"GBSandwich" can be flashed through any custom recovery.
ad2sdx / data2ext MOD should be flashed only after one complete boot of the new ROM

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTONS
Download GBSandwichV3 from the link
Put the GBSandwichV3.zip in root of your sdcard
Reboot to recovery mode
Wipe all (Factrory Reset) Data & Cache
Wipe Dalvik Cache
Start Install GBSandwichV3.zip
Aroma Installer will start automatically & guide you through the Installation Process
After Installation is fully complete, Reboot your device.
First Boot will take more time. Don't worry its totally normal.
Once device boots up, let it settle down properly till 2 to 3 minutes.
Enjoy GBSandwichV3 with Better Sound Experience, Buttery Smooth Transitions, & Better Camera Performance.
IMP NOTE : If status bar icons does not show up after the first flashing of the ROM, just drag down the status bar & put on airplane mode once & put off. Status bar would show up after the same.

Hi Yasir,
Aroma installer is a touch based interface in recovery mode for ROM installations. You don't have to do nothing just follow the steps mentioned as it comes up on screen.
PLEASE NOTE I HAVE NOT CONFIGURED (need time) "AROMA" FOR CUSTOMISED PACKAGE INSTALLATIONS. SO IF YOU SELECT IT, IT WILL INSTALL ONLY THE DEFAULT PACKAGE (full rom).

Front cam is not working. Video calling works well but not with front cam. I will solve the bug & the other two minor bugs ASAP & update.
Have you tried it. Do leave your comments & feedback after trying. It has a lot of customization features under SETTINGS->DROIDPM EXTRAS for individual to change according to personal taste.
Good work DROIDPM. Could you add some screenshots which will give some idea how the new UI and framework mods looks like?

I am very sorry to say that you misunderstood & made a mess of all the statements, which I never expected from a fellow MI350n user.
Can you please mention where did I tell that AROMA INSTALLER is developed by me? ITS A VERY WELL KNOWN FACT TO ALL THOSE WHO POST IN THESE KIND OF FORUMS, THAT IT IS DEVELOPED BY AMARULLZ. I am still confused whether at any point of time I did mention/introduc/boast myself as a ROM COOKER/ROM DEVELOPER. In fact I AM A MAN to openly admit in an open forum like XDA that I AM NOT AT ALL A ROM DEVELOPER. I HAVE TAKEN THINGS FROM HERE & THERE & MADE SOME PORTS WHICH WORKS ON OUR MI350n. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1528414&page=23 Please click above link to see the post by yourself & verify.
And if you are talking about the start up "logo" file which mentions "created by DroidPM", then please understand I am mentioning about "GBSandwich" which is a themed ROM & not AROMA, ext4.ko, Data2ext Mods etc etc.
Also talking about the tutorials (data2ext & aroma), I have configured AROMA for the ROM installation according to my needs & data2ext mod placings of files are different as compared to others (SCRIPTZ folder). Hence the tutorials posted are specific for my ROM(s), the way I utilized & configured them.
I once again request you to visit & check properly I have mentioned already tat I liked Bala's ROM a lot.Click HERE. I am not comparing myself or boasting of myself as a GR8 ROM DEVELOPER.
I very well know what I am, & what I am capable of & what not. I started porting ROMS out of my passion & for my own personal use with my own likings & taste. Then I thought of posting my work in XDA just thinking that others can also benefit from my work who are LIKEMINDED & having similar sought of taste as of mine. I have never done this ROM porting job for any kind of commercial benefits or to have fame. In fact if you follow my posts you will not get any (not a single) appeal for pressing Thanks Button or asking for donations.
Sorry if I am getting in to it a bit more than expected, but to be very frank, I am really hurt. Never expected this kind of behavior here. I agree due CREDITS should be given but that can be mentioned & told in a much generous way, not like the above mentioned by our friend @mm.

Great Rom Mate,, atleast now i had to take off my spice mi350n out of dustbin which i threw away few months back, This rom is really very good. Good work keep it up....
guys dont fight over credits etc...... nobody gives a damn about credits etc....... all they want is a good rom plus a tutorial explaining how to install it.......

