I have a Fake samsung galexy s3, and I am looking for a new andriod rom to flash/put onto it.
One of my parents have a real s3, and the specs are different.
Using the AnTutubenchmark app, i worked out the following from my phone:

Not really. We only work on official devices and not clones. You may have some minor luck searching around but they will be hacked together roms. This comes from no kernel source and them running non official versions of android.

Since im new to these devices, although not to computers nor linux, im kind of hesitant to blindly try info on some of the other models.

Well in meantime ive been reading a lot and hoping there would be more dev support, but....
So i went and installed the latest "[20.01.2014]CWM 6.0.4.6 Advanced Edition / PhilZ Touch 6.10.2 + exFAT + NTFS + MTK" + "SuperSU 1.91".
Ofcourse my counter was increased so i tried "[2014.01.15][ROOT] TriangleAway v3.26" to reset it, but unfortunatly it doesn't support my device *yet* (i hope).
I've send him a PM with a link to my dumpfile from withing TA (dropbox link), so lets hope he checks it and does his magic :highfive:

I found a site which explains rooting my build id(sorry, I can't post links yet), but after completing each step my device isn't rooted
This is my first android (I had a jailbroken iphone, but didn't like too much) and I already have bricks in my backyard and I don't want another one

Hello, I guess you and I are in the same boat. I 'm also looking forward to asha implementation.
For now I have rooted my phone (Samsung galaxy s 7 hero2lte) and I'm running lineage os 16 beta.

I have contacted the person developing this asking if asha is implemented in his build.
I have also emailed resound (I' 'm using resound Linx quattro hearing aids) and they told me that the devices are not ready yet, they are awaiting google' s development.
So fingers crossed for a fast launch of software for the HA's and an update from Google.
