[MOD] AOSP 4.1 Email with Exchange | Flashable ZIP | JB 4.1.1 & 4.1.2

Due to the number of requests I have been getting via PM regarding AOSP Email with Exchange for our Samsung Note II's, I've decided to create a flashable zip in order to automate the install process when flashing new ROMs. This should work on most ROMs.
All credit goes to the general Note forums where I got the APKs and the initial instructions and scrosler for providing the flashable ZIP.
This is my first mod, therefore I apologize if there is an unforeseen issue. Please review the instructions below to install the mod and remember to always perform a nandroid backup.
Instructions: (You will need to flash this after every ROM install/update, since those ROMS include the stock email and stock Exchange.)
1. Download the mod: View attachment AOSP-4-1-email.zip
2. Reboot into recovery
3. Flash mod and reboot
***** Your stock email apps will be removed! *****
Known Issues:
Though this is not really an issue, you may get force closes after the stock email has been removed and the phone will be slow if this happens. The solution to this is to clear data for Email, under Settings >Application Manager>All>Email. A reboot may be required.

This mod doesnt seem to work with the latest roms, anyone with an idea how to get AOSP EMAIL to work?

I keep getting a 'file is invalid' error when I download aokp-4.1.2-RC0.VM660.MaceksMod.0412201.zip. I've tried a few diff Internet connections and PC's, is that one ready to be used?

the aokp hasnt been tested yet, it could be a problem w/the website, androidfilehost is known to have issues where it'll say something like, "file does not exist"

ok. first load took long time... to be expected though. Tested and few issues, only phone based though. if you could provide a different GApps zip link, i think it would be perfect.

i got supersu problem, i use titanium backup, when supersu ask me grant permission, i choose grant, but titanium backup freeze at "asking for root right" i don't know how to fix that.
and about Wifi, i can turn on wifi, but when i connect, it just said remembered, nothing happen

Elephone p6000_CyanogenMod12.1 based on Android 5.1.1

You'd better conduct factory reset and wipe cache partition first . Back up your phone before factory reset. If there are some errors during flashing, you can flash official rom first and then try again.

anyone seen a device config or kernel for this?
It's using the same kernel as the Lollipop 5.0 release, 3.10.61, while the only source we have available is 3.10.48, which was released with the KitKat stock rom.

The rom is a disaters.
Flickering screen.no 4g,3g works like a nightmare,nu sd card,and so om.

So, to start off, this application is in ACTIVE development. Expect some bugs here and there and also consider that the ROM you ported with my tool might need some extra tweaking.

Hey, today I'll be showcasing a small nifty application for Windows I made that allows you to port roms that use the same MediaTek chipset with ease.
It has some cool features like:
-Included support for MT6572/6582/6592 ROM porting
-Ability to create custom porting routines for different MTK chipsets/special ROMs like MIUI and such.
[HOW TO USE]
1. Download the .net 4.5 Framework
2. Launch the application
3. Select the Base ROM (by using the 'Stock/Ported ROM zip' button) and the Port ROM (by using the 'New ROM Zip' button).
4. Select the android version of the ROM you want to port and the chipset (select custom if you are using a custom preset/porting routine)
5. Click on the 'Do it!' button.
6. Wait for about 3 minutes for the process to finalize.
7. You should see a Message Box popping up telling you that everything finalized successfully.

Q: ohmygod it gave me an error!!! what now?
A: Make sure the ROM files are actually compatible.
Q: How do I create a preset/custom porting routine?
A: When this project will be fully stable I'll work on a proper guide. There is a sample preset under /Binaries/0.2.0.0/mt6582.ini on the GitHub repo you can modify.
Q: Found a bug, what now?
A: Report it on GitHub/On this XDA post.
Q: My ported ROM didn't boot. What do I do?
A: Check the updater-script and the build.prop of the ROM. Tweak them if needed.