Atleast my modded/ported ROM has been of some use. Don;t forget to update it with latest v1.0.4 which will fix data2ext problem.
IMPORTANT UPDATE:
Data2Ext now fixed in GBSandwich. Update your phone to GBSandwich_v1.0.4 & enjoy Data2Ext. Update has already been pushed. Please download it from UpdatemeSmartPhone app present in app drawer.

It could just be someone's personal learning-Android-journey shared with others, don't you think? If you decide to flash it or not is another story, but I think it helps to share ROM's so you get feedback and learn. I don't know with what goal raja makes it, but who are we to judge someone?

CM7.2 Alpha8.1 based rom & fully working rom are like merging an electron and a proton. It isn't logical. He could upload it as he want, but its YOUR choice to flash it. Maybe somebody else is willing to test this rom.

He does it because he wants to do it. He doesnt do it for us. Why "we dont need?". You dont need this, but maybe another xda user wants to try this rom, why not?. One person's trash is another person's treasure...
Let him try his best as he wants. Don't make useless posts. Let this rom be released and after this you can leave feedback.

This OS has been kept stock as much as possible (removed chinese bloatware) to give you the best vanilla LeWa experience. Many will say that it doesn't have any mod(s), like for eg. music mod, performance mod, etc., but I think you guys can do that yourselves too because for the people who don't want these MOD(s), it will be equal to bloatware. Bro idk that as this phone heats too much so I just made sure that I unlock its core fir oc bur I havent tried ocing it myslf

Sorry bro but for the 1st time I got to hear that a Custom ROM has enabled OC'ing. Which isn't really possible. That's why I asked. OCing,undervolting,OTG support are kernel dependent. So only a Custom Kernel can enable such features.

Hey, ive been using this ROM and this is what i think
ITS AWESOME!
2 tiny bugs though.. 1, time estimation of remaining battery backup is wrong. and every time i boot... google partner force close error. (please temme how to fix) (and also.. the clean widget doesnt reload after using once.. must add as new widget everytime)

and yeah.. even the audio quality seems to be better
woulda liked a different camera app..

yep bro i m on that google crash fix and also the clean widget has some problem because it kills itself , you know just kill them by holding the home button, it is the same thing! also camera is stock, why do you want to change it.
and for tweaks stuff i added none because i wanted to give a stock experience!
now in next update i m going to update all those things!
@dan.man.. thanx man ur.. the best. yeah stock is good. also is there any way i can fix the battery left hours estimation. hey found one more bug. when changing lock patter to pin.. its impossible to unlock the phone (in lock screen.. keys go beyond the screen ) . and i added init.d support using universal init.d from xda. and flashed supremacy script v3.. phone is even smoother .. and OTG still doesnt work. apart from that.. the best

Buddy first no offence or im not degrading your efforts. But please browse around the forum. All custom roms use somewhat the same mods and changes which is already made ready by some senior developers. If people have come around with some new developments, then whats the reason that all the roms perform similarly and especially in regards to ram managements except for visual changes.
All these mods can be done by a little advanced android user with the help of kitchen and some advanced tools.
Instead of jamming up the threads with new roms, a better option would be to make a flashable zip of optimized mods, which will be within 30mb max and will give the users the same experience of all custom roms.. This will work on most roms, as 90% of them are based on stock firmware except for lewa and miui.
I am not pointing this just at you but its a request to all the forum members. These kind of roms will just lead in to confusions on which to use while the performance is 95% similar to each other.

First of all you can't group other people and me... No one is a pro.. They aren't senior.. Look at XDA their not even babies! Also, I am not junior in terms of account creation! I know XDA since it was started but I never made an account because I wasn't eligible at that time!
You can't compare roms in terms of the Author! You can't rate the rom good if the Author is a RD/RC/RT.
Also, I said this is the Beta Build #1 which has nothing to do with theming.. This is just to check if it works fine with users!
I am going to add OTA just like in JetMOD in the RC 1 of this rom!
UI Changes will be made but not with the design but with animations! I want to give AOSP look!

