HW Acceleration in video (use 3rd party players with SW rendering)
That's fixed in Alpha 11, and it probably is here.. but it's in the bugs table.
Anyways, Thanks for taking over the project, the ROM is nice.

I tjink that the fix in alpha 11 is the vide recording...isn`t it?

Video playback through HW acceleration is fixed in cm9 alpaha11.

It is fix since Alpha 10, so it's a "really old" bug xD
Also I have a video here from the RemICS ROM:

Changelog Added & Updated.

I have just installed this ROM and when the screen shuts off I can't get it back to lock screen...screen stays dead...
Backlight buttons come on, but not the screen...any ideas?
I also did factory reset and on freah install (when language is chosen) if I lock the screen I can't bring it up again...just stays black...

Hi,
I think this issue was reported on the previous roms (dunno the versions) also. I am not sure if it was resolved. I also sometimes face this issue. Pressing the power button somehow resolves the issue. BTW I am on v1.5 still

Sorry for the noob question but do i have to do a factory reset if coming from cm9 or can i just flash it directly? Thanks.

This is a base rom bug. I have seen this happen on cm9 till alpha 9. This is not happening to me or txitxo0 or most of the people on Remics.
Sent from my GT-I9003

Any idea how to possibly fix?
I LOVE your ROM...and it would suck if I can't use it...

I was gonna update to the 1.5.3 fixed version but seeing the lock screen bug i am gonna wait for a solution. Btw can calculator be added. Missing it so much lol.

This bug is at the kernel level. I cannot fix that. Try vurrut's kernel & check if it solves your problem.
Sent from my GT-I9003

Tried Vurrut's and Arindam's...same thing...on Arindam's even the backlit keys don't light up...
So I guess only stock firmware possible for me then?
I see no other option...
And it's such a shame...this ROM is really spectacular...
I am just stupified how it's not the same symptoms on everyone's phone...

comparing roms is like comparing the same car you know? it just depends on how much screentime/cpu speed/which battery you use/how many idle hours
also with a car, how much you drive it and how hard you hit the pedal and even how much you use it takes you to go through your fuel ~
If anyone is thinking about trying this...do it
Not sure how battery life is considering this thread was just posted last night (or early morning depending where one is located) but so far everything else is pretty badass.
The only thing I miss about Sense based releases is having Show-p's Bricked kernel but the ROM and theme work here are so cool it's okay.
Downloading now thanks
Luv the blue theme looks! May take for a spin...
Runs very very smooth good work guys I like this rom alot

Haha so true. There has to be some sort of difference between this and EyeCandy. I mean I booted them both and they both looked the exact same. Only difference I noticed was PBC had more "complete" theming but only had one theme. And GPS didn't work. I went right back to EyeCandy.

GPS is working here. I used GPS status to update GPS and rebooted and it works fine. Took a little longer to find route for navigation, but found my location pretty fast.

Yea I'm on eyecandy myself. I'm going to try this rom tho. Looks great. Using the themed PCB keyboard right now. Pretty sweet lookin

PowerAmp Problem
Hey can anyone confirm that PowerAmp is kinda broken on AOKPCB?
Of the three tabs, Folders - Player - Library, Player refuses to open and that screen is kind of necessary to see song progress and change songs easily.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled so many times along with fixing permissions and the only conclusion I have come to is AOKP bug. Which is fine, just wanna know if I should give up and go back to Sense-based "AOSP"

Hey HunnyBearLewis, I run PowerAMP myself, and even though I have a maguro (can't physically test w/a pyramid/Sensation), I can't really say. Not sure how it would affect PowerAMP in such a way, but again, seems to work fine for me
Yeah I don't know how either...I'm about to flash AOKPCB again for the heck of it and see if that straightens it out.
Update: Flashing ROM and gapps again with only wiping cache fixed it and PowerAmp works perfectly now.
I am confused....what link i must download....where is themed aokp?????

