Thanks

You can download the AdAway app in market, if you are rooted, or searching in google for every app you have installed recently.

Thanks I will try this.
Addons Detector or AirPush Detector will tell you which app/theme/etc. is responsible.

I heard that google did something about that. It was carried by an app(s) that you downloaded. Apparently, they told the app devs to take them off in a certain timeframe, or else they'll be removed from the play store. And ad blocker apps, that I know of, can't block those ads either. At least, adfree doesn't.

It's true, but with adaway you can select the option "scan for adaware". It' simple, it can tell you the adware app or apps you have installed. The second solution is usin rom toolbox with the option autostart manager and find the app. Then you must long press the app, go to advanced and disable some receivers of the app. For example "Airmob". This isn't very simple, but with a few try you can stop these annoying ads in the statusbar. I did this with Mosquito killer and now it works. Usually it FC when it must send you an ad in the statusbar, but the app works fine.

You can always go to applications > running and close them one by one to see which one it is

I know you tried a detector. Did you try Airpush Detector? That one had never failed me.
Tried that one, shows nothing.

Bump, also getting same ad. Tried every detector out there... Not picking up a thing!

That's it... most of it are from legit companies or Google... no idea what this could be from!
Also, the ads are for apps from the playstore - "sexy cutie (live)" and "run run bear" (both of which appear to be made by the same developer).
Thanks for your help!
It may be widgetlocker, try to uninstall it and see if you get it again

Same here, intermittent but annoying.
choosing the notification takes you to the Google play app page
Edit:
Might be GoKeyboard, I think it started after i turned it on.

Are you sure? I have widget locker on my Droid x and my kindle fire and I don't get spam.
sexy cutie - spam
I don't have that widgetlocker, but I receive this spam,
Did anyone solve the issue??? I have uninstalled GO SMS Pro, but seems like something else making it appear in the notification bar...
Go to the Play Store and download Lookout's Ad Detector. It should scan your apps and tell you.
+1

I am guessing the same, could be Go Launcher or Go Keyboard. Coz i also have them installed.
Absolutely Go Keyboard. I used Addons Detector - Notification Monitor, and it showed:
GO Keyboard

Too bad, now I have to delete all GO-stuff..
it's crazy. I have been using go-team apps for a long time and I had never thought that they can do such a thing. Thanks for that sad info

Welp, Bye bye go... eat my ass.

Hi, im developing an app called LightWeight Facebook Notifications, if you don't want official facebook app and receive instant notifications.
I posted here for who want use and testing and tell me any kind of bug or suggestion.
Fow now, only notify your wall activity and related, no message or friend request.
The app use push notification and it will not use any extra battery life, it uses almost no data and it does not run in the background constantly.
Thanks!

Nice app. I just have a couple suggestions: 1) Consolidate the notifications into one and add a UI for displaying them rather than one app notification for each FB notification. 2) Add an option to ignore FB app requests/notifications.
Edit: It appears to not notify for private messages, wall posts, or tags.
Guys,
I have installed FLCommando from Google Play store.
HTML:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glu.modwarsniper&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5nbHUubW9kd2Fyc25pcGVyIl0.
Each time I restart my device many annoying notifications appearing in the notification bar. Is there any way to get rid of this messages...??
Thanks

Hi everyone, have you seen this notification app Reqallable?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.reqall.wearable.android&hl=en_GB
http://www.reqallable.com/
It looks bloody good and it's free.
The only problem is, is that it's US only and I'm in England
I've emailed the devs and they say they're not planning a UK release.
I was wondering if someone would install and post the apk please?
Cheers

After all that I really don't think it's as good as Watchnotifier by Clemens Elflein.
This quest for a good notification app is making me look forward to the Google watch - they'll get it right

So far those looks cool. Does the email work with POP3 accounts? If so, is the setup done where it says IMAP?

Is it possible to dismiss notifications on phone from the watch with watchnotifier?
Sent from my C6903 using Tapatalk
Yes. Watchnotifier is much more configurable too.
It's much better than reqallable. If you set a reminder in Google now the reminder comes up in your watch which is good. You can configure watchnotifier to push notifications from any app to your watch.
I wouldn't be without it.

Hey guys be nice together.. I understand everyone has their different opinions.. If you don't like the update you can unistall Google app it is system app..
If you have root download system app remover > grant access > unistall Google.. You can find older version on Internet just Google it.. If you want to install previous version..

understood, and you're right - so perhaps I across a bit harsh on my initial reply, so I apologize to bigv5150 for that.
however, my point was that I really enjoy the google search launcher, just don't like the latest update with the all white search bar nor the all white app drawer - and just wanted to share that with others and see if there was a way to make them transparent again. fortunately, I found the solution in the Xposed GEL app - which of course, requires the Xposed module installed, which also requires root.
after installing the xposed gel app, I was able to remove the search bar all together and change the app drawer background color scheme.

You can uninstall the update putting it back to the version you had before the update. That's what I did. You keep the previou search bar. That's what I said, don't read more into it.
