Picspeed Wallpaper Error - Asus Transformer TF700

I use picspeed to set my wallpaper and it works once or twice in a row setting wallpaper but then it throughs an error "Our program has run out of memory or encountered an error. Do you want to try setting the wallpaper using other apps? You can also try not using the original image"
Has anyone encountered this issue or any ideas. Picspeed used to work great on the Prime...
Thanks

ADW EX

This works fantastic, disabled the dock and currently running 10 rows 7 columns
Asus weather widget looks standard size.
The bookmarks widget looks fantastic the larger use make it, you just get more on the screen.
Totally awesome IMO well worth the money.

1.3 and above is what you're looking for. Previous versions doesn't have support for high density screens so the 5 icon dock will be squished in the center, 1.3 addresses this.
I've tryed all the transition animations and *curve* is the best non lag one out of the bunch. No matter how many widgets it just wont slow the butter smooth scrolling.

Can you post a screen shot? I'm just currious as to what the pros are for using this over stock?

Big pro's for me:
supports scrollable widgets
supports resizable widgets
Adjustable collumns and rows, currently running 9 x 7
more screens currently have 6
It scrolls fantastic, 100 times better than stock
3D transition affects
If the icon at the top left is bugging you? ask the developer! contacted them about various issues over the months and they always reply.
i installed adw ex 1.3.2 but cannot set it as default launcher. After installation when i hit the home icon there is no popup to let me choose launcher seems like it is not registered as a launcher..... i am not rooted......firmware is .13..... do i need to root to replace the stock launcher?
Experts please advise.

I assume you just go to settings > manage applications, then find launcher and press clear defaults, then press home and it should ask you.

Don't think its possible to just get rid of it. It looks like honeycomb places the app icon on the corner for some apps. The only way I can think of is to unpack the apk, put in a transparent icon, or change how it looks. Either way you do it though will reflect in the drawer also. Since this is a launcher though and it auto launches it might not matter that it will be an invisible icon. If it bothered me enough then I could just hide the app i guess.

[Q] ADW EX - Wallpaper shifting
Does anyone know how to stop the wallpaper from shifting? It seems to happen after turning off the screen or coming out of an app. It's driving me up the wall. I even downloaded some 2560x1600 wallpapers that people suggested to use and it still happens.
And on a side note selecting the option for the wallpaper to scroll doesn't do anything (in ADWsettings).
I love the ability to resize widgets but this wallpaper problem is making me go crazy

Not sure if that's related but when I installed GoLauncher my wallpaper also shifted. Even after uninstall and reboot it was still messed up. I had to select a different wallpaper and then select the old one again; then it was fixed. It seems that the 3rd party launcher don't work well with HC yet.
i found that if i turn off locking the screen orientation (i rarely ever use portrait mode) and changing the orientation the background resets itself. but it is still rather annoying having to tilt it portrait and tilt it back.
no one else has this problem?
The same thing happened to me when I tried to use "Wallpaper Wizardrii"...until I uninstalled, then switched wallpaper...I'd get the weird shift after every reorientation....like the wp was resizing each time.
I was having major issues with wallpapers in adw ex, ended up using multi wallpaper live wallpaper to solve this, it can show a single image or a slide show.
I think the adw dev just got a honeycomb tablet so hopefully it will be fixed.

That not the right size dimensions so it won't work if you want something that big try 2560x2035 or smaller 1610x1280
All my installed wallpapers are the latter and i never have any issues.
I just started using ADW EX, and whenever I try to resize any widgets, the screen seems to freeze. That is, I can still resize the widge, but I can't deselect it, or select anything else on the screen -- including app icons, which stop functioning. I have to kill the app and relaunch to get it to respond again.
Does anyone know what the problem might be?
ADW is certainly feature-rich, but it is crying for some documentation, which I can't seem to find.

Autoresizewallaper: Android HC wallpaper solution?

For a while now I've been using this app called autoresizewallpaper to put landscape wallpapers on my homecomb tablet. It works better than live wallpaper widget but its kind of hard to use. It puts wallpapers on perfectly and keeps the high resolution that HC supports.
Here's the link: https://market.android.com/details?id=jp.hyoromo.automaticsettingwallpaper&hl=en
Anyway you guys should give it a try and see how it works for you.
Btw: make sure that you read the settings because it can be difficult to set up and apply, but its completely worth it.

Weird.
I'm on stock unrooted. And it works for me...
Try setting force. Then reboot and set the wallpaper again.
Not working for me on Apex either...
Anyone figure out a way around this?
would love to have the scrolling wallpaper back
Force option is gone
There is no option "force" in my version of nova.
Previous versions was there.

I don't have the force option anymore either. Used to have it before I updated to kit Kat carrier version, and everything worked fine, wallpaper was scrolling. After the update and with nova prime v2.3, the wallpaper scrolling options only show off, on, and reverse. (None works to scroll when clicked) I'm not sure if this is a kit Kat thing or what. I'm with rogers HTC one.

My HTC One - stock att - just updated to Kitkat yesterday and I saw the same issue. After reading through several solutions and changing to different launchers to see if they had a different outcome (didn't), I started tinkering with my wallpaper changer. I'm using play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.j4velin.wallpaperChanger "Wallpaper Changer" and get my images from my Dropbox, but I tinkered with the settings and when I set the option to 'Run as Live Wallpaper" my wallpaper scrolling started working again!
Don't know if this is an option, but it is working for me. Good luck!

Will work as a workaround until the problem is fixed anyway.

Thanks. Worked for my Verizon One Max after the KitKat update.
I'm running Android Revolution HD 62.0 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2183023) on my HTC one and I'm currently using a custom theme app which doesn't have any notable features and it comes with a default wallpaper that doesn't appear in any folders coz it seems to be within the apk itself and can only be accessed via android settings
but senses no-wallpaper-scrolling still shines through despite the fact that the theme is designed to do otherwise
is there any way to force wallpaper scrolling without having to locate an image because that's not really an option here unless someone knows hot to pull an image out of an apk

Background image zoom after reboot

I've experienced a problem after the KitKat update where if I choose an image from the gallery as the launcher background image, it shows fine, but after a reboot it is zoomed in on the image. Setting the image again fixes the problem until next reboot.
Can anyone try this in order to see if it is a common problem or if it's just my device.
Edit: simply killing the launcher seems to do the trick as well
Do u mean set a wallpaper nicely cropped & positioned then after reboot the wallpaper pic becomes zoomed in? My US Amazon Retail 16 GB does that. So frustrating!!

Live Wallpaper picker.apk for CM11 - Solved

I found several threads about this issue that did get solved but it is not working for me.
I installed CM11 on my old phone and there is nothing newer for it. CM11 runs Android 4.4.4 .
I tried several live wallpaper picker apps and none of them worked.
If I install the app then I get the option in setting but it just crashes and does not allow to choose a live wallpaper. If I do as the thread suggests in the below link and this to just move the file to particular directory and change the permission and reboot then it would also crash.
