Urgent need help....

Hi,
Need your help urgently......real urgent....
I had rooted my phone (samsung galaxy 3) to run live wallpaper, somehow that did not happen, i tried to root the phone again but now it is stuk on the Android System Recovery screen, giving me option to reboot the system / apply sdcard:update.zip....etc etc..
iv'e rebooted the phone multiple times...it is not starting ....please please please help me......

Reflash the nbh from the bootloader?

Question: you rooted right? did you copied an update.zip to your SD???
-->yes: try apply sd card update.zip
(when I am right the update.zip contains the new root system)
-->no : I dont know what to do
CAREFULL!! : if you do sth. in the recovery your phone maybe crashes

[Q] SE Xperia X10 Mini, 2.0.2.A.0.24 rooting alternative ?

Ive got an new SE Xperia Mini ( Absolutly new to Android, Linux user since years ).And thats my Problem...
How to root the 2.0.2.A.0.24 Firmware of my Xperia Mini ?!
1. Install rooted System ( But how, i cant install XRecovery Rooted, because the new version is ALREADY ON the phone )
2. Downgrade it.. Okay, but with Linux and Windows in VMWare i cant get the Phone get Recognized in "Flashing" mode ( It is not attatched in Flash mode ( green LED ) and starts after releasing the Button normaly )
So whats the "gentle" way to root my Xperia with this version ?
Any Standalone Root Programs in beta Status ? Or any Other Suggestion ?
Like i said, i cant Put the Phone recognized by Windows in the Flashmode.
Downgrading, other Options, what to do in my case ?

I was just going to post my first thread when I saw yours. I am just as that guy .. newbie to android (not linux) .. got X10 Mini .. upgrade to that firmware without seeing its blockage to rooting. .. So .. now what?
I have a secondary windows PC, how do I do a downgrade so I can then do: > root > xRecovery > flash pre-rooted ROM (there r some howtos)
But I dont' know how to downgrade!
Please help me as well.

You have to connect it to SE update service at least once so that windows install the drivers needed. Than connect in flash mode in flasher than it will recognize it.

I have already installed the latest update through windows, so I should already have the drivers.
1- How do I connect in flash mode?
2- Is the `flasher' a program? Where do I find it? How can i get the pre-rooted ROM?

The thread will show you what to do and how to downgrade.

So theres actually no NON WINDOWS method ?
Or an Method without "real" windows... Like from an Sd Card etc ?

Downgrading is only possible by windows. After downgrading root with z4root and install xrecovery than upgrade again with the flasher and install rooted system via xrecovery.

Ashamed ive got to admitt, ive installed Windows 7 for 20Minutes ^^
Phone is now on the Nordic Version in den Flasher Thread, hacked, iam satisfied
A newer Update i think, i dont need.
Everything works smooth and good, so thats it
With "Flasher" the job was done in 2minutes !!!
I Hope my Linux box isnt Exploding now.. after 10Years of windows abstinence ( is it an english word ?! )

[Q] Hving problems !!!!

I have an unlock Samsung infuse 4g , i have unbrick with Stock_Root-Mod3e-UCKD5_Odin and know i cant install custom rom , when i go into recovery to install custum rom like zeus or any other i cant i get in cant find update file i have downloaded the update file i have lots and lots and still cant install custom rom and stuck with this stock rom and all att stuff ... btw am on t-mobile any idea as of how i go about this .. hope some one can help ...

Looks like u still have the factory recovery folow the instruction in this thread to get the CWM an from there u can go ahead.
This thread has the best instruction to install the recovery and flash roms so just do what is in there.

thank you , and so i did ... and am know in numas rom witch is lovely , my main problem know is that cant use ap i use it to connect my acer iconia in witch i keep work things and with the infuse 4g unlock phone i cant and i really don't want to use any other phone and like i said am on t-mobile , am not sure if the case is that its an unlock phone am not sure what to do ...

ok so i got every thing done is all good but cant run the galaxy tuner on numasx rom , maybe if i chage kernel or how can i go by this volume is low i need lauder volume , in my nails salon is mutch noise so i need the galaxy tuner to run well it use to but not on numas or zeus or even catys rom

