Smart app updates is a new feature of Google Play that introduces a better way of delivering app updates to devices. When developers publish an update, Google Play now delivers only the bits that have changed to devices, rather than the entire APK. This makes the updates much lighter-weight in most cases, so they are faster to download, save the device’s battery, and conserve bandwidth usage on users’ mobile data plan. On average, a smart app update is about 1/3 the size of a full APK update.

Yeah, but I didn't quite believe this was something which could be automated. Because they really have to compare the two packages to see what's changed, which, at least to a n00b like me, sounds like lots of work. If it is an automated process, though, it's awesome

Well bro, we have the same phone on the same build of the same OS.....sounds like user error to me. You can't just click on the apk to install it, follow my instructions word for word. My screenshots show it working.

Thanks man....I'm a fan too..not because I think they're a good bang for the buck product, but they sound good and are sexy as fawk! I've been anti-Beats cause the price is so bloated, there's alot of cans out there that sound better for less....but I've yet to find one that sounds as good AND is as sexy for less.

well after downloading,( 5.1MB ) i moved it to system/app via root explorer with permissions set to r/w
reboot, and i still cant get it to install

This is the latest Razr M camera app. Complete with with face detection. Oooo... Ahhh...
I have tested it on my official CM9 skyrocket build, and the boys in the atrix 2 forums have tested on their unofficial CM10 builds, so it should work for our jelly bean builds as well. Enjoy folks.

On CM10 nightly, 1080p video recording doesn't work, other than that it seems to work fine, 720p video and picture taking works.
Very nice camera! Works great on AOKP Jellybean.
are the camera shots the same quality as cm10 camera :S?.... im not sure if its me... but they look very grainy...

This just replaced Ucam as my lockscreen go to. Takes very crispy pics, seems to be better than the stock, I prefer the full screen viewfinder look this has and it opens quickly from the lockscreen on AOKP Oct2.

Here's my first theme so be nice
I didn't like the look of the original Swype keyboard and really really missed the look of Sense 4.0 so I decided to theme Swype like that. This is what came of it:

This mod does not include the Swype.apk since it is considered warez and is against XDA policy to redistribute those files. As such, you must currently have Swype installed on your device and flash the .zip in recovery. This will work on TouchWiz and AOSP ROMs and should work on all versions of Swype as long as your device is XHDPI. More resolutions and colors will be supported in the future.

Reboot into recovery
Flash swype-sense4.zip
Reboot and enjoy

Couldn't add the apk because it violates XDA's terms and conditions. The sense 4 room isn't a task I would like to do alone since it would probably take a lot of work and give me a really big headache lol.

Nah it's not PopStyle. The theme was however inspired by PopStyle and Vicino's themes (mainly apollo) but images are from the Venom ROM theme by fisha
It's in the GalaxyMod ROM. You can extract the files from there.

What is your Swype.apk named as? If it's anything other than "Swype.apk" this will not work. I have a feeling your app is called "com.swype.nuance.apk" or something like that...

One of them worked and it doesn't have infinite scrolling.
I don't know what your doing wrong but I got it to work no problem. Scroll through the themes and apps section and you'll find one that works. You'll probably have to place the apk and the libs in their correct spots and fix permissions.

OK, this is what I did. I uninstalled Touchwiz with Titanium, Weather widgets, and flashed the link that lingowistico gave me. Rebooted, no infinite scrolling.
I don't know what to tell ya man, maybe fix permissions? I've always had it with the infinite scrolling, stock or aosp. Maybe fix permissions? Anything in the system lib that isn't rw-r-r should be that.

It works but the dpi is screwing around. I also tried changing DPI to 240 but I always had 240, no difference. It does have infinite scrolling though.

You could drop the system DPI to whatever you want and use xposed to change the launcher itself.

Facebook Home the new Facebook Launcher....
Thanks to theos0o for this, this version works on both rooted and non-rooted devices, chat heads working on Messenger app.
I just tested and uploaded files to another host.
Instructions:
1.Uninstall the facebook app and messenger app too if you have it installed already.
2.Install Facebook, Messenger and Home as normal apks.
3.Open facebook goto settings and check enable facebook home(if a prompt doesn't come automatically when you open facebook).
4.Press home button and select Home.
5.Enjoy!!!!
Note: If you experience any troubles boot into recovery and do a dalvic wipe.
Everything works, at least for me.:thumbup:

It is kinda good but only facebook everywhere! No widgets, no good lockscreen blah blah. Just Uninstalled it!

Same here but i liked the concept of chat heads.wish someone comes up with a messaging app based on chat heads concept.That would be cool.

Did you Uninstall the previous facebook apps???
What error are you getting???
Try a dalvic wipe if you followed the steps in the OP correctly.

I uninstalled previous app.. the message i am getting is install facebook app.. which redirects me to play store..
about wiping dalvik cache i m on cm10.1 rebooting phone is a distant dream for me

There is a sequence. You should Install facebook first, then home, and at last messenger.

There is no sequence as long as all the three apps are installed.

I told that Cuz when I installed home first and then the fb app, it didn't work at all. Just black screen!
