Official Gingerbread?

I apologize if there is already a thread going on this but as you can see I am using the XDA app and that doesn't have the best search feature. I was wondering if samsung has released any official news on when the US is supposed to get Gingerbread. I had heard that they were rolling it out based on their "Regional Plan" but does anyone know what the plan actually is?

Tbh, I don't think therell be an official gingerbread update for this phone.
1. Not none as much...
2. Hardware wise not that good
3. Tmobile is slow with gingebread.
And I heard krylon is working on a CM7 so we're saved because of him!

The kf2 release was an OFFICIAL gingerbread release from samsung

Phone Reboots during any Calls [Tried SD Card Method]

Hey Guys, I have the Samsung Galaxy S 4G updated to 2.3.3. My phone will randomly during each and every call I have reboot. This is annoying as hell. I've Searched around the Forums and noticed that people have said to remove your SD Card for 24 Hours. I've done this yet the problem still is here.
Will upgrading my Modem/Baseband to something like KI3 fix my problem? Thanks.

Yeah but all I've seen is all these Custom Rooted Roms and such. I'm stupid with those CWM and Rooting and such like that. I just want the 2.3.5 Stock. I don't want help with trying to get those Custom ROM's even though I do want them.

There is no stock official release if that is what you mean but you can Odin a leaked rom. Their stock.

Edit: I see a DLL and a MD5. All I have to do is just Put them in the Correct Area and Flash? None of that Rooting or VooDoo CWM Junk and such? Just Odin and Use? Right?
Edit2: I'm looking and it seems like a ****load of people are having WiFi Problems? I don't want those...

All gingerbread leaks have had bad wifi so far.

Understood but I can't find the KJ3 Modem to Flash with Odin first.

There is the kj2 modem. I don't think there is a major difference.

What do you mean? If it's the stock rom then it's froyo. What does the firmware version say?

it's an old froyo build. came out about a few weeks after the infuse came out. kh1 is the current build.

I believe there was a firmware update yesterday because i checked on samsungs official site under support

no there wasn't. just pushing the old update over kies for phones that fail the ota...

Can someone point me for the latest stock firmware for our cappy... Is there a odin 1 click for this including the at&t bootloaders? Its been awhile since flashing roms for my cappy. Thanks in advance...

Just read, you're not a new user... Look in the development section and see what is the latest stock firmware. *Cough KK4 Cough*

In the sticky section of the android development forum there is a thread for stock firmware. The latest is KK4, as mentioned above.

Sounds good but unlikely unless someone steps up to try and port a ota rom. The real Jboxer and (forgive me) Lotherius both tried to do an exact port but it was very complicated with baseband and partition tables. If someone wanted to try that'd be awesome, maybe practice for when the O2X gets 4.0????!!!!

How'd it get complicated? Back in my Sammy Vibrant days, most people could do it pretty easily. Devs of course.

Just use CM7, or you can use the 2.3.4 ROM that lotherius made called Tsugi.

Jboxer and tsugi rom is same based lg l95g, same issues
