Hey guys, (PLEASE NOTE, ICE CREAM SANWICHE BUILDS ONLY, ANY ICE CREAM SANDWICHE ROM IS COMPATIBLE)

I tried this on my friends htc desire and it worked like a charm so i am just wondering if it will work here aswell!
PLEASE TELL ME IF THIS WORKS OR NOT
This Mod will also not interfere with any other mods you may have installed and will not remove anything or change anything, just adds extra frameworks and ofcourse an app!

haha yes i am working on it, it is because it usually opens other apps only for SGS3 i am currently in the process in porting them!
I am happy that I could get this. It would have been netter if there is a full dedicated ROM for this
This just made sense 4 lite that much better. I didn't want sense for the widgets, I wanted it for it's fully working camera. Now I have a ROM tailored to how I would like it! Thanks OP
Thanks it works perfect,
But honestly, it sucks.. whats so great about this launcher besides the fact that its brand Galaxy S3?
I use Nova launcher, super functionality, better than samsungs and better than sense 4. and still of course I have any htc apps (camera, clock, weather and so..)
Perhaps the thing I would wish for from the S3 is the lockscreen

haha i just like it for its speed and how it does not use much resources, it prolonged my HTC one X battery life quite a bit, well not really (2 hours or so)

Thanks The idea is more about minimalism and speed, not competing with Sense. Still have alot of work to do.
As for screenshots I will try post some later today
Any chance of running this on the droid?

it seems there is a bit of demand for screens support for other androids that are not based on cupcake. i know the tattoo has slight issues, as well as the obvious nexus one etc. will look at this next, along with landscape support
Can you plz add folders in launcher for app grouping
I really like this launcher.. I have jit enabled on my phone, so I cant use htc sense and I actually deleted it off my phone. I am currently using helix launcher, and it works well. But I like this one alot, is there any way you can get it to support live wallpapers?
Op...
FYI, I just linked to this thread in the CDMA Hero forum. Definitely liking this.
LOVING THIS!! Thank you!
This is exactly what I was planning on making after my exams finished!
A couple other things maybe for future releases (if you choose to):
-Buttons on launcher have a selection color when being pressed (like Espresso)
-More options for left/right buttons (such as changing it to messaging/e-mail/browser), just like basic apps obviously it would look odd if it was a random app's icon.
-Option to have only 2 screens
-5-column app drawer for portrait, and up to 7-columns for landscape view (if you were to include that in the future)
Again, I love it the way it is, just my 2 cents of a few more features that I personally think would make it perfect...
Thanks again!
Regards
Really hot launcher
please include the quick uninstall option and the hiding apps option
Looks very good I like to try
perfect
wow, that looks fantastic, its pretty much exactly what i was looking for
this launcher is perfect great job
Really great
I just try Zeam on my lovely Desire. There's some glitch cause it's wvga, but anyway, it was a great pleasure to use it. I will follow this thread cause i think you have started something great ;-)
Doesn't work on Motorola Milestone
The menu it's ok, but the homescreen doesn't render properly.
No widget sense
dont work on nexus one probleme with display
The screen shots look awesome, would love to have this on my Nexus One.
Thx
So its confirmed not to be working on the Nexus One?
So I've been seein the EVO 3D, and I really like its new sense ui. You can change the lockscreen with weather and when you slide through the screens there is a new carasel look and more. I am just wondering two things. 1. Is there any way to get that Sense ported over to our Inspire's? 2. If we can't, do you think that the Inspire will ever get that update?

This update is in fact coming to devices with Sense. It's going to the HTC Evo-3D first though. It's kind of to showcase it. Hit Google. There are articles everywhere for it.

I actually prefer it to vanilla Android. I ran cm for a day and flashed design gears Rom back over it. I have great battery life so far, so it really doesn't bother me. I feel almost "privileged" to have it since I own an HTC device.
You really can't beat the dialer, messaging app and keyboard. I know there are skins to out on other keyboards but I can't get the same performance as I can the built in HTC keyboard.
Plus I'm a huge sucker for the clock....

I love sense as well, but mainly I was refering to it hogging ram and cpu. I am sure there are ways they can optimize it better.
After seeing your screen shot in the other thread I'm flashing a gb Rom back. Killer battery life governs.

I use Flikie HD Wallpapers, it's a very nice program for HD backgrounds and almost all background have the function to scroll to the left or right.
Now i know this is not possible in Sense 3.0 because the sliding never stops. So every background with that slide function don't know when to stop the picture so it just shows the middle.
Is it possible to change this, with example the Fre3vo temp-root ? Or do we need to wait at a ROM builder or Fre3dom ?
Thx!

