Gmapps thinks I'm in Pucking, Austria! - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

so i was having some fun with mock locations on goggle maps and changed my location to a place called Pucking in Austria (infantile i know but a laugh is a laugh. i had done this using Fake GPS Location (play store link) no my phone while out and about.
now both my phone and tablet both seem to think I'm in Austria! Any longer and i might start replacing the P with an F!!
Now carrying out a stringent set of experiments i am able to report I am still in fact just outside Manchester in the UK (i looked out the window: it's raining. most of the signposts are in english and when I buy anything the money i use has the queen on it!)
Any idea on how i can fix this?
cheersmadeers and have a great weekend
A

Clear app data for the mock location app and, mainly for safety sake, g maps as well. Reboot, again, to be through, and I would image you'll be back to singing "Hail to the Queen", versus making statements such as "achtung!".

Disable mock gps locations, uninstall the Fake gps location (in case it keeps popping up in background), reboot phone, turn wifi/3g on and gps. That should lock it where you are.

My app IDIALIT

Good morning and Good evening to all.( depending on your location lol)
My application " IdIalit " was created a few months back and i have previously shared it with you guys but i wanted to re post it incase new members have joined.
My friend and I put in hundreds of hours into making this app and I think almost everyone can benefit from using it.
Basically what this app does is instead of you calling a major company and getting frustrated trying to navigate their options to get a human being on the line - our app does all that for YOU. Just pick a company from our list and watch our app call that company, press all the required digits till you the user are in the queue for a representative and from there you just wait till someone answers the phone.
I want to point out that there is no trick that we used to accomplish this. We literally sat there and called each company on our list and tried and tried all the possible combinations till we got it right.
Here is a link to our app. I hope you guys use it and enjoy it.
Thank You

Can someone make sense of my data usage?

So I after a long time saw what apps were consuming data on my phone and its rather disturbing what I saw. This is one month's figures.

Why on earth is talkback using that much data when I dont even have the service enabled??
Next up is nova launcher prime. I did grant it permission to collect data but that much in just a month??
Next up is beautiful widgets, again why on earth does a weather app need to use that much data??
Next up is clean master, I dont even use it that much so how could it be using that much data?
The last one is actually the most shocking one "MultiTouch tester" app because I havent even opened that app in like months.
Is it really normal for apps that gather data to do it that much in a month? Not only does it seem a problem with privacy but also with battery life under wifi. Remember all of these apps have many downloads and great ratings on the play store so its not a case of them being shoddy apps.
What is your opinion on all this?

[APP][2.3+] Fake gps location

Hey everybody,
Sorry about my English..
Recently I started learning how to develop apps for android, So the first challenge I set for myself is to build an app that could fake my gps location.
I know that this is not an original idea and that there is a lot of apps that do the same thing in the play, but I did it to train myself.
So, this is the result, I'd love to hear your comments and insights.

Thank you very much
Hi there
I have questions on the setting:
1. What would be the appropriate setting to the "move around fake location"
part sothat it will look as close as it is legit gps done its action.
2. What about the update interval, alltitude, accuracy, etc. What should I
fill this number with sothat I can achieve a real close to legit situation?
3. Does this apps only working as like human on foot/walking condition with
the gps turned on? As I see the result is always crossing the building etc.
Without knowing there are things there in the gps path.
4. Is there any timer feature? As like when the moving around fake location
will be actively turn on and turn off meaning at night most likely people
is sleeping, so it shouldnt be keep on moving around...
Thanks and let me know
a good application , but in my opinion not very good layout of control buttons

The app in use must have these
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION
ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION
ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION
permissions.
On phone's Android you must have location turned on. More info here:
Manage your Android device’s location settings - Google Account Help
You can use location-based services such as getting better local search results, like commute predictions and nearby restaurants based on your phone’s location, when you turn location on in settings
