Anyone live in NJ, want to trade for Atrix?

Thinking about trying the inspire again, and I'm past my 30 days with the atrix. Its a fine phone with a huge battery and nice screen. Anyone want to give one a try let me know. I have an incipio feather case ill trade with it. Both case and phone are in mint condition. Inspire must also be in mint condition.

I guess. Shouldn't be a problem, both devices are on some sort of smartphone data plan... it's not like one is an iphone data plan and the other is just smartphone.

And why are you interested in an Inspire? Bigger screen? Better camera? Something else?

Haha there's nothing fishy, trust me. Truth is I've already owned an inspire. I love sense, and I basically got rid of it because of the battery life. I believe with the current roms and rocking green power premium, I could deal with it, and I want it back.
I'm a 23 year old college student, would only trade face to face, and would certainly let whoever demo the atrix to make sure its all good. I take exceptional care of all of my possessions. I'm the kind of dude that would lose it if so much a scratch happened on my phone.
They are both great phones, and I'm probable just being indecisive.

I'm located in Jersey City, NJ. I could entertain the idea of trading. My Inspire is rooted running Android Revolution 4G, with the Lee kernel (O/C to 1.8Ghz) and with the updated radio and build.prop settings. Phone is about 2 weeks old...

After thinking this through, I can't justify a trade without any sort of money thrown in to the deal. Especially considering I'm going to have to buy another case for the inspire.

Difference is atrix has its bootloader locked meaning u have to wait on every update via IT'S. It may be dual core but nothing on phone takes advantage of the processor speed. My inspire runs at a great rate and for those quadrant lovers,mine hits 32000 compared to atrix's 2700? If u love atrix,go got it. I returned mine and motoblur is flipping pathetic. Inspire ALL THE WAY!!

Pissed the heck off. My little rant.

So I'm pretty darn pissed. My beautiful infuse was stolen today, along with my cherished 16gb sd card with all my music stored on it. I called up att and they deactivated it and i have insurance but there's a flippin $200 deductable just to get a possibly refurbished one while I can get a refurbed on on the online store for almost free with upgrade. What the freaking f? Now I'm back to my indestructible brick of a phone, the Tilt 2 with a new 3g sim card and figuring out what to do. My friend offered to sell me an old iphone 3gs and i'm also looking at maybe getting a refurbed gsII skyrocket for 20 bucks at the online att store but I dunno. I really liked my infuse and might get that again but maybe I should just switch over? I'm like at a bridge I'm deciding whether to cross or not. Any ideas or suggestions?
TL;DR stolen phone, deciding what to do next.

Ehh I don't know. I really like the infuse and I actually don't want to downgrade to a smaller screen. If I could, I'd get a note but they have no refurbs available. I'm prolly just gonna get another infuse

I can understand that. I've seen faster/smaller phones, but I can't give up my 4.5" screen. Even a 4.3 is noticeably smaller to my trained eye. And Notes are too expensive right now.

I just checked out the skyrocket at the att store, and it was 4.3" screen.

I edited my first post. I'm meant skyrocket not sgs2. Getting a smaller screen really isn't a big deal. You get used to it.

You didn't have where's my droid or my lookout on it for GPS locating? That does suck! I paid $190 cash for mine via a craigs list ad. Maybe you should keep your eye out on there.

Go for the Skyrocket. It's got the same 4.5" screen, but has better hardware (dual core, higher RAM, etc.)
Plus, it already has Gingerbread on it and official ICS has already been leaked.

But skyrocket too has the "black" color issue. I checked it out at the AT&T store when I went to return the note.

Or you could just suck it up for a few months and wait for the sgs3

Return the note? What was wrong with it?? And for everyone else, I am thinking of the skyrocket noww but I'm just waiting for pprices to drop more and in the meantime I havee froyo on my tilt till my friend lends me his iphone.

Go for the skyrocket .. same screen and its a great device .. I have the infuse and the sky .. can't tell the difference except for the 4g icon .. I think the sg3 is just overkill for today's apps and stuff and especially if ur satisfied with how the infuse works (but that's just me) .. plus u will have a stable build of GB and ICS coming .. the skyrocket will get alot more love from att / Samsung than our infuse did :-/ ... although, yes, the development may not be as rich as our infuse section .. I have never had a problem with a refurbished phone .. usually they are returned phones within the 30 days but instead of sending them back to Sammy for new boxes and packaging, att does them

Don't go back to the Infuse....AT&T won't be updating it to ICS officially. I liked my Infuse, but since I had the Best Buy buy back program I took it back and they gave me $240 for it and I bought the Note. The Note is nice, just wish the battery allowed me to have 3 or 4 hours of screen time at decent brightness lol
Get the SkyRocket or the Note. If you don't want either just wait a month or so for a newer phone.

I got the note for 150 without a coupon or anything... just rant to art or ask them straight up to help you, tell them that you don't want to pay for another infuse that will never be updated .. though its a bad ass phone
I sold my infuse to my brother and got myself the note .. I love the note!!!

*sigh* I don't know why t mobile insists on dogging the mytouch line. The mt3g was high end for its time, same with the mt4g and mt4gs. Now its like they've dropped them down to bottom of the barrel phones. Hate to say it, but I have seriously been considering the gs2.

The only real reason I have not is because of money. Those phones ain't cheap, and unless I have a real need for that phone (which I don't), its not really worth it to me to spend it. Also, my contract is up on father's day, so I will probably get a nice upgrade for cheap then. I can wait.

My upgrade is around the same time. If the GS III launch is anything like the GS II, it'll hit the states months after the rest of the world. I may buy a Galaxy Note and flash the radio that works with T-Mobile to tide me over until the GS III or something else comes along. Then I will have two awesome phones.

The release might actually be delayed - but Samsung is doing a simultaneous launch with 70+ countries or something like that I think. .

good for you. I am used to it... I was with Virgin Mobile before I came to T-mo and if you think T-mo is bad. *shudder* At least T-mo releases updates... In the history of VM there has been 1 update. 1 and only 1. To a outdated phone to an outdated os... So I personally can live with having a phone have 0 updates or go to it's end of life... There is always dev support.
Also people complaining of lack of dev support... There are lots of devs here compared to a lot of other phones...

Yea I saw the specs on the new mytouch made by hanwei man 5 mp camera 720 recording ... yuck ... I think ill stay with my mt4gs ... I like it alot . So until the next big thing i doubt ill get rid of it

1 thing I will give a plus to is the new myTouch has a 4" screen which is nice. But personally I would love the One S with a qwerty.

My friend want to change his galaxy s3 to iphone 4s, is this normal trade? or better stay with s3? I just wanna prove him its no sence trade :/

It just depends what suits his needs best. Best thing he can do is use one for a bit to see if it actually brings something to the table that he really wants.

Considering the age of the 4S and the newness of the S3, it's a pretty rotten trade. I'd say wait for the new iPhone and sell the S3 to buy it off contract.

Alright will do, considering I got 200 for my Defy in march when I got this phone I would say thats a great price or the guy that bought my defy was a sucker idk. Also comes with brand new extra OEM battery I am using now as well as the icipio feather case and silicrylic case.

I want to ditch the Blaze for the HSPA+ GSM 32 GB (wooo, specs. lol) Nexus 7, since the Nexus 4 And Nexus 7 GSM are both gonna be the same $300 price.

Ya, I've had my Blaze listed on there for 2+ weeks here in Chicago and I only got 1 offer, which was for $150. :crying:

I guess that all really only matters if you managed to get a Nexus 4. I managed to snag one but it took quite a lot of work. Did the OP manage one?
