker?

Is it possible to make the volume rocker *only* control the media volume? I keep my phone on vibrate, so I never need to change the ringer volume, but I find myself accidentally adjusting it fairly often when I want to change the media volume. I'm running rooted stock 4.1.1, and I do not want any widget solutions. Is there anything I can do?
I thought media volume was only able to be adjusted while media is playing and through the sounds section in settings. Only time notification volume gets adjusted is when media isn't playing.

[Q] P.A.C. Man rom problem

Just flashed pacman last night and it's been working great all except switching songs on the lockscreen. Whenever I try to turn the volume up while listening to music the volume goes up one but immediately skips the song. Then when I try to turn it down it goes down one level but them starts the song over. Any suggestions?

Thanks but the problem is I want to have the feature of skipping songs using the volume buttons but it won't work when I hold down the buttons and the only way it will skip is if I just tap the up button which also makes the music louder. So there is no way of turning up or down the volume without skipping the song or starting it over and there is no way of holding down the volume buttons and skipping a song.
sounds like a potential PAC bug i would report to the thread then

I would've in the first place but I just joined and I can't post there without 10 posts before.

Is there a option to only control media volume via the volume rocker?

I like my phone on vibrate all the time, and i know on my GS4, If I press the volume rocker it will adjust the volume level of either ring or media based on what your doing.
I want to make the volume rocker adjust only the media rather than the ringer volume.
I have found this feature to be in CM10, any chance its in vanilla 4.4?

[Q] Volume control

Hey all,
I am coming from an EVO 3D which had CyanogenMod 10 with JB 4.2. When I pressed either of the volume rockers, the volume bar would pop up with the option to change all 3 volume settings, ringer/media/alarm.
On my nexus 5, I had to set up a shortcut for Sound Settings in order to change all 3 volumes. Am I missing a shortcut or easier way to adjust all 3 volumes? When I currently press the volume rocker, it only lets me change the volume for the ringer (or media if I'm playing music/games).
Thanks!
In the Settings hit Sound and then Volumes.

Try actually reading the OP before you reply next time.
I really miss this option as well. I know some custom roms on my GS3 used to have an option make that sound bar expandable or always expanded.

Actually, shaneledford understood exactly what I was asking. I was just asking to see if there was a way to enable this volume setting.
Too bad Google didn't catch on to this neat little shortcut.
This issue drives me up the wall. Anyone knows a way to quickly adjust volumes without digging through the settings I would greatly appreciated.

Help with Volume issue

No audio coming through speakers now.
Volume rocker up/dn just pegs volume to max or min, no in between. Volume does output to external speakers however.
Any fix?
Sorry, solved issue.
Seems for settings to stick need to first hit volume rocker then tap icon to mute, then go into settings and tweak media volume. Now have sound through speakers.