Links for 'official releases' are on the side bar, but there is currently one release: R1. Links for 'nightlies' are below 'releases' on the sidebar as well, and this should bring you to a page where you'll see a white frame with a directory listing. Simply go into the directory for your device (most likely 'pyramid' which is the Sensation device codename), and download the latest nightly (check the timestamps).
Hope that helps!
ROM updated to R2 BETA (Please note its beta. Many bugs have been squashed. Intent of beta release is to squash the remaining bugs (mostly device specific) before releasing Official R2. Please report all bugs found here or on scar45's thread (link in op)
Posting bugs here is preferred cos I can update the 3rd post.
Link to download is here - http://pcb.team.broc.co/li/aokpcb/latest-aokpcb-nightly

Yes - wifi works but the signal strength is not available in the status bar as this is a known bug in the base rom.
@ALL, I know that currently the size of the ROM is a bit large - but will try to trim it as much as possible in the next release. IMHO - Still its very fast and smooth. Thanks to Dhiru
thank you for sharing

|The Start|
Hey guys i know that its been a while. Thats why today im proud to introduce Glazed Jellybean V2.0 for the Nexus 7. Glazed Jellybean comes from android 4.1.2, the most up to date android yet. This rom is focused on 3 things and they are, Stability, Speed, and Features. Glazed Jellybean includes many tweaks that speed it up compared to most roms. It removes unused files that slow down the nexus 7 and uses custom scripts to speed the system up. Stability is a big deal when it comes to roms, so that is why Glazed Jellybean is extremely stable. Glazed Jellybean comes from CM10 so that you get all the awesome features that you would not normally get on a stock rom. There are many options and extras that you can choose from. Anyways thanks guys for being so supportive and i hope you enjoy.

*Incorporated v6 SuperCharger

*XLoud
*Bravia
*Debloated

*added MotoBlur ICS clock widget
*subbed out boot animation for RemICS JB's boot animation
*changed VM heap size to 192m
*optimized services.jar
*more goodies
Note: v2.0 is my take on the ROM, hence the name change. v1.3 and v1.3.1 were direct ports from the EVO. I only did minor tweaks on the ports, I went full out on v2.0.
Note: If using the v6 SuperCharger script also, say NO to miscellaneous and 3G tweaks. They are already incorporated and some conflict.
v1.3.1:
-Tons of build.prop tweaks added
-Alarm fixed
-Other stuff I'm forgetting about
V1.3
-Moved data apps to system apps
-Removed Apex and Nova launchers
-Removed Swype Beta (FCing)
-Changed VM Heap size to 128M
-Added boot.img with Ramdisk tweaks (Thanks PapaSmurf151)
-Added Google Voice, Facebook, ICS Torch, Calculations 4.0, Google Maps, No Frills CPU
-4G
-Keyboard/Soft Key/Autobrightness bug-fix posted in thread, it wipes the values when I put them in before flashing but doesn't after the ROM is booted.
Keyboard and Soft Key Lights fix:
Go into settings/ display/ automatic backlight/ edit other levels and input these values and hit save and apply (255 on all keyboard and soft keys, adjust the screen brightness to your liking. I found 50 to be good for the first value in the second column) ... MAKE SURE AUTOBRIGHTNESS IS ON.

1. Download ROM (you can do that one now and come back)
2. Place ROM on sd card
3. Wipe everything (data, cache, system, dalvik cache) multiple times- at least 3
Or Superwipe using Dread7us's modified CWM (which I recommend highly) and then wipe dalvik cache.
4. Flash and enjoy.

