Just go sign up for the beta I did that a while ago and when they release new betas the swype installer automatically updates to the new version to download.
I've tryed this and it looks like beta is over I have not gotten an email back from them and I tried with 3 different accts and ts been 3 days

This is xda. 75% of what you do can and most likely in some way be twisted into an act of breaking the rules. Someone WILL report you even if it doesn't. They have no life but xda and know how to warp things into rule breakage! Trust me.

Look like I was wrong swype had an issue with their email system all three accts I set up just got activation emails this morning I have set up and installed swype it works great!

hey bud. just do what I did. I searched in google dragon mobile apk. there are a couple links there it works on mine. I had the same issue not for your country or phone. but I have the apk and its sweet.

Yeah I just found today that it finally works on all available versions. :good:
Yes i found it also am going to give it a try.
this is an interesting program to say the least. Doesn't always recognize what i am saying but it works fairly well, And yes saying HI DRAGON is kinda weird for sure.
Well it works much better on my Toshiba Thrive. It has a terrible time recognizing my voice on the Infuse. I'm having better luck with Skyvi!

Not my business really but shouldn't you find the devs who did these and get their permission before posting... Or at least give them credit and thanks? I'm sure most are happy to share but some my not like that you're posting their work with no credit. Maybe some links to where you found these? Just trying to help you stay out of trouble.

I've gotten these from places like 4shared and other file share sites finding the person who did the work would be impossible but if anyone recognised there work here and wanted me to put credit up for them or take down their work I would gladly but I have no idea who made these but thanks for your concern

I got It. I used TI to unistall it. After reboot i was able to install.

To get the Gmail app working, simply uninstall the original Gmail from Google store. Then install the new Gmail app. It will then say sinking email. What you will notice on your status bar is a little icon with an! In it. You have to give the app permissions to sync your email. After you accept reboot your phone and tada!

Here's a link to Trav's inverted gapps. Email is in there. It says 4.1 so I'm guessing thats still the newest version. Either flash the whole package in recovery or extract the email.apk, copy and paste in system apps, overwrite the old one. Set permissions if needed, and reboot.

Lmao. Apparently its not in there. Perhaps its themed by one of the random XMLs in there or something. I'm not really sure. Somehow mine ended up blacked out but I definitely didn't flash a separate zip for it. Anyway got this for ya. http://db.tt/ucqUJVVw Travs inverted email. I can't seem to find a copy of it anywhere, the dev-host link is missing the file. I even wrote Scott the developer, but he's moved on and doesn't have it anymore either. I was really hoping to track down a copy of 6.5 if someone is willing to share, I'd be tremendously grateful

Thanks for checking though! Small world, we moved from Richmond down to Charlotte 6 years ago, and we're on our second Jetta TDI (only as some old lady pulled out in front of the first one).
Yeah, I might just have to bite the bullet and upgrade everything. After seeing everyone else's issues with having to upgrade firmware/kernal/hboot/radio/recovery just to get from 4.1.1 to 4.2.2, I was thinking I'd be happy enough just slapping the best 4.1.1 rom I could still find over my rooted and unlocked 3.18 AT&T HOX. But if I can't find one, then it might be a different story
I'll even toss a few bucks towards anyone that might still have cleanROM 6.5 zip sitting around!

hahahah that is funny. I run used motor oil in mine. I wouldn't recommend that on a TDI (turbo direct inject), but on the old indirect injection it'll consume anything that burns at temp under pressure. I rarely pay more than $8 to fill up, and get 330 miles per tank (with the rest being used motor oil.)
Carl makes it pretty simple to get on his TMO rom. Download the rom and the radio/kernel/FW flasher directly below it, and flash them in that order.. I didn't even do the radio and everything and it worked fine for the first 12 hours. then i went back and did the other thing and been fine since.
it's really painless. you do have to be s-off tho

OMG do you really??? I have no idea how to get it from you... But I'd really like to I can make the donation to Scott then in that case, I kinda felt bad asking him for it and then not making a donation to him (even if he couldn't find it anywhere). You're awesome! I've been emailing Scott about trying to fix his link for a couple of days. I thought yesterday that he said he didn't have 6.5 anymore. But when I wrote him just now about the random donation I just sent to him (as you said donate to him), he said that he found it and would fix his link. I'm sure he's ok with someone on here helping in mean time, so thank you to you sir! That is awesome that you still had the file and were able to jump in and help!
