White tf300t in stores? - Transformer TF300T Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anyone know when the white 300 will be sold in stores and not just online?

I've seen it in store in France, can't believe it'd be out here first...

It's been in stores in Finland for months now, I bought my white one 2 months ago now

Bought mine here in Luxembourg recently, white was the only colour they had

nice well here in the states you can get both the blue and red in stores but the white is always a special online order.

I saw White color version of both TF300T and TF300G in Singapore when I bought my TF300G. I choose the Blue one because I live in highly polluted country and not to mention dusty, which will make the white color looks dirty.

I'm from Poland and i buy my white Tf300t+ dock station one month ago normal without problems. They have in stock

see i couldnt wait to get mine so i went to the store and bought it the other day but my intentions are to return it and get a white one the real deciding factor was that as of tomorrow the store i bought it from is running a special to get a 50 dollar gift card if i bought it so thatll pay for a nice sd card to go with my new white 300

Haven't paid any import fees yet because it was shipped with FedEx.They normally pay any import fees on your behave and then send you a bill later.Shipping cost around 35 pounds and it arrived in like 2 days(best morning ever:victory and this was all done on ebay.
if i bought a tf700 from the usa and imported to the uk apart from the " and the @ buttons being swapped around is there any other problems like the play store being the usa version or ota updates ?

Imported mine from amazon.de for £496. That includes VAT and shipping but was without the dock.
If you can find a post forwarding company to send a parcel from Ireland to UK Komplett.ie have a very competitive price right now - 64GB with dock for €679, that works out roughly at £540. The dock is an "international" keyboard which is the US layout (no £ or € keys).
Got mine from amazon US first week it came out, had it shipped to a friends villa who was on holiday there. Had it home with me 4 days later for £414.00
Thats 32gb model dock, case and 32gb sd.

Forget that ^^ Just read reviews on them , and thye are supposed to be pretty dodgy
Well it was until first week using it when connecting the dock it snapped the charging port, so now cant use the dock and having to insert charger very carefully due to pins being able to short against each other.
Tried to rma but its not covered by warranty they say and they cant give me a price to repair until i rma it stating i understand i will have to pay, .... but how much?
Funny there tablet , correct dock and its my fault.
I have the tf300 with dock and no issues with that one.

I was just about to order my tf700 from Simply Electronics when I spotted this thread which I am glad I read. My problem now is where do I buy one from now, I have looked on Ebay and I see sellers from America and Taiwan selling the 32gb at a good price, has anyone bought one this way if so can they recommend a seller to me please.

Well I bit the bullet and ordered from them anyway. After closer inspection there were lots of negative reviews but positive ones also. As you those with an axe to grind tend to be more vocal.
Fingers crossed I'll get mine trouble free , if not I paid on my credit card so I'm covered.

Snap I ordered mine to, I paid by paypal so fingers crossed all goes ok for both of us.
I will post here when I get mine will you do the same.
Whats the extra customs price they charge on these guys?
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using Tapatalk 2
Customs will charge you price + shipping x 10% for duty.
They will then add 20% to the new total as VAT
So you are looking at roughly 32% that the thieving bastards will add if they open your package. It's the risk you take and it can make a 450 pound deal cost 595 pounds in real money.
You take the risk and you could get away with it.
wow thats shocking

Amazon replaced.

I must say, im very pleased with Amazons replacment\refund policy, my new tf700t is on is way. Mine currently is experiencing a random line through the screen when doing online reading ( not very often but enough to piss me of on a 500 dollar device) and the screen is starting to pop up around the bottom edge. So I talked with Amazon's customer service and they are very pleasant, and got the replacement on it's way and I get to use this one till it arrives. Pretty sweet deal all without leaving my chair sure am glad I didn't unlock my boot loader!!!

Yoop!
Can't beat Amazons 30 day thing.
Glad I got my previous tablet from them (ACER A700 overheating.)
I requested a return on the 30th day of ownership and got the credit for it.
Paid $12.00 for expedited shipping, used my points and paid $459.00 for my Infinity!
I was ecstatic...
Glad you're happy again Russell!

I thought you meant Amazon was replaced as the #1 online retailer or something!
But anyway, its good to know Amazon honors its return policies with lenience. I usually go with BestBuy but their stock and selection is always so limited!

This is what they want, video of the issues: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1953258
They are aware of the issues but need some users to post to gain some visibility of the issues we have had since the Jb update.

I concur. I was able to return mine that I dropped onto a concrete floor after one week of ownership. I fibbed a little, but they didn't question it. Heck, I didn't even have to speak to a rep. All online.

How much is a dock really worth?

I'm really itching to get a dock, but from what I've read is a tablet + dock shouldn't be more than $150. Problem is I was thinking of trying to trade an iPod 3rd Gen for one. I've no clue of the value of the iPod or what gb it is though.
Sent from my Transformer TF101 using xda premium
Check eBay and local prices.
The tablet with dock is going for $250+ on eBay, consistantly, not $150+ - check the prices and perhaps use a price-tracker app. You might get a better deal on Craigslist since people often use that to try to make a quick sale.
Sent from my Transformer TF101 using xda app-developers app
Checked Craigslist but I live in Mississippi and can't find a dock even in surrounding states for some reason. I've got a tablet, bought it last year on sale so I don't need that. I read a few posts saying $150, guess they were wrong as I'm seeing non working tabs for $100
Sent from my Transformer TF101 using xda premium
Usually you can get the dock refurbished from stores around 90-120$... but all the stores seem to be out of stock now.
Alright I guess I'll see if I can sell this iPod at a pawnshop and see if they'll give me enough for a dock.
Sent from my Transformer TF101 using xda premium
You should be able to get just the dock for about $99, I think.
Sent from my Transformer TF101 using xda app-developers app
I wish this forum still had a marketplace. I literally haven't used my dock in 3 or 4 months (I just charge it up once in a while to keep the battery healthy). It's in good shape and I even still have the box.
I guess what I'm getting at is pm me if you are interested in possibly buying from another xda member.

Dead pixel and Screen Click

Got my TF700 about a week ago. It has since developed a dead pixel in the middle left of the screen. It also has started clicking if you apply pressure on the right bevel.
Are these worth exchanging the tablet over? If so, should I RMA it or exchange/return at the store I bought it at?