CHILL BRO!! I said I was not pointing this just at you already. BTW I didnt mention the people who created the custom roms as seniors. I meant the people who made supercharger scripts, kitchen, etc means real developing from scratch. And there was no question of rating a rom so the developer being a RD/RC/RT dosent matter here. And again whats the point in adding a OTA and making some UI changes when there is no major performance change.

I have integrated Ram Manager and many other tweaks!
Have you hear of TrickDroid? WanamLite? Omega? Android Revolution HD? They all are stock based roms with no UI changes but still they have achieved wonders!
Also, Why don't you take this rom as a test one?

My main concern with this build was to check if it boots! Once someone confirms its booting, I'll start the real work

Everyone needs to join the party at one time or the other. Both of you were correct in your own ways. Kishoredroid you were right in getting a complete rom out vs modded zips. But you need to start somewhere. If nolinuxnoparty feels this is his start then let go with it. Just giving another option to users which i know already have plenty of options already. But the main thing to see is what this evolves into. How much the dev learns and make it stand out from the crowd. All the best. Lets appreciate each other views.

After looking at the OP, I'm actually very impressed...
But I guess, it would be more impressive if you guys actually do what you've stated, coz as posted...the beta build isn't flashing... @nolinuxnoparty - Just one thing, it would be better if you don't say who's an XDA Baby and who's a Pro...better show it through your work...
As for now...I will wait for a stable version of this ROM...
I guess I need to change the base of the roms!

I dont take chances with MMX phones basically.. Just think, if ur phone hardbricks the guy to be blamed will be me. I can develop kernels but not until My friend or I have the device.. Stop posting here now! JB kernels are not possible without proper source!
EDIT:
Most of the legacy device which have JB 4.2 didn't even have kernel source for GB.... Their is no point arguing on this :sly::sly:

Installation Instructions-
Warning Before Flashing :
1.IMPORTANT: FLASH AT YOUR OWN RISK. We are not responsible for any bricked phones or damages caused due to the ROM. You lose warranty when you root/flash ROMS on your phone.
2.BATTERY: Keeping at 100% charged is recommended before flashing.
3.BACKUP: Take BACKUP from recovery, useful in case you mess up. Or try Titanium to backup all data and apps.
Flashing Steps-
1.Download ROM and store on Internal or External SD
2.Start TWRP/CWM Recovery Mode. (CWM Recommended)
3.Take full backup in recovery mode.(In case of any problem)
4.Wipe data or factory reset.
5.Wipe cache partition.
6.Wipe Dalvik Cache
7.Format System
8.Install ROM
FLASH ANY KERNEL.
NOTE- MOST IMPORTANT REBOOT THE DEVICE AFTER INSTALLING THE ROM

the developer says it is preferable to use PMB and at the same time recommends user to use Seeder also but in the PMB page it advice that
"Before Flashing please do a nandroid backup to avoid any incompatibility issues.
Do not use with any other Mod script or apps improvement because they conflict ( Seeder / Crossbredder ...)"
how to understand these points. can user use PMB and seeder? please clear it

bro first of all a very big congo ,coz ur the first dev who has made both sim 3g on miui, no one else has been able to do that even there was no option to use data connection on second sim, n secondly u have added a lot of tweaks too n liked ur op presentation very much

Bro i told u in the op itself to reboot the device after installation otherwise internet access will not be there although it connects and for weather app u can try to flash universal gps fix

I've been using Zeus for quite some time since the release and I noticed frequent lags and freezes but decided to wait for v2 of this ROM instead of complaining here. Now the v2 is up and while I was waiting for it to finish downloading, I tried flashing one of the new tweaks and it made my phone run smoother so I guess you could just flash the tweak you want without changing Zeus.
I am currently using Zexar and I haven't encountered any problems whatsoever as of this moment. I'm using the multi-task version since I don't really play HD games. I love it! I also like that the default messaging app is Textra, as I've stated in my previous post, this is my most favorite messaging app! I uninstallef Facebook though since I'm satisfied with using UC Mini Browser and opening Facebook there. The issue of the other characters not showing up is now fixed, thank you. I also like the keyboard better.
3G is also here yay for that! I can now use Psiphon.
Also the Greenify donate is awesome. Pre-installing it in this ROM is a smart move. May I just ask if you have a list of safe to Greenify system apps? I'm pretty paranoid when it comes to it but I still Greenify some.
All in all I am more than satisfied with this ROM. Thank you so much for this. Thank you for your hard worl and for listening and continuing to listen to us fellow users and for helping as well. I will test this for a week and I will totally recommend this to my friends. Thank you thank you!

