[Q] Black photo gallery i9023

Hello friend !
I have a big problem with my nexus s i9023 4.1.2 (stock rom, kernel stock).
Every now and then some pictures are black, I tried to use QuickPic but nothing. remain black!!

format sdcard, and put only neccessery photos on it, than see.

mmmm... eksasol , I think that nobody smartphone for picture. If I want to take a good picture I buy a reflex .
I'm not interested in the opinions on this camera, for the use that I have to do is just fine ...if you(eksasol) have a solution okay .. the rest doesn't interest me.
To avoid other OT we can continue in private or in another suitable post. thanks

Front camera please HELP

I did root my phone all was well when a normal day the front camera was saying could not start .... I have to restart the phone and then I can use to reset the camera back but not the front please help me .... everything else luxury works tell me if I have to use another room or I have to do PLEASE :crying:

[Resolved] Replace internal camera by another one

Hey,
I had to replace my screen some days ago, and by opening my phone, I was just thinking, is it possible to change the camera by another one ?
Of course, I mean a better one than the original we have.
I have no idea if the connector is the same between every Sony camera for exemple.

PS : I have a Oneplus One and I find the camera really ****ty

no you can't ...the camera needs a hardware that support it ...and even if that was found it's impossible i think :silly:

Galaxy S6 Video Focus issue

Hello lovely XDA forum.
So my big problem is when I'm recording a video my camera doesn't focus perfektly.. Watch this 2 videos than you will know what i mean. "Sorry i cant post the 2 video links because new here in this forum" It's just focusing when I manually focus it but it's always blurry when it try to autofocus. And yes I also try to reset my phone and this also doesn't work and I also go to the samsung store and all what they did was a software update and they really told me they will change the camera.. I hope someone can help me with this problem..

If they offered you to change the camera, DO IT ASAP! these camera issues once started will keep on incrementing day by day. So, either get your phone replaced or get your cam module changed! Cheers :good:

I will go again to the samsung store and I really hope they don't say anything about software!..

front camera blurry

my front camera is taking blurry pictures this is happening from few weeks i considered taking it to service center but maybe you people can help
blurry pictures as in if i take a selfie,the face appears washed out or very cartoonish type if i zoom in it gets distorted and its lacking details its not taking as sharp pictures as it use to take before although rear camera is working fine... please help

I have a similar problem with my front camera. Pictures taken are really ugly, the look like they have a beauty effect on it, or some blur. I thought this is normal...

It is normal. MAYBE rooting can undo the beauty effect, but on stock, beauty effect set to 0 is not really 0

my friends galaxy s6's front camera takes good pictures(as sharp and crisp as mine use to take before this problem p.s his s6 is new mine is quite old) and yes pictures taken are kind off ugly same as the guy said above "with some beauty effect on it or some blur" might be beauty effect i really dont know but beauty is set to 0 also this problem started like 3-4weeks back it was working fine before

So you say your friends phone does not have this beauty effect??? maybe it is firmware related. I am on 5.0.2. This sounds like a software issue...
I don't use the front camera anymore because the result is terrible.
Are there any others with good pictures made with front camera?

yes his s6 takes better pictures! without the beauty effect unless ofcourse he turns it on and no i dont have any other friends who own a s6 but i just watched many reviews on youtube and it seems this is a problem with our s6 only
and i guess it is firmware related but im on latest firmare of 5.1.1(G920IDVU3DOK9) for my region
maybe it is hardware issue? lens problem?

I just searched the internet for a solution but did not find anything. Someone said it can be fixed with root but not how...

well you can root the phone and install some other custom room like xtrestolite and check if the camera started working like before do inform me if it does
ill take it to service center soon hopefully they can fix it
and yes nothing on internet

ok, let us know what the service center says...
I will not update to a custom rom... My phone works fine except the blur...