Nobody knows anything about it ?
Nope, you can't do that. Only possible with another launcher.
The Sensation has an HTC Live Wallpaper called "Streak" that has somekind of infinite movement (rotation) when going from screen to screen. I geuss someone should find a way to make something similar!
Try a different launcher. I am using GoLauncher Ex and it works quite well. I think it looks better than the Sense launcher as well.

Will the phone become slower when you use GoLauncher, i want to use it only i think it is a bit double, the heavy Sense 3.0 and the GoLauncher. I am definitily waiting for the perm root so that our great cookers can make a stripped ROM without Sense 3.0 I think were almost there!

Nope, the phone is more responsive when using another launcher. Try it
Swyped from my HTC Sensation
Definitely try any other launcher. You won't be disappointed at all. I personally flip around between Launcher PRO Plus, Go Launcher, and Launcher7.
For the time being at least, anything other than Sense that you use will allow your Sen4G to pep up quite a bit. But who knows what'll happen when we get a new FOTA to fix some of our standing issues.
re: wallpaper
- Just wondering why would you like the wallpaper to move like in the sense 2.1?

Go launcher kills sense. Using it right now its above and beyond speed wise and the go widgets are fantastic.

I think we misunderstood (maybe just me?) your original statement that any other launcher "kills sense" in that, at least for me, I thought you meant any other launcher would bring Sense to its knees......meaning Sense was speedier than all the other launchers.
Turns out you were saying what we were albeit from a completely different direction.
Or maybe I'm misunderstanding yet again.....it has in fact been a long day for me.
Never used Rosie, don't even know where to find it..
I bought launcher pro about a year ago, and finally after getting my phone up and running again, I put it back on..
I'm running Synergy now... any reason I should run Rosie over Launcher Pro?
Rosie is the stock sense launcher, so the benefit is the ability to run sense widgets.
Thanks.. I think Launcher Pro is better for the many options..
Gonna stick with that.. thanks again!

Almost anything that LP can do, a themer can make Rosie do. Just to let you know. One impossible thing is the 5-app dock, except for the latest sense Rosie from the flyer.
However, the on-the-fly options that LP offers is very nice.
I prefer the other launchers' docks but love the sense widgets.....sense it is.
Love the smoothness of sense but hate the clutter of icons. Was using go launcher for a while but now back to sense. What is this newest rosie with docks "Tommytomatoe" is talking about?
I use Launcher Pro and Folder Organizer. Sure, I don't have as many widgets as with Sense (Rosie). The few I wanted, I could find in the market.
I like being able to create folders, and scrollable widgets. I can all more rows and columns, adjust the size of widgets, and have up to seven home screens. Although I don't use it, you can have up to three or five docks.
Here is a video capture of LP and FO running on Cyanogenmod 7

I believe Tommy was saying the one thing LP can do that he can't make Sense do, is have 5 buttons on the dock. However, the Sense that is on the Flyer/Express tablet DOES have 5 buttons. (And I sure wish to god someone would make THAT Rosie flashable )

Does anyone know if it is possible to have an HTC launcher on a Samsung device?
Google gives me nothing and I really miss the Sense 3.0 launcher.
I already have those far from perfect skins and themes, but I want the real thing.
I want the carousel effect, the 3D effect, and the floaty lockscreen widgets.
I imagine that it can't really be all that hard, can it.
Can't it just be installed like all the custom launchers?
Or it could be extracted from a HTC ROM and placed in a Galaxy rom instead the Touchwiz launcher.
Anyway, I hope someone can inform me about all this.
I would like to know about this as well.

1. The launcher relies on the HTC Sense framework which refers me to point #2:
2. The HTC Sense framework is proprietary and closed-source .
So it is not possiele to just grab a random HTC sense 3.0/3.5 custom Rom and make it compatible with different hardware?
And if so, how are those custom Roms made in the first place?
If i find the time, i'm gonna experiment with this.

It's not possible even with same hardware , you may even get sued by HTC
Herpderp Adreno + Tegra.
Before this phone I had a HTC hd2 and it ran Sense 3.0, doesn't that prove enough?
I don't think we're on the same page.

Wasn't HD2 capable to run both android and wm?
There's a video on YT that presents Incredible S - stock running on Galaxy S.
Oh well , you can do that.....but you cannot make it public.....might get a C&D letter from HTC
Herpderp Adreno + Tegra.
Thanks, i'll keep it to myself then.
I'll post the portable results here.
