I am unable to record videos on indroid rom. I updated the rom according to the instructions given.. I switched the settings in the cam app to 480p. Wen I click the record button, the record timer runs and after clicking stop, the video doesn't gets saved.. I am able to save photos but not videos.. is it only me facing this issue or is it a bug..

Already ics roms for i9003 has some issues. So wait until all bugs are fixed. Or try cm9 by dhriu. Or use Ginger bread.

This indroid remics rom by krraazzyy is based on dhiru's cm9 kernel.. moreover in the change log he has mentioned that the video recording in 480p is fixed as it is based on cm9alpha11 . The indroid remics v5 rom works very smooth with awesome sound quality.. its just that I am not able to record videos .. I wanted know whether it is only me facing that issue or is it a bug in this build since cm9alpha11 supports 480p video recording..

Btw, is it 480p or 420p.. I think in the change log it is mentioned as 420.. how to change settings to 420p..

Thank you.. any solution about how to make the recording work? I tried other cm9 base roms and the recording workd.. I am not able to record only with this rom .. but apart from that, the rom is perfect

Yes... jus came to know a few mins back that even another user has the same problem.. video doesnt gets captured.. hope the bug gets resolved

oh yeah..yesterday i had a power cut so wasnt able to do it.. and yup
all of them work but the g3mod kernel must be tweaked to make it work in alpha 7
BTW, tango is the best one and it works for video calling and is very fast even if you have a 2g connection !! most suited for low speed connection and extremely fast in high speed wifi networks.. because skype always drains our tiny phone's battery

I'm currently on Kyrillos 9.6 - JPU, but 4 weeks after flashing it's slow, and extremely laggy.
I tried to wipe cache/dalvik cache, but no change.
I don't want CM7 or newer, because none of them works without any issues.
What are you guys using ?
All roms would have their problems. Cm7 - all of it works for me anyway

For me, Kyrillos was a really good Froyo ROM, never had slow issues..

The Frankenstein's Mod is stable enough.
And cm9/10 has few minor bugs.
If he could bear with them then he would love these roms.

I have tried also the frankesten but it has bug with sistemui.apk and mms.apk. I would try the CM9 but it's only an alpha...can you explain me it's bug?

main bugs:
Low fps video recording.
H/W composer issues(few glitches rarely in UI)
Wifi status signal issues(wifi works fine, only the signal bar in notification is empty)
Front camera issues.

but i think he will love it :laugh:
I installed PACman v18 on my skyrocket and love it. The camera is amazing, but I have found that the video camera does not work. In 1080 I get a "snow screen" and in 720 and 480 I get a message that says the video cannot be played. Is this a known and/or fixable problem? Video is fairly important to me.
