I've been using DGB custom rom and it is awesome, but the only thing wrong is that I can't search Google by pressing the search button, I have Google search installed. Please help

on clean rom 4.0 i have a screen shot of it over on scrossler forums.....

Installed just as shown and no pop up option

To anyone wondering why the flash don't work its because its for the Intl version and its mounting the wrong partition. Ur playing with fire if you flash that. This one is safe to flash on our phone https://rapidshare.com/files/2234282553/POPUP_BROWSER.zip

OP link is for international. The one above works. Cool stuff for sure, I just don't know when I'll want to use it. Lol. I'll wait and see...

Wolfpack had it right. I "played with fire" but no harm done. Flashed the second link and it works properly. I find the popup useful for Facebook or Twitter news article links.

I just extracted the file from the Synergy JB ROM and installed it on CleanROM n have had no issues at all

What I can't figure out is how to launch this browser all the time. So far I can only do it by clicking other links while I'm not in the browser

EDIT: Nevermind I found it and for some reason the xda link wasn't working before and now it is.

You don't need to struggle with apps. Just open regular browser and open "www.google.com'' and from the menu button, "add shortcut to home screen"
Everytime click on this bookmark it will ask to open with popup and will automatically open google. thats how I use it.

OK so I flashed it and installed the invoker app and I can't get it to work. I cleared defaults of my browser but it doesn't show up in the popup menu to select which application I want to use. Does this only work on TW roms? I am on ParanoidAndroid 2.51.

Just works on tw roms......

The default notification drawer in CM10 A4 does not allow you to add widgets. Here you can.

Actually, it's better to pack/ use stock email rather than Gmail... It's because there's an extra wakelock in it.. With stock email, you can sync all your Gmail, hot mail, yahoo or whatever into one. Just my 2 cents...
