hi everyone. i was just browsing thru the forums and found out that there is a way to change the color of the status bar for the ICS. unfortunately, there is none available for SGT p5100. uhm...... is anyone here have a project for that or has a link on how i can get the apk for that? i did try one, however, i did not read the note that it is only for a 7.7 tab. luckily, i did a backup of the original systemui.apk before changing it. so, anyone can help me with this? i would really appreciate it. thanks in advance.

i searched for it, apparently, its only applicable for p5113. not for p5100. no match. T_T any one that has another idea? this would really be of great help.

Or edit it yourself. Get SystemUI.apk on your desktop and open it with something like 7zip. Then find the statusbar tile

Its not device specific. All android 4x should be the same. So go do it! Its okay!

i see. thanks for that info. although, i was successful in changing the colors of the menu status bar thru use of paint and photoshop. i will upload the image once my sister is done playing. thanks very much. so i finally saw the light of me taking photoshop class in school.

well the lockscreen is from sensehero ROM, i tried pushing the HtcLockScreen.apk but that didnt change anything.
i thought it would be more for devs since it has to do with breaking down the ROM
and your theme is from where?
maybe i can cook it up for you, just need to know where the them is form, and which rom you want it on

i took the htclockscreen.apk and com.htc.resources.apk from sanpeis and the themed rom
i tried placing the images into sanpeis version but it didnt change anything, do i have to mess with .xml files? im not sure how to though..
im trying to do the lockscreen first and work on the launcher after..

i uploaded a rosie.apk file. it has all the images and whatnot included. it loads and runs, the only problem is that the launcher/phone/newwidget bar is overlapped with the older one, and a few other problems.
im not sure how to mess with XML files but it looks like im the only one who wants to work on this hahaha

what is your firmware version?

I just copied framework-res.apk over to system/framework and rebooted my phone. Transparency is working fine and all the animations are differant, must say this is a awesome jon you have done

I am using Overcome 7 Series v4.0.0, Overcome Kernel v4.0.0 ( Updated from Overcome Kratos )
If I replace only systemUI.apk everything is working fine, ( clock in the middle, but not transparent notification ).
If I replace and the framework-res.apk file, ( in system/framework ) when I try to press and hold the power button to power down, reboot, etc, nothing happens no menu is appearing the tab freezes and reboots. Do you have the same problem?
Is there a solution? The framework-res apk gives alot of effects, plus the notification screen glass effect, very good... but I have the above problem.
Has anyone a solution for that?

Make sure you do a back up before you flash.
As the title states, it was made with/and for the Odexed KJ4/KK9 framework(s) using a mixture of the UOT and Photoshop, These changes are what I'm using and just thought I'd share it.
I didn't like the green so much, so changed most things to blue, I will keep updating it as time goes by and I'll be changing what I can to this easy on the eye blue.

I have a couple of things I have to tweak to make it a bit more uniform throughout but It's cool enough for now, there is also a change to the window animation to a "Flying" animation, can't really show you a pic of that.
Again if you flash this, Back up, back up...BACK UP! As with most flashable mods, I can't be held responsible if things go pear shaped.
Copy the zip to the device and flash with CWM.

I have updated the modification to change the colour of the shortcuts from the status bar drop down curtain and make the colours a bit more uniform throughout, still can't find the blasted place to change the status bar background to an image however, If anyone knows, feel free to give me a heads up.

KK2? Not seen that one, only KK9, is that the one you meant? If so it should be done this weekend as I've just moved to that ROM too, if not, sling me your framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk

I've just spotted that some users do indeed have a KK2 ROM, I have updated the First post to include KK9, but for me to create one for KK2, your gonna need to provide 3 files to me,
/system/framework/framework-res.apk
/system/framework/twframework-res.apk
/system/app/SystemUI.apk
And I'll make the changes for you.

Hi,
because i don't like the stock hover icon from CM10.1 i decided to play around with some others.
After some hours of playing i found how to edit the xml needed for the correct position of the icon.
So with help from various apk tools i made a update.zip with the modified framework-res.apk.
Big THX to wesf90 for his frameworkflasher, after an modification i got this working for the note.
Thx to ForeverSupra for his idea and the stock hover img.
Before you flash, make sure you have an backup!

Hi, sry for the late answer but i dont own the note anymore. I modified the framework from cm 10.1 to make it work, so this is why you get loops.
So you have to modifie the framework from the cm 10.2 to get it working again.

You could change the cursor, but you have to change it in the framework. Or someone could write an Xposed Modul to do this without modifying the framework.
So i tried to edit the CM 10.2 and added the stock Icon in it. I can't test it so if you want just try it, but please make sure you have an backup.
And please let me know if it works or not.
I generated two update files, one signed one not, because i can't remember if it is working without signing.
