HoneyComb LiveWallpaper/Bootanimation

ok so here is a little trick to getting the new honeycomb boot animation as a live wallpaper.
1.go download and install this app

then put the folder i made on the root of your SD card then select it and bam you'll have the honeycomb boot animation as your live wallpaper.
edit im gonna upload the file as a zip unpack the file and place the folder on you sd then select the folder in the live wallpaper creator app

here ya go bud
you cant flash this zip cause i dont know how to sign them so you can use root explorer and copy this zip folder to system/media and paste it there NOTE im running CM7 so the bootanimation might be in a different spot on a sense based rom

if i will provide you with better pictures folder (honeycomb boot animation), can you make it again? because resolution on your live wallpaper is to much vertical
i can give u ready folder with 47 pictures better quality...
(i try to fix it by my self, but that app (live wallpaper creator) didn't work with android 2.3

thats weird im running 2.3 and it works but yea if you wanna send the files to me ill redo them

MiLocker [MIUI Lockscreen for all ROM]

HI,
i found the MiLocker app.
it can apply a lockscreen for all phones, stock/rooted/CM or whatever rom/FW it doesnt matter

There are some troubles, as at times it doesnt work that well, and it keeps showing the original lockscreen fora a sec, but overall has a lot of themes, and its good.

Remove .jpg or .png from your wallpaper and put it in sdcard/MIUI/wallpaper/
Then choose it

Just found it out by myself You don't need to remove .jpg or .png, just place it in the wallpaper folder

Yeah, this is only for HDPI.
Should mention in the first post or in the thread tittle.
Applied a theme and than couldnt unlock my phone anymore since the unlock button was somewhere where the phone couldn't show. Had to reboot it.
I think this would save a lot of time to people who are not on HDPI.

Agonn did you try any theme from Miui lockscreen thread? I have phone as you but can't test it right now... Look for the other milocker thread here and there's a link to theme thread.

Long click in home key opens-up torch for quick access.

As I said, this is probably not good for MDPI phones.
It works but you can't use it since the themes are all for HDPI phones, and if you choose the wrong theme, you will have too reboot your phone in order to enter.

If you go to settings, it's clearly written that you can press back key + volume up to unlock if something goes wrong.

TouchWiz UX and SGS3 Widgets

Hi all!
I didn't port this, all credit goes to 'Smando' (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1666384). I just modified the update-binary and script for our device to work properly.

Here is the newest (1.6beta3) version. To make appdrawer icon work, change 'Apps icon position' in UXSettings (You can change it back to 5 later, it needs at least one change to show up.). Since this is the launcher of SGS3, it works well with the widget of SGS3 Music Player.

Just flashed it, it's beautiful, and can finally sort apps automatically ! Is there any chance of a CWM zip to remove old tw and widgets so that they don't bloat the phone ?

'eaglerazor123' is already working on a custom rom! :good: He removes all bloatware and includes this.

1st threee images are of 5x5, i am using it,
and 4th is 4x4, my friend *Gearbox87x* is using it !!:laugh:
5x5 looks good for our phone, you know big screen, so i suggest you 5x5

[MOD] SecLauncher2 Rotation, Wallpaper Scrolling Enable

THIS IS TOUCHWIZ LAUNCHER MODDED BY ME FOR EVERY ONE.
INSTRUCTION:
Download and Save to Phone the File Below (SecLauncher2)
Download RootExplorer and Run (Accept Permission)
Locate the File and Copy it to the System Folder (Make sure to tick RW to RO)
After copying, Set the permission to rw--r--r
Then Move it the app folder (System/app)
Then if it ask for replacement then just proceed.
After moving reboot Phone then Enjoy.
Note: For those ROM whose SecLauncher2 is located in the preload folder then just follow my instructions above except putting the file into the System/app folder. Instead Copy or Move it to preload/symlink/system/app folder.

It is not stretched. It is the perfect resolution for it. The reason why you think it looks like it is stretched is the Wallpaper Scrolling tweak.

hello, I wanna share my little hobby, simple mod only, hope u like
I'm working on Superbean ROM v1.3.1 files, so this MOD will work flawlessly if you already on root, deodexed, XXLT4, preload system app files, have CSC folder/files, AND 320 DPI.
TW Launcher + accuWeatherWidget + GoogleSearchWidget from S4
4x4 home grid size, like galaxy s4/note 2. (menu grid size is default)
auto rotate 360
wallpaper scrolling + page looping OFF (so it will look nice), for page looping OFF you MUST have CSC folder/files
page count until 9
layout accuwetherwidget looks different but still looks nice, I'll update next time
Flashbarservice
white theme like galaxy S4 with best size
Stock Keyboard
white theme in all condtion
enable secondary symbol -- you MUST have CSC folder/files
Setting Menu
white theme
unfortunately it still has Superbean Addons menu, so if your ROM isn't Superbean it will make FC when you click the Superbean Addons menu
Solution :
create your own white setting, I'll show for guide below, or
remove it from menu: learn from majdinj great tutorial HERE, or
install all Apps that on Superbean Addon
Contact + Phone
contact image from galaxy S4
Messaging
contact image + bubble with best padding/space for textview from galaxy S4 too
Lockscreen
auto rotate 360
Galaxy S4 Clock on left position, left position only for Clock, Date, and Charge Text.
All stuff above is my own mod. I made it carefully, so if still has bug please tell me except bug of translation/language

New stock P0laris 0ffice full from s4, new Samsung Apps (I got this from galaxy note II themes and apps section)
Video Player with live thumbnail Preview (this is not my mod, I got from Alliance ROM)
High res stock wallpaper galaxy note 8
How to install:
- Backup your original File
- flash file zip below from CWM
- for polaris office and samsung apps just install
Some Tips:
1. for backup, copy my zip file to another folder on your computer and replace all things inside with yours (preload / non preload system will has different location), so if everything goes wrong, you can easly restore by flashing your original file
2. if you don't want to use all things above, just remove file FROM ZIP that you don't want install
example:
lockscreen - /system/framework/framework-res.apk
videoplayer - /preload/symlink/system/app/videoplayer.apk AND all inside /system/lib/*
keyboard - /preload/symlink/system/app/samsungIME.apk
etc.
3. if you're non preload system apps
compare all my files inside the zip with yours original file.
example:
if your AccuWeatherWidget.apk has location in /system/app/ then move my file AccuWeatherWidget.apk to /system/app like yours.
etc
4. if you come from another stock ROM 4.1.2, you can try and tell me always do backup first!

with multiwindow, ex:
1. launch Messaging app from multiwindow,
2. launch Browser app from multiwindow,
then try to write, it will show the floating keyboard :fingers-crossed:

I don't know, but I guess not.
you can try to modify yourself, I found THIS guide to enable Auto Correct.

Why don't you mod it for next update? Because Samsung keyboard isn't perfect without auto correction. Some more my laptop spoiled. Can't do anything. Lol.

open /system/csc/others.xml then remove line :

save and restart
