It would work, but the dock only supports up to USB 2.0, and the proprietary connector made by Asus to fit directly to the tablet is only USB 2.0. So unfortunately it would only work at USB 2.0 speed I believe.

I'm using a 2.5 SATA 3.0 in an aftermarket metal case I bought.
The tab sees the drive, yet the file transfer is slooooooowwww...
I don't know why.

Are there any videos of TF300T with USB RJ45?

i did a search with the same title in XDA and in youtube but no luck,
wondering if anyone have a clip showing that it does work?
Thanks all
Jon
If you mean USB Ethernet adapter ....they work ...but with standard ones...try belkin adapter ....
Only problem is you can't download in play store ...it needs wifi only ....otherwise good for browsing.

Few questions about asus charge cable thats not form asus it self.

Well i have new cable thats not form asus it self it seems like i cant ... well usb to pc. Well it get charge icon. Itsn ot my tab problem but i think cable or the driver's.
Leave me any suggestions .
There's no "driver" for a cable, it's just a cable. It's probably missing pins for data transfer, it happens with cheap cables. You'll need to get a new one or use something like FTP or ES File Explorer's LAN capabilities to transfer files.

How do i know how much pins asus cable use ?
and it's an yway to get the tf 101 out of charge mode? XD < might not happen
I believe (dont quote me) that the asus cable is an 18 pin connection cable so you should be able to just count them

just get the dock from asus.
it's a bit on pricier side. but on the other hand, you got more features:
Battery
USB ports
SD Card Slots
overall it's a better fit.

Bought used tf700 can't hook upto tv?

Ok so I purchased this tablet used and yesterday was the first time I tried hooking it up via the micro hdmi to my hdtv...nothing worked...I'm running cromi Rom and even did a fresh stock Rom install...the tablet does not even recognize it's plugged into the hdmi...I'm using a media bridge cable as seen here

Could the cord be the problem...does the cord have to be at least 1.4?...I'm really hoping it not the tablet ...any suggestions?

I would try at LEAST 1 more cable to ensure its not the tablet. I bought one from monoprice and it works great. I can't post a link b/c I'm a new member but google search "15ft 34AWG Standard HDMI® Cable With Ethernet w/Ferrite Core - HDMI® Micro Connector male to HDMI® Connector male - Black" on monoprice and you'll see it.
Good luck and post back!
It may be the cable. Most smartphones have micro HDMI output, so test one. If you have a Radio Shack they sell a HDMI to micro HDMI adapter that you could use on one of your other cables.

[Q] How can i configurate a ps3 wireless controller????

I bought a PS3 control TTX Tech brand, but I could not configure it, my computer does not detect it, my question is whether it is possible to use it with my INFINITY or can only used with the PS3

How does it connect? Special PS3 wireless thing, or bluetooth?

Alright, from the attached picture it seems like this controller uses RF to transmit to that dongle, so using the bluetooth method of connection isn't an option. Really I can't think of a direct way to do this. Perhaps if you have a port adapter for your tablet to make it into a standard USB 2.0 there could be a way to make it work, but without the exact details of your tablet and more info on the controller, that can't even be attempted.

Yes. The PS3 uses Bluetooth to connect controllers. That one uses RF which the PS3 doesn't have built in.

I believe the Sixasis app in the Play Store states that a lot of knock off controllers wrong work. If you don't hand an official PS3 controller, it's all worth the $60 to buy one!! I use my PS3 controllers with my phones and tablets. I've got one controller that I use solely with my Note 2, as I have a GameKlip mounted on the controller. Another controller I use with my Infinity and '13 N7 FHD. I use the Sixasis pairing tool program that I have installed on my laptop to switch between my Infinity and N7 FHD. Occasionally I'll use my OTG dock that I bought for my Note 2 to switch the controller to my N7 FHD. Even better when using the HDMI port on the Infinity and hooking it up to my 55" Sony LED TV! Dead Trigger is probably my favorite, but I've also bought all of the GTA games on the Play Store, and they're all great as well!! Android gaming is sooooo much better with a PS3 controller!!! Especially when hooked to my TV! Friends will walk in and think I'm playing on my PS3 or XBOX 360, and are always shocked when I first tell them that I'm playing through my tablet
I highly recommend buying a HDMI to micro HDMI cable, as well as an official controller!! I'm sure Asus will continue to put a micro HDMI cable in their future tablets, so the cable a good investment! The Asus Infinity successor definitely has the micro HDMI port on it.
Off topic, but I can't wait for the New Infinity! It's gonna be a beast with the Tegra 4 and all of its other specs!!!

PS3 controller
You dont need an special app! Play an game with the PS3 controller via USB and enable the Bluetooth. After 10 minutes you can find the controller in Bluetooth settings. Connect the controller via Bluetooth and now you can play without USB kable.
Sorry for my english
Were can you find the cheapest controller that works online do any off brands work or does it have to be a Sony one?

In the six-axis app description I believe it says using any controller other than the original Sony controller will not work and the control mapping will start messing up and won't work correctly so yes you do need the original controller. You could also try using MOGA controllers if that's what you prefer but I don't think it works with the six-axis app
