SOLVED........ Found out from elsewhere that this issue is due to the app "Addon #1" which is an app protector add on for Hide It Pro / Audio Manager. I deleted it & the issue resolved itself. Glad to see it gone!!
------------------------------------
THE ISSUE....... I just restarted my phone because it was acting slow. When it booted up a yellow pad lock icon appeared in the notification bar at the top. When pulling it down it says "Locker Enabled" and under it "Your phone is protected". I've never seen this before & it won't let me clear it.
I just re-installed Lookout Security and scanned my phone with it. It says Everything is OK though.
Anyone seen this before?
....or have any advice on what to do about it?

A red border appears at the edges of my Samsung nexus s screen running ice scream sandwich when I do some operations like use Google search or compose an email or make selections could this be malware? I have run avast and lookout and the both return positive results but still am not satisfied by that because my phone did not do this a week ago. Any body know what this is and how to fix this?

Settings --> Apps --> Running --> List me everything that is there. Also, click on cached apps (or the memory bar) and list everything that is there too. Feel free to attempt closing some of these and see if it goes away.
Isn't that a setting in developer options?

Hey guys, I'm wondering if any of you have come across this weird little issue. I've had the Tab 2 3113 for two days now and I'm on CM10.1 latest nightly. So whenever I download something like a nightly or an app outside of the app store, etc. And I clear the downloads, when I reboot the arrow in the top left of the notification area is always back showing me the last download. I clear it, reboot, and its back again like groundhog day. I have a skyrocket and a touchpad and I've never had this issue. I've done all the regular steps like wiping cache and fixing permissions and whatnot. Any other ideas?
Thanks
Open Download manager in applications and clear data. That will clear that stuck arrow in notification.

Hi, I've got a problem with floating window in Paranoid Android beta 6. I can't run Chrome in full screen mode. I've already tried to reboot system, clear cache and reinstalling. I've got this prior only with Google Chrome. Do you have any solution to slove the problem?

Different device (mako), different rom (Carbon), but the same problem. Any fix?

Ok, there is temporary solution, you have to run Chrome in window mode then run any other application and click to recent apps and choose Chrome. After that Chrome is working in full screen. Thread can be closed.
A new icon has started popping up in the status bar on my SGS 6 (UK) since the recent update:

}
It only appears when I open Chrome, Flipboard or Facebook and is persistant for some time after the apps are closed (even if I kill the processes).
Can anyone shed some light on this please?

Click to collapse
Yeap, WiFi calling.
I should have clarified that it happens when I am not on wifi as well. I also can't figure why it would be active in an app like Flipboard that is not in anyway a communication app.
Gonna clear and hard reset my device in case as this seems to me a little suspicious.
There is an option to turn it on or off in the notification center.
I dont have that option on my notification but it is the right icon so at least I know what it is.
Thanks for the advice guys í ½í¸€
