Where are the kernels? - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

I thought after the release of source we would be rolling knee deep in kernels. If I'm not mistaken, I think there is just one?

[Q] about aosp kernels relation to aosp roms.

Question, most phones including the G1 came with an aosp kernel. There is no source for their GB kernel, yet they are able to make the kernel for CM7.
YES, we have the froyo kernel source. So, could we make the froyo cm6 aosp kernel and reverse it just like that of the G1's and build the CM7 kernel from it.
AOSP kernels are reversible. Build an aosp froyo kernel, reverse, rebuild for the Aosp GB kernel.
The G1 does have source =0
Edit: Nevermind, misread OP
I want CM6 FROYO.

It is possible, only issue is I have no clue how to compile the AOSP kernel, otherwise i would have built it by now.

[Q] Kernel Questions

Guys i have two question..Whats the difference between All other ROMs and Custom IO control (CM tweak)
links from https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AntDDKv-lS6IdEt6NWVkX01vNmpfbEh4MHo4eDRCbXc#gid=0
And the second one is to flash the kernel i must first flash kernel and then the rom or first the rom and then the kernel??Thnx
Cm tweak is for cm based ROMs, all others is for, well, all others. Flash kernel after flashing ROM.

How i will find which roms are CM based?
Read the thread about the ROM you are interested in. If I'm not familiar with a ROM, i generally read the first page and the last few pages. That way I see what the dev says about it, and see more recent reviews/comments about the current version

Nexus 5 community has this
No need to build a kernel yourself.

So make your choice between CAF and AOSP.
best thing you can do is
build your own kernel(ask them what they used/changed)
or
try alternative CAF kernels
or
wait till the devs do it themselves.
You cant rush genius.
its just that only if someone could make a test build with those 2 cherrypicks

and i've been told that nahdi rom use CM?

Correct, CM based roms need CAF kernels. There are 2 types of kernel for the N5
Stock/AOSP (example, Franco)
CM/CAF (example Chaos)
They are not interchangeable.
Mahdi is an AOSP ROM

[Q] Kernel for Paranoid Android?

Think I am going to go ahead and make a switch to Paranoid Android. I had been using Franco Kernel on stock, but it looks like that won't work with PA. Which are the most stable kernels that do work?
