Where does the S-nore export function export to? When i export a note it says export complete, but i have no idea where it goes.

it exports it to your internal storage. i think its the s note folder so go to file browser and it should be there
It places the file in the internal sdcard im a folder called S Note Export.
+1

Thanks.
export removed?
There is no longer an export option in snote. Am I missing something? On galaxy note 10.1. Running SNote version 5r17214fv03. Also a second version, I believe to be widget ending in version 5fv03.

I did this on ICS stock 4.0.3 :
Open your contact list
Press menu
Choose Export to storage
A file "example.vcf" will be on the root of your SD card
E mail it to yourself
I couldn't help but noticed the sudden interest in s memo, so i searched around and found this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1662255
My question, thigh, is how do i install it from here? Do i have to put the odex file somewhere? Or just put it in system app

Sorry, Mierkat. There's no S-Memo there.
If you're asking about the "stock" Samsung Memo app, it won't run on non-Samsung ICS ROMs since it requires TouchWiz
E/PackageManager(249): Package com.sec.android.app.memo requires unavailable shared library touchwiz; failing!
If you want to export your data so you can use a different memo app, I just uploaded Extract contents of Samsung Memo App's Database to CSV File that may help you. You do not need a running version of Memo to use this, just a backup of the database.

If you download the app pack, unzip it and scroll down, you can find smemo.apk and smemo.odex

So does anybody know how to install it?

Not I. I wish I did.
Look in themes for the s3 add on
Sent from my SGH-T959V using xda app-developers app
That gives you a special touchwiz memo app, not the same memo app that comes on the s3, called s-memo
So nobody has any idea?

Here is the s3 add on and in a apk with in this zip but you might have to flash the whole zip for it to work http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1730890

Does anyone know how I can copy all my contacts from SGR (running Vanilla 4.2.1 if that helps) to Symbian running on Nokia E63?
I've tried many methods (listed below) but no result
1) "export to SD card" as a .vcf file, transfer this file to my Nokia and "import" --> FAIL
2) In Kies, open the above .vcf file, save as another .vcf file and repeat 2nd half of step-1 --> FAIL
3) In Kies, open the .vcf file in #1, save as a .csv file and try to "import" this .csv into Nokia --> FAIL

Buddy nokia saves all contacs one by one. But in android it saves in 1 file. Try to save contacts one by one. Or download any application for the same.

Same i have done from Nokia E63 to My 1st Android.
Every time I go into gallery I have to delete a ton of folders of cached images..
How can I stop these from saving? Or is there anything that can be done about this??

Cached where?

Well I've deleted all the folders, there were a lot.. Guess I need to wait for some more to show up and see where they're stored..

Put a .nomedia blank file in those folders.

Use ES file explorer or whatever you like and simply create an empty text file called .nomedia
Copy it to all of the folders you don't want to see in the gallery and reboot.
Those folders will not be scanned and will not show up in gallery.

This method does work, as now all my folders are absent from the gallery. ..
I created the file from the internal memory folder and once the file was created, it disappeared.. Or I can't find it at least..
Where is the actual file? I need to delete it and create it in each of the folders I actually want to hide..
Edit: I found the file by showing hidden files and deleted it..

I was wondering if anyone has this issue. I have a AT&T Galaxy Note II. On my extSdCard I deleted a bunch of files that I no longer needed. But when I reboot the it displays a message, "Preparing SD Card", and the files I deleted are still there. Any suggestions?
Some files and folders are used by android itself and they are again generated if they are not present
