[MOD]Custom Sense 3.0 Unlock Rings Android 2.3.3 ONLY!!

First of all:

This is my first Tutorial and my first work.. so please bare with me, and give me some tipps..

Make sure you have Busybox installed...
!!!ONLY WORKING ON ANDROID 2.3.3!!!! Don't know why yet..!!!
also make sure that your file has to be mirrored and rotated by 180 degres for it to look correct..
Always remember to do a Backup..!!

!!! IMPORTANT !!! this doesn't work when you have a different Skin than Default, BlueSky or Burgundy!!!

Just tried with the stock kit does not work nothing happen. Maybe I did something wrong will try again tomorrow.
Edit: I guess I missed the part about mounting the system. No lock ring at all had to restore system.

Do you have a custom ROM installed or the Stock one?? Had the same, when I tried to flash a ring from a Stock ROM ring..

I uploaded one, which is customized to your ROM... as it seems, it doesn't work with a every Stock ROM, because the files are named differently on every System.. I'd be happy if you could tell me if this package worked for you.. Thanks

First of all, Thank you very much for Testing!! I created a zip, for you, which should! work.. So if it doesn't work, I'm not shure if it's possible to flash it to a stock ROM.. I'll ask jmaher1023

Hi is there a way to port this to our sensation? I have coreDroid v1.3 and really want the panthers lock ring but when I flash it doesnt install.

As multiupload has some problems :S, I uploaded it to my own Server.. So please don't kill it

i have been trying and trying to get this to work...ever sense i got s off

Works great but remember its still in beta.... Also don't add customized lockscreens... Tried 2 diffrent ones from cloud storage and it didnt unlock on many of the diffrent themes.. which will lock you out of your own phone... Had to reflash to get back in.. just use caution.. and don't forget to backup your current rom

Its actually it Alpha stages meaning I wouldn't use this as the main OS but rather, just to mess around with.

ok just using it right now. camera cant take pics. it just shows white on the camera. messages app works but when press new message it fc. theme downloading works. data, wifi, settings things up, gmail, gallery, fil explorer, calling, calendar, and everything else works. its just messages and camera so far not working. and needs to be a little bit smoother. going to run fix permissions and see if it changes anything.

It works, ish. It's fast but a few bugs. Sound quality is terrible when playing music and you can't send messages without a 3rd party app.

1) not on Sense, so can't check, but go to calendar settings, and there is am option to change the first day of the week.
2)reboot the phone or try changing sim card

I installed the rom and its quite nice - but there are two main problems, which i can't manage to solve on my own. ..
1. After disabling the spelling correction, it should be off - but in some apps, like trillian, its still activated. Didn't have that problem on 2.3
2. Same for vibrate feedback. Turned it off - but it's still on while typing in my apps.
Thats annoying while chatting ~_~

I have a question regarding the update. I have a stock Desire S that is network locked on Orange. Do it need to unlock before the update, or should I proceed as normal?

Turn off your phone, battery out, then put it back in, press the volume down button while pressing the power button at the same time, it will say on there somewhere s-on or s-off

see the thing is i tried downloading the rom and it said file not found..... i also tried on google and found an earlier version but it also wouldnt download..... im one of the few that try things b4 saying they dnt work and search for things b4 saying they aint there

I've got it dude - I'll upload to my dropbox and post when it's done.

I also posted a thread in the apps section that has a flashable zip that works perfectly. I could never get the apk to install correctly for some reason. Just a FYI to anyone who may have the same issue.

I couldn't get it to play nice, but I figured it had something to do with the ROM I'm on. I've never had issues running sense and aosp cameras side by side before.

Holy cow this was the answer to my prayers. Thank you so much! I will definitely head over and give somebody some thanks as well as the OP this thread. In fact I was having a lot of trouble with the camera app that was built into CyanogenMod 10, this fixed it.
