How to sync facebook contacts in CM7/9????

but its not working with latest build of cm9......
ICS itself no longer supports Facebook contact sync with the people app. Google made that decision, as I've seen documented on the web, probably related with privacy issues or merely competition. You can use 3rd party apps to do the same, like haxsync.

I too had the same problem but FriendCaster fixed it
download it from play store.

Supposedly this has been fixed in Jellybean 4.2 according to users this thread (not sure the official ticket for it): http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=24468
Shame the S III isn't a hacker friendly phone to install the AOSP builds right from Google.
Hi, I have just installed Andyroid and I have some problems with it:
first the emulator seems rooted and Superuser is pre installed but apps don't get root access
second how can I copy big data from my PC to the the storage of the emulated Android (through windows of course)?

Your tool did the job on my previous Andy, not sure what version was. Thank you very much.
The latest version of Andy came these days and it's much more improved. However the AndyRootKit application doesn't work with the latest version of Andy emulator. Does any of you know how to root version 0.41.1010??

Hi there. Is there any way you can tell me how to achieve this. Cause I really dont understand the link, it doesnt make any sense, nor does it really walk me thru on how to do anything. Is there any way you would be willing to out together a dummy version for me, step by step telling me what to do.

So, Idownloaded the playstore, and I downloaded Google Contacts sync, but my contacts aren't syncing. Ive signed into my account, accessed my apps, but my conacts aren't syncing. Ive downloaded the appropriate APK (5.1.X not 6.0) but my contacts still aren't syncing. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Check your sync settings to make sure it's set to sync contacts.

Contacts did not appear at all in the sync list.

This has happened before on other sites. It seems that if you leave Chrome open for a long time (several days), this seems to occur. Solution was to close chrome and re-open it and re-navigate the link. Working for me too now.
