After plugging in the HDMI adapter to my projector, I notice that my SG3 audio jack is disabled. It looks like the only way to get audio is via bluetooth. Can anyone confirm this? Is there a software fix to get the headphone jack activated again?
Also, using bluetooth, the audio is not synched - I presume due to latency issues. If I have to use bluetooth, is there a way to sync the audio and video? I know there are programs which can re-sync the audio / video in the mp4 file, but this is a hassle. My projector does not have audio out, so I am stuck having to get sound through bluetooth.
I plugged my dac to the phone using OTG cable, but the audio is still coming out from the speaker. currently, my solution is to play music with the Onkyo HF player (player that let you select USB output).
Im on lollipop 5.0.2, so there's no option of choosing the "Hi-Res Audio via USB" option.
I've got some stereo audio going into a USB audio interface which I want to record onto my phone.
I've plugged the USB adapter that came with my S7 edge into the mini firewire/charging port of the phone, and connected the audio interface USB cable to that. I've tried a couple of stereo sound recorders like recforge but when I record the audio going into the phone from the USB, it comes out mono only and I want it stereo.
Is the phone not equipped to record stereo from USB or can anyone recommend an app or driver?
Hi guys, using an S7 and i can't get usb audio out to work. I can play music through usb audio player pro but can't use the stock music app or spotify/tidal (which is what i mainly want to work). I've toggled the option in developer options. Used both a fiio e17 and a hifimediy 9018. Are there any workarounds to get it working? It used to work on my shoddy xiaomi so suprised it won't on the s7.
Cheers
I had a situation before where simply running USB Audio Player Pro fixed USB audio for my headphones throughout the system for that session. Try plugging in the DAC, run USB audio player, then exit and try play audio from another app.
Tried that still no luck.
Try disabling usb debugging. Mine worked after.
Only with OTG dongle
My S7 Edge only worked with an external DAC, when I used the OTG USB dongle that was included with the phone. I used it with a Denon DA-10.