Yeah I hate Samsuck but I figured I would give this a try since there was nothing like it on the Shift and I was pretty impressed, it runs a lot better since I switched out the kernel and changed the vm heap to 128M.
Nice work . Will be trying it out later.
Great work, and love love love seeing devs work in here in the shift. Much appreciation, all my refreshing I do everyday to see for new post has paid off lol. Going to check this one out, been running SmurfMod w/ Tiamat Kernal which seems to be running great. Just battering drain is happening bad, which is batterys fault I do believe, flashing stock to go take it in.
Ill start linking you roms to post tomorrow

is there a known issue with the auto-brightness setting? when i turn it on, screen gets way too dark for it to be working correctly. also, the default setting in camera is 5MP which shows a black screen, if i change it to a lower setting then back to 5MP it works, but when going back into the camera with 5MP still the default setting the screen is black again.
thats the only issues i see, other than that this is running great!!!

Yes it is a known issue sorry I forgot to add it to the OP
I notice that if you take a picture it works, and is no longer black. However I have purchased/downloaded JB Camera & Gallery + and my camera doesn't do that anymore when using this app. Also much stabler and faster.
Also you mentioned you swapped kernel out, is it the same kernel that is in the rom? I have flashed tiamat on mine and have seen very nice battery life and responsiveness.

I swapped the kernel out of my base (SmurfMod9) for a tweaked one, the kernel in this ROM is different from the one in SmurfMod9
so far, so good! installed with no hitches, but for instance in settings a lot of the text is very garbled, not a big deal as i know the touchwiz roms pretty well, but is this normal or should i maybe re-download and install? i was wondering if anyone else had noticed it. other than that its all working just fine, havent had any anrs of any type so im happy! im noticing a lot of the ics roms available for this limited development device are pretty borked. this one seems great so far!

This happens on other devices as well. Including devices with official ics. Noted HERE. And is usually fixed by killing whatever app is acting up.
As for the camera previews not showing up on start, try adding
Code:
#Force camera preview
ro.camera.preview=true
To your build.prop. We've had to force the camera preview on other msm7x30 devices to get it to work right (though it's done for us in source, via camerhal if I remember right).
Let me know how that works out for you.
Cheers from the MT4G section.

Themes

The formerly included theme was A-Theme Lite by AChep.

Download the theme of your choice onto your phone and use Theme Chooser (included in GingerDX) to select theme.
Notice:-
Very important. Read all before posting questions!
1. This ROM is based on doixanh's personal ROM and continued in the same philosophy to keep it as lightweight as possible. You can report bugs in this thread and suggest additions, but understand we're not obligated to fix or include them. We'll fix what is needed, and we'll include what makes sense.
2. We are NOT responsible for any bugs caused by custom-made fixes/additions/tweaks. You use them at your own risk and responsibility!
3. Regarding the copyright branding at the bottom in Lockscreen: We will NOT remove them nor provide any option to disable them. Don't PM/Post to ask for the removal or nag otherwise.
4. If you have battery drain, try the following:
Clear battery stats in recovery.
Freeze unused services (like Email, DSP Manager, Maps). This is important.
Turn OFF 'Allow mock locations'.
Don't set brightness too high.
Don't install too many unused apps.
Turn OFF WiFi, 2G, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth when not in use.
Turn OFF LED Succession.
Reboot after you listen to music. Music service caused battery drain (in the past).
Generally, doixanh and me usually get 2-3 days out of a charge (give or take depending on usage).
5. If you still have battery drain after following Step 4, try:
Full wipe in recovery, re-install GingerDX.
Use Stock ROM for several days to see if the battery problem is caused by GingerDX or not.
If it doesn't drain, try installing one of your apps, test battery for a day, install another one, and test.
and so on...
That way you will know what's the cause of your battery drain.

Really like this ROM. One question though, how do you disable boot animation sound?
Edit: Found it. Went into system>media and deleted the mp3 file

LOL! I nearly fell off my chair when my phone rebooted! Nice work, but a but too noisy
Very good so far.
Couple of issues:
Camera Preview not working (at least with downloaded Camera Zoom FX)
Battery usage bars not showing. Percentages look to be accurate, but the bars all show the same amount.
