I wonder how fast after release I can get CM7 on g2x cause I love Cyanogen

CM_arcee (http://twitter.com/#!/cm_arcee) has already started on CM7 for the Optimus 2X (similar to the G2X) a couple of weeks ago.

Yeah. I like the work of a lot of devs but when Cyanogen was on AGTN and said he was getting it, that sealed the deal for me.

I am interested in the secret kickstand as well...
If it doesn't work as one, I wonder how difficult it would be to buy the casing from another phone that DOES do the kickstand thing and modify it...

Guys, there is no secret kickstand. It's just a case for the phone that has a built in kickstand. Sorry.

Daydeal.com has a cheaper one with a front protective cover. In their search box type in bodyglove g2x.

He has the device and says it is awesome. He also told @tmobile they did an excellent job making it.

And @TMobile replied:

Very smart move by T-Mobile if you ask me. They give him a free G-Slate and he "has" to support it, and bam it creates more sales paying for itself.

Unpleasant 'sensation' when swiping 'notifications'...?

I may be alone, but my thumb gets a quite unpleasant 'sensation' when I swipe 'notifications' at the top of the device, it catches on the glass below the speaker grill. It's so annoying I may have to take it back...anyone else notice this?
Hoping I posted in the right spot...

I haven't had a similar issue.

It's where the glass meets the speaker grill, even my son noticed it, maybe it's not placed correctly, I'll have to try another to verify..

its yours', believe me. i've had 5 sensations so far and not one had that issue. exchange it.

I think you're putting your thumb up too high on the screen...

I feel a coarse area there, no reason to swipe that high though.. Not even registered on the screen.

You might be right, I'm so used to HD2 and iPhones, G2x, all swipe from the extreme edge...hmn maybe my habit..I'm reluctant to exchange it as it runs so well... I may have to compare at a local store...Hoping it's just one poorly placed screen...sigh, I love this phone...but can't live with the current swipe...

Maybe you should buy a bigger cell phone......

exactly, it's the way the phone was built, so I don't think a replacement is gonna help.

Kinda noticed it, but it's when you try to tap the "htc" logo on top. Just tap on the notification bar instead. problem solved

Yeah, I'm going to have to change my hd2/iphone/g2x habit....I did go to the store to check out another sense and the T mobile girl agreed, it is a smidge elevated and coming from totally flat fluid screens would make a difference..will re educate my thumb...loving the phone...maybe I ask too much?

Yeah, its called fraud and he has denegrated samsungs name with a deceptive claim. You don't have any idea how much business they have lost because of this claim. They should bill him to discourage other morons from dlpulling similar stunts.

We have just been using a seidio case with kickstand, but had thought about something like your's though. Shame it isn't an old xbox controller that had the slots on top, would make for easy expansion.
Going to work something up though when I go see my brother in law.

I was thinking about a kick stand sorta deal but that wasn't going to do it for me. Found some new pieces and came up with this. Its 100x better allows me to fully use my controller and doesn't require as much stuff constraining my controller.
Anyone else?

Games, its an easy way to play. Others sometimes use kickstands or just lay it down.
I had a cord come in today that
was HDMI for certain phones.. but apparently mine only uses composite so I did sorta get jipped. Was planning using the TV if it worked.

Oh yes it does...
On a serious note, make sure to blow into the microphone.
If you have a headset or bluetooth earbuds in, then that's where your microphone will be. If not it's the grill on the bottom

It works for me on my hd2, just blow into the mic area where you speak into. It reacts to the blowing noise.
Silly game, but a bit of fun. It is probably earning a lot for the dev from advertising.
A pity my hd2 doesn't have more than 2 touches, can't stem the bloodflow over that number.