[Q] Troubles with my bro's Xperia e10i mini

Hello all !
My name is Seby, and I'm here because I consider this a serious community.
With some months ago, I changed the ROM of my Alcaltel One Touch 991, and my brother saw that I can do it, so he wanted to change the ROM of his Xperia e10i mini.
I rooted it, then he was needed to go out of country, so he got just the phone rooted.
Now, he came back, and wants to continue to change the ROM.
The phone was/is still rooted, so I started to search a good CWM for it.
After 2-3 hours of searching for solutions ( found somewhere a tutorial where unlocking bootloader was needed, but I couldn't unlock it because flashtool got error about remounting the system rw, then I kept searching another CWM ) I found a nice tutorial about How to install CWM on xperia e10i. ( this is the tutorial - this is the CWM )
I have installed it, then I wanted to test if it really work, so I spent about one hour to find the combination of keys for it. (spamming Back button while the first "Sony Ericsson" text is loading)
But sadly, it doesn't starts... I tried with ROM Manager (downloaded from pc and copied on sdcard because it doesn't appear in the Android Marker) and rebooted it in Recovery, but it was just rebooting.
I searched for the directory called CWM (or something like that) in phone's data and sdcard, but I couldn't find it.
I'm really bored of this solutions' search, so that's why I registered and posted this.
I hope you can help me, by telling me what should I install, what to do next, etc.

(looks nice, and the part with "is the most stable and feature-complete ROM for the mini for day to day use" convinced me)

Did you try Volume down to get in to CWM?
That rom you want to install is 3 years old CM6 = Froyo
Pick some other one, atleast CM7....
You need to flash the kernel first (you can use flashtool)
Kernel has CWM built-in
Enter CWM and install .zip from SD (rom)
I used these when i had my X10 mini

I followed the steps: I unlocked the bootloader, then I loaded the new kernel version... but after ithat, it exited from Flash Mode and started to turn on... but it is stuck in a boot loop now...
It cannot start the OS, it just restarts the loading animation after its own end.
I can access the CWM so I think I can fix it.
I will try to add directly the CM7 because I've read somewhere that this kernel works only with it, so I will give a try
If you have any suggestion, just tell me.

Hurray ! I've installed the ROM !
First, I couldn't install the ROM from CWM (error: can't mount /sdcard) ... then I put the SDcard in my phone and I saw that it is corupted, so I gave it a reformat, then I copied the ROM to the SD, and moved back the sdcard to the sony ericsson and I finally loaded the ROM

How to fix infinite bootloop problem in Sparkle V. Please help.

I have a sparkle v which is unrooted and also I don't have any software like cwm.
My phone is stuck in an infinite bootloop. I tried removing the battery, going to recovery mode and factory resetting it and clearing cache.
None of those worked. Please help.

My phone started becoming laggy and not very responsive after I received a 18 mb update which when I tried to install always bought an error during restart - a dead bot icon was shown.
I searched online and many people faced the same. So essentially I wasn't able to install that update and it showed in the taskbar to install the same. However one day that notification disappeared. Maybe it was a problem with low internal memory.
This infinite boot problem occurred after that.

I understand what stock rom and sp tool mean (or do), but what is this custom recovery for? Is it required to flash my rom with the stock one?
1) Also once again Can my phone get 'hard bricked' during this process?
If you would like you could have a look at the YT tutorial for a few minutes and let me know if it is safe to try that out? He doesn't mention any ADB drivers.
2) Is ADB driver universal for all phones?
3) Is there anything else to install? In the thread you linked it said install as usual for Mediatek devices. I'm assuming sparkle v is also one of them

i think you r new to flashing..
stock rom or stock os (kk or lollli or m) is the one came with or distributed by the ur phone brand ie.. here google... it helps you to get back to your phone to original state if ur software is corrupted that is laggy or force close restarting ... if u use ur stock rom it doesnt void ur warranty...
custom recovery means user defined one to install custom rom on ur mobile(user created one for ur mobile) it helps ur to backup ur mobile rom or datas etc..
dont fear while flash the mobile follow the instruction as instructed if not possiblity to get ur phone soft or hard bricked do it at ur own risk..
in ur referred video link he gave the links below the video for driver , flash tool , rom... he said about driver installation on starting the video
sparkle v also the same mediatek for more info download cpu-z app from store or google ..
download both stock kitkat and lollipop rom for ur sparkle v which is present in sparkle v cross development search there or use my above links ....slowly read the steps in the links and flash ur mobile...
