Hey people, I work at Best Buy and i decided to buy a Galaxy tab 7.0 plus demo unit (cuz they ran out of retail versions). The only problem I've had was when i tried to sign into my gmail account, it said it wouldnt connect to the server. Any fixes on this? Im using the Wifi model 16gb
Do you have 2-step verification enabled for your gmail account? Navigation is working OK with browser?

Yup. I tried factory resetting everything and all the little glitches i noticed earlier are gone Everything is good
If that yup is that you have 2-step enabled, you have to create a new specific application password for the phone in your google account security page.

Hello, my aunt bought a Breakout and she needs the calendar app. She said it doesn't work so she took it back to vzw. They couldn't fix it. So I tried to walk her through steps to load a new one but it still says "you have no calenders'. Google sync is set to sync calendar but still nothing. So any help is welcome even if its not specific to this phone. Thanks

Have you tried clearing the calendar app's data in the application manager?
The problem has been fixed. She said she saw a google sync notification then it started working. ^^^^ thanks for the suggestion

Has any one had problems with the amazon ap store sense the latest update? I can no longer use amazon. Can not install any updates or reinstall the amazon ap store ap after following all of amazons instructions. Im stock TB so its not a root issue. I know its not an amazon issue as my wifi moto zoom 4.0 has no problems with installing any of amazon aps or updates. Just wondering. Seems like last update blocked amazon installs.

Do you have too many devices linked to the account? Every time you flash a ROM and reinstall Amazon App Store, it creates a new device. It's under "Your Account" then "Digital Content" then "Your Apps and Devices" Might have to delete some of those old ones.

Thanks for the info tried it and still nothing works. Can download the ap but it wont install. Never had this problem before the last verizon update and all works well on wifi only zoom 4.0 so I am leaning to a glitch in that update. Cant use the games I downloaded from Amazon now with out the ap installed. Bummer.

Have had alot of probs. Lately since before the last VZW OTA.. can't access any updates, just spins & says in que... Thank goodness I did not add anything important from their app store... No probs. w. Play all is ok...

Just got my Note today. Whenever I am using the browser I keep getting a message saying something along the lines of Unfortunately Google.com.android gapps has stopped working.
This is a brand new Note running stick firmware.

Try a factory reset. If that doesn't work, I'd exchange it. Why screw with something brand new?
Yea, what the guy above me said. I've had my note for a month and never once seen what you describe. Definitely exchange if factory reset doesn't sort it out
I agree with the two previous posters. Ive had the note since August as well and I having had any issues.

Did a Google search which maybe I should have done first . It seems to have been caused by syncing Internet on my Google account. Unticked the option, cleared data and all is well .

fingers crossed . Since stopping Sync Internet,and clearing data I have not had one FC.

I believe he meant account syncing, so if you have an app that needs data from your account, it can access it within an interval (certain time) e.g. Google Mail, when you get an email it'll give you a notification telling you that you have one.
Is anyone else getting this error when trying to update/install apps? it looks like other devices are having it too.
Edit: Working now, that was odd.

I was earlier but it does seem to be fixed. I did notice that the play store updated on my phone today about that same time. Probably had something to do with that I assume.

Just tried it. Works for me.
If you can't get the play store to work go on line and log onto your googleplay account. Update all your apps that need to be updated and it should work.

Yup, this is what fixed it when it did this error to me
I got NEWMAN N1 , some application were fine to install with Market some others (like Instagam) )I got error (RPC:..)
Finally I solved it by install via Chrom browser.
I don't want to re install account, why to do it ? , gmail is fine... all is fine...
Why google can't fix this LAME error
Hi, I received a kind of weird question from my parents the other day.
My mother used her iPad to search for something on Google (in Safari).
Later my father, using his phone (Galaxy S2), launched Google Search, and noticed her search came up in his own log.
They're quite confused, as am I.
The only thing I can think of is Google logging the IP-address, both using the same wireless network, and Google doing its usual search-sync to my father's device. (I after all have all my queries in Chromium show up on my device, but that is account linked and explicitly allowed)
Anyone able to shed some light on this?

They are logged in with the same account.
If you don't want this to happen then setup your search settings for the account in use to not record any history.
or you can simply not login to google on the ipad and just use google without an account.
They are using two completely different accounts, I thought that was obvious.