In this ROM ,I too like other user faced hindi and other regional font issue , I just deleted all font file and replace them with font file from other rom that has no font issue

AndroidL919™v2 ZEXAR**MUST READ: ANDROID SYSTEM DOESN'T WORK LIKE WINDOWS! Android has its own built-in ram manager. The size of your free memory doesn't result to better performance, stability, and smoothness. It's normal to have apps to run in background to enable quick relaunch, Android OS applications remain in the memory, even when they are closed. When there is not enough memory for newer apps to run, the low memory killer (LMK) clears the memory automatically using the latest recently used (LRU) list. It prioritize your apps according to system needs and users priority on which apps to clear automatically. If you clear the memory manually, application may take longer to launch resulting to more CPU load and battery usage. Thus, the use of Task Managers is not advisable. The inclusion of Task Managers (Task Manager and Xtreme Booster) is sought to be important as our device has low RAM MEMORY therefore these Task Manager are there to be used when RAM-HUNGRY-APPS causes low-memory error.**
FOR CWM USERS
1)Download the ROM zip of your choice either (AndroidL919™v2_ZEXAR[GAMING].zip or AndroidL919™v2_ZEXAR[MULTI-TASK].zip) and the patch file(AndroidL919™v2_ZEXAR_PATCH.zip) from the download section
2)Put both zip files in your MicroSDCard Storage
3)Power off your device and boot to recovery by holding volume up, volume down, and power button at the same time, follow through where it will boot you to recovery mode
4)Select "wipe data/factory reset" and press power button to enter
5)Select "wipe cache partition "and press power button to enter
6)Go to "advanced" and select "wipe dalvik cache" and press power button to enter
7)Go to "mounts and storage"
8)Select "format /cache" and enter press power button to enter
9)Select "format /data" and enter press power button to enter
10)Select "format /system" and enter press power button to enter
11)Select "install zip from sdcard" press power button to enter
12)Select "choose zip from sdcard" press power button to enter
13)Select the ROM file(AndroidL919™v2_ZEXAR[GAMING].zip or AndroidL919™v2_ZEXAR[MULTI-TASK].zip) zip and press power button to enter
-Wait for 3-5 minutes it will automatically reboot your device and power it up.
**NOTE: First boot will usually take 3-5 minutes**
14)When your device successfully power up, power it off and repeat step number 3 only
15) Repeat step number 11-12
16) Select the PATCH file (AndroidL919™v2_ZEXAR_PATCH.zip) and press power button to enter
17) Go back and reboot and you're done! :good:
KNOWN MINOR BUGS:
**On first boot if you go to settings>apps>running>it will force close, Just log in your google account or reboot it will solve the problem**
**There might be an "Error retrieving information.." error on your first download on Play Store, just ignore it and redownload, and the error will be gone**
**When using the new messager which is an app from Play Store, you have to set your default SIM for sending messages in Settings>Sim Management**

2)Why does my proximity is not working?
As I stated above in the instructon section, you may or may not need to flash your stock kernel for proximity to work although we have cloned devices we have different configurations and drivers
3)Message not working on lockscreen? why?
As I stated in the KNOWN BUGS, the message is not the default message, its an app from playstore so it has a different package name so the lockscreen cant find the stock message which has a package name of com.android.mms, although flashing stock message from the download section will solve this problem but redirect you only to the stock messaging not the included messaging app

use ES File Explorer or other Root Explorer and make sure you're root permitted go to tools then check Root then open build.prop
