so im able to connect my ps3 controller to the tf700t dock and get some feedback. i can move from screen to screen, go to home page, select items but how do i configure the controller so that i can optimize it for games.

Get the Sixaxis app from the Play Store - it will allow you to use it wirelessly as well as configure it to your liking....

I'm trying to launch Splashtop Remote desktop, but there is no icon for it in my app drawer. I can see it in the list of installed apps, and I was able to Force stop it, but I can't figure out how to launch the program.

Is there a way to do this via launcher, app, etc? If the goddamn thing pops up one more time because I miss spacebar while typing, and wifi/Bluetooth/screen brightness settings get toggled, I am going to launch this tablet through a window. I don't always want/have keyboard with me.

Try a different virtual keyboard yet? SwiftKey is nice.

PS3 Dual Shock Controller. If you have the dock then pairing the controller is as simple as plugging it in via USB and pressing the PS button. You can then remove the USB cable and game away.
