Back Covers

I love the back cover if the infuse, but it just gets too hot. Any third party maybe metal back covers available? Kinda want to get rid of this flimy plastic.

Phone was released a little less than a week ago. their is really not any accessories for it.
maybe with in a month or so. i had the same issue with the atrix. not to many accessories for it and it was a few months old.
hit up ebay you might be able to find something there.

Gets to hot? Lol you should've tried the Atrix. Most horrible phone with heat ever!!

Just wait a bit for the Sedio extended battery. should be at least 3000Ma and will come with a back cover replacement. I am hoping it is soon!

i have the same problem that I also need a new battery/back cover for my infuse, but mine was broken into 3 halves, i've been searching in ebay and in google for a replacement and with no luck :-( hope anyone out there who have any idea where to get one post a reply in this thread

Lol they said they have no plan on doing an extended battery on the Infuse, Bella called them.

I called again today and they still say they have nothing available and nothing planned for a battery cover or battery. Hmm... Any evidence of the above? It's been 3 weeks since you posted the above and still nothing.

any news on back cover?

Anybody interested in a g2x with no screen bleeding? :-)

So after much debating I decided to finally get rid of my g2x since I've been using the sensation more and more. I was planning on selling it about a week ago but the vibration motor died out on me. Today I finally received my replacement from tmobile and to my big surprise the one I got has no light bleeding at all!! So I figured I would post it here right away before posting it on ebay seeing as pretty much everyone has been complaining about the issue.
I will upload some pictures later since im using the phone app right now. I still have the original box and everything that came with it plus two cases that ill throw in there for free.
Please pm me if interested

Not to hijack your thread but I finally got a replacement today also with no bleed and it seems to be fully functional. I'd be looking to sell also same price as this poster as to not to compete with any potential buyer from him. I only have 1 case from speck sold in Tmobile store(black) also have charging dock sold in Tmobile store. Will ship from Dallas TX. Have a PayPal verified account and my eBay account is flawless user name is iheartapplemacs

Good luck. I sold one of my G2X's here about 2 weeks ago and only got $260 for it. It was in mint condition with no bugs.

Yeah I would pay $200-250 for an extra G2x but no more really. It would be tempting at that price
I've been thinking about getting a backup one for a while now. *hint hint*

I bought mine on eBay for $255 plus shipping in excellent condition. The ones that were in mint condition only went for slightly (maybe $20) more. $300 would be the ultimate top end if you got super lucky.

I pretty much said $320 for negotiation purposes lol. Probably will end up going for around $300

Well I saw his post and figured I had two options make my own which would still be a form of hijacking...his then mine and if I undercut in mine I'd be screwing him... Or just post in his let him know my intent is to not compete but be equal so that they can both go. Thought it was the more mature approach. However it's always easy to see maturity doesn't go far on xda.

I honestly don't mind lol if people think you're giving them a better deal then that's their opinion and there's nothing I can do about it. Also if mine doesn't sell over here it'll sell on ebay or craigslist so I'm really not that worried about it

Not insured by sprint? I think the replace screens for around 50$ even without insurance don't quote me on it though that's what I "think"

I have insurance on mine and they actually replaced it for free... I am a valued customer who pays more than $400/month though so that could be why....

Yeah me and my wife both have upgrades but she don't want to get rid of her evo (don't ask me why, its a crappy phone) and I haven't seen anything worth upgrading to yet...

I would probably take it to Sprint, I just got mine replaced not to long ago because my front camera was on the fritz, so they said it was going to be 36 dollars for the replacement, I don't have insurance. But as I walked out the door, they never took money, and it wasn't on my bill... so score I guess.

My wife dropped her epic, worked fine for about a day while the screen slowly turned black. I took it to the Sprint store, they said it costs $35 (without insurance) to replace the whole top piece. They told me the part was on back order and it has been about 3 weeks and they have still not received the part.
This is her business line (self employed) and it would be nice to get her epic back up and running, so if anyone has an extra screen or bricked or bad esn epic for sale please let me know. OP might be interested too.

I dropped my HTC Aria off a balcony one night while enjoying some beverages and it broke into half a dozen pieces. I went online and filed a claim through Asurion's website. $50 later... I was sent a Samsung Infuse!
I was very happy... nice little upgrade for me!
Be careful, because if you file another claim within the same year... they will cancel your insurance and you will be SOL if it happens again... So only throw your phone at the wall once every year or so

Hmm.. well no flashing for you for a little while.. :/ Um.. I would recomend the Best Buy Black Tie plan next time.. you could always claim it stolen...

Actually just picked up a brand new Infuse for under 100 bucks. Back in business, Hopefully I can start development on my ROM pretty soon.

Haha yeahh I picked up a 17 dollar walmart body glove for mine. Served me very well so far

I threw a phone against a wall once (never argue with a woman over the phone). I was ready to pay full price for a new phone (because i was stupid). Since i had insurance on the phone the ATT guy told me to file a claim and report it as lost/stolen.. I did it and paid my $50 deductible and got a replacement phone.
I don't recommend to anyone to do this but if you have the insurance you may as well use it..

Anyone know if this will work with a receiver HDMI input vs direct to the HDMI on the TV? My setup has all my electronics in another room and I would love to hook this up via HDMI to my receiver and be able to "switch" to it as needed.

Yup. It works. That is what my brother did. We have too many wires and too little HDMI ports in the TV.
