Im trying to flash back to stock ICS through Odin. Im coming from PA's Jellybean. Odin seems to work just fine. My phone boots to the samsung logo, then to the att logo and then just hangs. Ive tried reflashing atleast four times and it keeps hanging on logo. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Boot into your stock recovery and wipe data/factory reset, cache, and all that other stuff. Then try and reboot. If you are still stuck, odin it again and you should be cool.
Like Copene said. Just battery pull at the logo and clear everything.

Hey all,
I wiped data/factory reset three times in RED CWM,
then flashed the Hawkish premium zip,
then flashed hellraiser immediately,
and then rebooted and now I'm on a samsung logo boot loop.
What did I do wrong?
I can still get on RED CWM so I might just go back to Infused...
but I wanna give this ROM a try.. so can anyone help me get on it?? =(

The locked thread was an incredibly poor attempt to kang the GS2 version of Hawkish.
There is also an i9000 version of Hawkish that should be Hellraisable. I haven't tried it myself though.

Reboot into recovery and install a different rom.
I had this exact same thing on my daughter's Sidekick, where a custom kernel didn't want to boot the phone up.
I tried restoring the backup I had made; nothing. I factory reseted it; nothing.
Loaded up another rom (last ditch effort), and BAM, it went through.
So try rebooting into recovery and load another rom.
After wiping and re-flashing an MIUI rom, my recovery has disappeared! Like i cannot enter it at all, it's just stuck at the Samsung screen What do I do?
you can get it back by flashing a different kernel with cwm. Then reflash rom.

Sounds like you got a soft brick. Can you get it into download mode?
You will need Odin or heimdall to get it back to stock.

Hello all, I need your help. Today I flashed a zip on a whim, and it has ruined my whole day.
I have managed to get back to CWM v2.5.1.3 RED, and can flash zips and clear cashes, all that. But when I reboot, it brings me right back to CWM. Any help for me? I am lost.
Thanks in advanced,
Nate
P.S. I am not afraid of the command line.
Try odin?
I have tried GTG Unbrick. That's how I've gotten as far as I have.
How long does it usually take? I'm staring at the Odin screen for about 5mins now and it still says "Set Partition" and "DO NOT TURN OFF TARGET!!"
Alright, FIXED, I just needed to keep retrying. It took like 5 attempts to get it going right.

... thanx buddy for help but already running 4.3. i cant believe what i was missing. i was just rebooting the recovery where i needed to reboot the system after flashing cm9 1st time. and when i did, wowwww no problems and now phone runnin on 4.3. butterly smooth ...
I was running Jellybeans 4.1.2 did a factory reset, flashed this 4.3 ML modem, rebooted into the recovery and flashed the Alliance zip. When I I try to start the phone it gets stuck loading the samsung screen and rebooting, I can still boot into recovery by holding the power, home, and volume up and already tried to reflash but I'm still having the same issue.
Should I try an older build or different setting when I set up the rom. The whole set up process works and it seems to install just fine until I try to actually boot the phone.

Yeah, I can't enter recovery I'll probably have to pull the battery which as I understand will likely brick the phone since I'm stuck 50% into the flash.
Ok try that and tell me what happens.

Pulled the battery and booted into recovery no problem. Can I got back to Jellybeans 19 or 20 with the ML1 modem, I was on the original modem when I was running that rom.

Yes. You can run any modem with any ROM. Apparently LTE data does not work correctly on the latest 4.3 base unless you have the ML1 modem, though.
I don't see why Alliance ROM isn't booting for you. Was it in an actual bootloop or just stuck on Samsung logo? I know that the first boot after flashing a 4.3 ROM takes extra long. Also a simple battery pull when it's stuck on Samsung logo sometimes works.
If it was in a boot loop you might have had a bad download. Try re-downloading the Alliance ROM zip and re-flashing!
Wait, how are you getting to recovery on an S3 Verizon 4.3?

I'm honestly not sure the difference between a bootloop and the samsung logo. The phone vibrates as part of the boot, Samsung logo comes up, vibrate, black screen and repeat.
I'll download the zip again and start over. Should I try the build 21 first for any reasons?
Try an sd card with written boot to it

The build number does not matter. You should be able to flash anything. What you are describing is definitely a boot loop. I would try to re-download the build 22 zip. What recovery are you on?

That's the latest recovery so you should be good. The only thing I can suggest is to re-download the zip and try again. Make sure you back up your data and factory reset before flashing (wipe data, cache, dalvik).
If that doesn't work you should be able to flash back to your old 4.1.2 build. Did you make a nandroid?
