Google Play Services..

Hey guys, I am not able to install ''Google Play Services'' app..
When I tried to install it via PlayStore I got this error(see the screen shot.)

Have you installed Gapps? If not, install Gapps for your ROM.

Yeah..ROM already have gapps installed...

Then you should have a Google Play Services and it should update on Google Play.

I already tried to install it through PlayStore...
But not working..
So now I will try to change the ROM....

Usually Google Play Services not installed manually, than only update when is a new version.

But when I installed it manually in janas ROM it worked....
But why it its not working in Sabotage v1.8....??

I never used the Sabotage and I do not know why.

Yes...
I already logged in into PlayStore via google account.
I'm not able to sign in into YouTube account only.
And it's only due to that Google Play Services.

wts the use of google play services ???

It is required with the latest version of YouTube for signing in..
Means you can't sign in into YouTube without this app...
And new version of YouTube is much faster than the older versions. So I don't want to revert back to older version.

Google Plus App on P500

I can't install g+ app on my p500 anymore. I tried on CM 10.1.6, 10.2 and 11, but same iusse: "Plaese re-install app" or FC.
Yesterday I came back on CM 10.1.6 (4.2.2) after a week on CM11, so clean installation, full wipe. In system/ there is 45MB and in /data 56 MB
Before december, on CM 10.1.6 g+ works fine. I try to install old buil app, but not lucky.
Anyone has same issue?

I installed it from play store and apk too. Error appears on starting app (G+ or photo).

Link2SD. I install app without link2SD, same issue.

Stange but only me have this bug?

I have this bug too. I think it's because of the new version... It isn't working for me neither on CM11 nor 10.1

I'm having this bug since the dec 2013 update.. its reassuring to know that its not a problem with my phone since more people have been reporting this. hope the next update fixes it. My screenshot says the same. The app FCs immediately after launch. i did clean re-installs multiple times on internal as well as on SD card.
Now i'm using the web version!!

Get the apk of an old version. Its works fine

Which version would u recommend? Just let me know which version works for u & I'll download it too.

Still doesn't work!!
App crashes & says it is improperly installed. I reinstalled on phone as well as on SD & got same crash.

Any link that doesn't take you to a site that requires you download 'their' rouge torjan software after navigating 46 pop up windows to actually get the zip file ?
Even the mirrors give you links to rouge .exe files and installgenio.dmg file on a mac. Seriously suspect .....

Yep maybe because I'm on a mac but as soon as I click on that link it takes me to a page where I click download and it attempts to download a programme called "installgenieo.dmg". On a PC I would be wary if I were you (run a malware check) because it may have downloaded something your unaware of. (it can't run self executables on a mac hence the dmg installer).

this is where the link / mirror takes me.
Click on download and it installed the dmg and then opens this window.
I am not installing a rouge dmg just to get a zip file. Even the page tells you its basically hijacking your browsers home page.

How do you install these if you're not rooted?
Extracting the APK files and clicking on them gives me an "App not installed" error. I'm on 4.4.2.

Downloading now, @nookcoloruser untick the "use our download manager software" stuff to bypass the spam/trojan info

Install on X-NOTE 11,
Don´t work, only get massive FC of standart samsung apps & serveces.
Restoring from nandroid buckup.

The useful apps were Notes and Sketch.
I kinda tried the sony xperia home, live flow wallpaper and wallpapers but i didnt like it.
Now i have this on my battery usages stats.

And yeah. I already deleted home.apk from my system but its still there. I wonder why. I might reflash again tomorrow or later. I get easily annoyed with this.

Hey, i've noticed that sometimes my full speed internet is used by some app, so i installed apps that can show me which app is downloading and it's os services (also called android os in other apps) as u see in pic

I had quite same issues but after rooting my device, i Debloated most of the unwanted system apps (approx 1GB bloats removed) thru TWRP. Now everything is pretty good. You can try to flash zip modded by me on :

If I'm not wrong, it's downloading or searching for software updates.

Well so today i noticed that it downloaded more than 114mb for just today! And it's still downloading just stopped it by starting a vpn it may make the downloading service confused lol and it did i don't think it's downloading update there is no update and it won't download if i don't give it premissions .. it's not a nice number if it downloads through mobile data ..

samsung music app help

hello i have a Samsung tab s 1 running android 6.0.1 and am trying to install the latest music player i updated to the latest app update using my Samsung s6 edge i have made a copy of the music app using es file explorer & it will not let me install the new music app update on my tab s how can i install it on my tab s with out girting this error thanks

So how come I found the s8 music player on here's and that install works but other ones will not ??

i would try and install a different one first. might not be compatible with the device you are trying to install it in.

I now remember where I got it origins the gallery apps app can no longer find it tho on there any one else see it?

tab have lower android version so
you cant install the app on it
or app package got corrupt

Ok thanks found a back up I made a while ago
When tab 1st got mm 6.0.1 I was able to download the music app off the play store I can no longer do that tho as it's a newer version on play that dose not support my tab s lucky I made a back up of it after all ??
