Any specs to share on what TouchWiz 4 does?
from what i've seen of TW4 all it does is make the phone look more like the IPHONE crappy square icons. Sorry I don't want an iphone for a reason. And I Def don't want an Android phone that looks like an Iphone.

Actually, I've tried the TW4 launcher on my Fascinate and it's amazing. Super smooth(smoother than TW3). I don't care if it "looks" like an iPhone. I know it isn't and it only has very minimal similarities IMO.

Are you serious?? There's like no way you are gonna screw up your phone putting a custom rom on it....especially with Odin, your phone is almost impossible to brick. But answering your question, I think launcher pro. easiest to use and customise for me. Also feels the fastest and looks the best. Your phones is still gonna lag like a little b*itch though. I'm telling you, the difference is huge.

Well there is no best one. Its ur opinion. There's Valhalla, if u want a variety of lockscreens, ICBINB, if u want a ROM as smooth as butter and Audiophile, well...the name says it all

That's too funny. Remember anything is possible. But I agree even after my failed first round attempt at flashing a ROM and leaving my phone with nothing but the Samsung screen unbricking it wasn't beyond reasonable.
As far as the topic is concerned I have always been an ADW fan. My GF doesn't want a modded phone but by adding ADW she has been able to theme the phone and give it a new look. I find ADW to be very stable, reliable, and has many themes.
So now we're on ICS, rooted, ready to roll, and I'm trying to get the stink of TouchWiz off my phone a bit.
With Apex launcher, AOSP gallery, CM9 Music, etc things aren't looking so bad, but I'd really like to get the AOSP dialer/contacts in there. Anyone have an easy way to do that?
That would pretty much leave the app drawer as the only eyesore that doesn't fit, and we can fix that with themes pretty soon.

I have to admit - coming in with a history of Sense-based phone, I miss quite a few things about Sense - the email program, the calendar widget, etc. If there was a Sense-based ROM, I'd be all over that.
And before you point out K9 mail, don't bother. It isn't even close to the default Sense email app.
If my memory services me right then sense is a HTC thing and you can't get sense on other phones. That's what I think it is

Yup, just look at Beautiful Widgets. They pulled their app from the Market for months after getting a Cease & Desist from HTC. This was a few years ago, but it's still applicable.
My biggest gripe is that I can't seem to find a custom ROM that has everything - stability, a good calendar widget (that works and doesn't FC my entire launcher), and the better version of the stock email app (the one with the "peak" period settings)... Sense has all of that and more. *sigh*

I LOVE Sense but I haven't had an HTC phone for about a year, this has tied me over enough.
As for the clock, I use Beautiful Widgets with a free skin to get the Sense 4 clock, the only difference is the numbers don't flip.

I've forgot about maluuba. Have they integrated a holo type theme yet? I always hated the wp7-esque interface. It's clean, but kinda clashes with android.
Function wise it is very good, even in its early beta.
