Ice_ds language and recommended radio - HTC Desire S

Can someone please tell me if de latest ice ds rom has Dutch? Because it says wwe but I can't seem to find if there is Dutch included. And also what is the latest radio you can flash that rom on? Because I can't find the recommended radio...

I'll Check that for you, but even if it doesn't - you can always
download MoreLocale from the market.
EDIT:
I Checked - yes it includes Dutch

Thanks, did you use the recommended radio to flash ice ds? And when I doe all this (downgrading, changing radio and stuff) will it be possible to revert everything back to stock for warranty reasons?
Sent from my HTC Desire S using xda premium

I have the ice ds rom installed and im using the radio that came with the sense 3.0 update. Its not the recommended radio but it works well and i dont have any troubles. I think the radio recommended is 20.72... but i have 20.48...

kernel version 2.6.32.21-g3c08447
build no 1.32.405.6 CL278359 release-keys

After this,I'm unable to connect through WIFI ..and HTC Sense is missing and when I try to connect to 'Market',it's not working----
Essentially ,no way to connect to Internet......But signal strength is showing 'full' and WIFI Status also says 'connected'...
Can you please suggest how to correct this?

Download the rumrunner rom. Put it on the root of your sd card. Boot into recovery. Wipe everything and click install from zip and find the file and install it then reboot your system
Sent from my HTC Desire HD using XDA Premium App
All you need to do is flash a rom. Instructions for how to do this can be found in the development section. Make sure you follow the instructions for the rom your using carefully as some require a different radio than the stock and other things as well.

Rumrunner is a nice build. You can check out other roms and flash to a different one anytime you want. You can also go to the latest stock while remaining rooted. There are roms with or without Sense and some that have Sense 3.0.

Thanks,I may need to try another ROM it seems,as I face 'Blue tooth connectivity problem/ Poor reception Signal now.. ...Are there any known 'Bluetooth Issues' /'Signal strength issue' with this ROM/Radio??..I'm unable to pair my Bluetooth with the Inspire..The same Bluetooth works well with my 'Old Nokia set'!--
The Inspire has some Bluetooth issues out of the box, so I doubt it is the rom. There are some known connectivity problems. I have seen where others have posted of an app in the market that helps. I don't use it, so maybe someone else will chime in. As far as the signal, you may need to flash the recommended radio for the rom.

Strangely,..my HTC pairs properly with my Laptop !
The Bluetooth device too pairs with another Nokio Mobile...But the Blutooth device is not even Detected by HTC Inspire
So,only the ' pairing' between HTC nad Bluetooth doesn't work
Does this input give any input to solve this issue?
Any thoughts on thsi?
You haven't stated what Bluetooth device you are connecting to it
Sent from my HTC Inspire 4G
Some bluetooth headsets like my blueant have a limited number of pairings before you have to reset the headset. If I have reached that limit I get the same situation your talking about try looking in the bluetooth manual and see if you can reset pairing memory.

Well for leedroid it's stated as recommended.
As it seems it's the stock radio for 2.3.4, so it's simply the one that would have been installed when flashing the stock 2.3.4?

Normally the rom itself dosent include the required radio therefore u need to flash the radio urself...
For 2.3.4, its best to flash the stock radio compatiable for it...its the radio version in my sig anyway...

[Q] Low or no signal on ARHD

hi!
im using ARHD 3.6.13 with the recommended radio.
i moved to a new house and now i get very low signal or no signal.
i thought it my cel company problem, but when i have friends or family come over and they use the same company they got full reception.
any ideas what i can do to fix this issue? change kernel? radio?
any help will be great
thank you!
any help here?
sorry for bumping but i really can use some help here
It is most probably a radio issue. What radio version are you using? And did you check if the corresponding RIL are flashed correctly?
What about wifi reception? Is it causing you trouble too?
Sent from my HTC Desire HD A9191 using xda premium
wifi working great
im using the recommended radio which is suggested in the arhd topic.
is there something i can do to try and make this better?
The recommended radio is not always suitable for everyone. It depends on many factors like geographic location, network provider... I would suggest that you flash the radio that you were using before arhd and give it a try.

You must determine the radio that went with your old ROM (I assume stock). So look on the stock ROM index sticky in the development forum for your phone. Find out with stock RUU you would have (likely region/carrier related), and flash the radio that is meant for it.

i didnt check the ril as all i did was flashing mikes rom..
does anyone know how to help me get better signal?
I am looking into the roms available to determine which radio you were on. Can you please tell me which rom u were running before flashin ARHD ?
Also please install the RILInfos_1.1.apk attached below and run it and post ur current radio and RIL version respectively.

[Q] Return to Stock (what is stock, anyways?) - how? Link?

I bought my Sensation used, with a ROM on it.
I want to return to stock stock stock. To the condition it was B4. (Of course, I still want ROOT and S-OFF, but I am assuming these won't be disabled).
I am T-Mobile USA
I did search. No avail. Please link?
Sorry!
Thanks
Stock is how you get the phone when you buy it, so without root, with s-on and a stock htc rom.
I don't really know if it is what you mean, but I guess you just want the stock htc rom? Then you have to download the RUU of your provider, which you can find here: [ROM]Shipped Pyramid ROM Collection
Good luck!

Actually, the Tecardo radio collection has 1.13 in it now. I think version 5.1, whatever the latest one was.
Oh i see it now. hmm his thread is confusing does 5.1 have the latest or does 5? it says 5.1 has 1.11 and 5 has 1.13. that doesnt make sense

What's confusing in the thread or change log? Take a look at the changelog, 1.13 was added in version 5, and 1.11t was added in version 5.1, (as it was accidentally removed in version 5), I guess you don't find something like, "removed 1.13 radio", or "replaced 1.13 radio by 1.11t radio", in the changelog of 5.1, so, what's confusing?
BTW, you can still take a look at "Included radios", there you can find 1.13, too
