[Q] Verizon TP2 on Bell Mobility

I've read many post and can't get an exact answer. I would like to buy a Verizon Touch Pro 2 Phone and get it Unlocked and then use it on my Bell Mobility network. If I use My Bell SIM card will I get full 3G connection or Will I get block by any incompatible BAND due Bell Settings?
Thank You to help me with my question.
No. The only US carrier to share the same 3G WCDMA bands as Canada is ATT.
An unlocked VZW TP2 will only work in 2G/EDGE mode on Canada's GSM carriers.
Thank You.
Yes I finaly find the Information (more technical)
Bell use 3G HSPA 850/1900MHz so any other phone that not have these frequency in HSPA doesn't work.

[Q] How can I get Nexus S from T-Mobile to work on Rogers 3G? Is there a way?

Hello folks.
I have Nexus S from T-Mobile since its release. I tried using it on Rogers, but to find out it's only 2G. Rogers does not support 1700 MHz AWS band. I know that only Wind Mobile and Mobilicity in Canada support it.
Is there a way to get this baby working on Rogers network at 3G speeds? Or is it a total miss on this one, and I'm gonna have to sell it to US folks for cheap?
If there is a way, please explain it thoroughly. I greatly appreciate any help, or link(s) to help!
Cheers,

[Q] Nexus S no 3G on Rogers Network

I Bought my daughter a Nexus S from a friend who said it had a Rogers sim card in it, phone works fine except no 3G.
Model is GT-I99020T
Please help?

Ok please try looking at one of many of the stickies about the different models.
But just to answer your question, the i9020 T does not work on Rogers 3G. It works on T-Mobile usa and a couple of other carriers.
The model you would need is the i9020a which has the 850/1900 3G bands.
OK, thank you for your help!
If you want to use 3G, you must use this model with windmobile in canada. Check if they have network coverage in your city

which nexus s

Hello
I apologize now, i have searched but maybe im looking for the wrong answer
I have just bought a nexus s and rooted it via a great guide on here that works for all nexus s's the only problem i am having is now trying to find out what model i have as i bought it off ebay.
under the battery it says GT I9020
but with the A and T available i dunno which one i have.
I will provide more info if required but i dunno which one i have so i can flash the more up to date OTA (ie 2.3.5 + 6)
I apologize again and thank you for help in advance

Matt
Which carrier, can use 3G?
If ATT and 3G - a
ATT and no 3G - t
TMo 3G - t
TMo no 3G - a
Compare frequencies from your carrier with ATT/TMo if not in US.

ok so as i see it someone correct me if i am wrong
i have 3 g but i am in uk so
AT&T 3G = 850/1900Mhz
TMobile 3G = 1700/2100Mhz
I am on Three UK and they support 850/2100Mhz
Mock me if i am wrong but i am still confused to which model i have an A or a T
:-(
Check gsmarena.com
Att has 850-1900-2100
Tmo has 900-1700-2100
I hope this helps.
Can u take a picture of the model number in the back. Out of curiosity I wanna see how did that happen
Still both networks support 3G 2100Mhz and after checking what aerial mast is in my area with the network you guessed it its a 2100Mhz so i still have no idea on which model number i have :-(
someone give me a clue!
You have the at&t model. Even though they both have 2100mhz, Tmobile uses there 2100mhz specifically for the upload portion of HSPA+ while the 1700mhz is used specifically for the download portion, without both bands then your phone (any HSPA phone) will not register with Tmobile 3/4G network.

[Q] Is the international HTC One S version compatible with any carrier's 3g speeds?

I have both the T-Mobile and the international unlocked version. I have the latter because, in my excitement, I didn't take care to find out if it will work on T-Mobile's 3G speeds. To my dismay, it doesn't, and I have an extra phone.
I'm wondering if it will work on any other carrier's 3G/4G data speeds. Searching forums and support threads haven't gotten me any answers. Any help at all would be appreciated.
I bought mine in Britain and am using it quite happily here in Japan. T-Mobile USA has a relatively rare frequency band internationally; I think as long as you have 2100MHz and 900MHz bands, which this phone has, there should be an operator in almost every country that the phone will work on. In fact, it should work on most operators in most countries.
The phone has 850/900/2100 MHz bands for 3G; T-Mobile runs "4G" (actually 3G) on 1700/2100 aka AWS - this requires BOTH bands to be present in the phone, which is why the One S doesn't work. T-Mo USA also has 1900MHz, again not present in the One S. Can you get EDGE 2G data, which should be possible on 850MHz?
In the USA, it should work on AT&T, as they use 850MHz for 3G. Maybe you can find someone who will lend you a SIM to check it.
In Europe & Asia, it should generally work no problem.
