Hey Galaxy S3 users!
I wanted to share a ROM I am starting to build, it’s in its infant stages(notice version 0.3) so this ROM isn’t for everyone.
I wanted to build a ROM for especially for noobs, for those of you who are just getting into the game. I do receive a ton of emails from noobs being totally disappointed after trying advanced ROMs like CM9/CM10. But those custom ROMs aren’t always meant for noobs and beginners who are just getting into Android rooting and ROMs so I wanted to build a ROM that gives you extra features without sacrificing stock ones so they can slowly transition to other great custom ROMs already here on XDA.
Anyways, if you have any suggestions and you are a total boob and want certain features added/removed, let me know and will work on the next versions.
Thanks!
Video overview of v0.3 here:
http://galaxys3root.com/verizon-gal...rom-v0-3-for-rooted-verizon-galaxy-s3-app2sd/
Features
- Built off Stock ROM (USB Kies and everything else works from stock)
- Jelly Bean Boot Animations
- App2SD Hack (Allows you to use 32GB/64GB app storage!)
- Custom Bootanimation
- Google Now
- GREAT battery life, no weird heating issues.
- Init.d Support
- Hacked Native Wifi hotspot
- USB Kies support
- 4-way reboot
- Speed tweaks for WiFi
- Power saving features
- Graphic acceleration for your photos/videos
- Deodexed/Zipaligned
- SuperSU
- More coming soon! (Let me know what you really want!)
- I left all bloatware on for now (slowly removing one by one, please tell me which one you think absolutely isn’t needed)
ChangeLog
v0.3 Added Init.d support for kernel and App2SD Hack
v0.2 Added Custom Bootanimation support, Hacked native wifi tether/15 toggles blue menu (Thanks to electron73!), 4-in-1 reboot menu (Thanks to scrosler!), and init.d support with insecure kernel (thanks to scrosleragain!)
- Removed some bloatware: Kindle, MyVerizon, and Yahoo widgets. Will keep removing more slowly.
v0.1 Based off Stock VRALF2, Jelly Bean Animations, GoogleNow, speed tweaks for WiFi, power saving features, and graphic acceleration so your photos/videos should be higher quality.
How to Install
From v.0.2 and on, YOU MUST HAVE AN UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER! Unlocking bootloader is easy, please see video tutorial here if you don't know how.
Download:
http://galaxys3root.com/highonandroid-galaxy-s3-rom/
To change boot animation, download your favorite boot animation at http://AndroidBootAnimation.com, then use ES File Explorer, enable Root Explorer and Mount in settings, and place bootanimation.zip in /system/media directory.
*Note – This ROM is for NOOBs and for those of you who want to stay stock but get better performance/features over stock ROM.
P.S. I support the noobs. We were all once noobs asking the dumbest questions in the world, no there’s no such thing as a dumb question, that’s how you get smarter. Without noobs, we wouldn’t have any experts.

How about you create a rom called "Butt Naked" and strip all bloatware. List the removed bloatware on startup and allow the user to pick and choose the bloatware they want to install. I had a rom on my ASUS Prime that did exactly this.

How about you quit spamming dev threads with this and make a general thread
You're 2/2 now that I've seen.

This is not spam, I'm giving the devs ideas. Both scoot and zedomax asked how they could make roms better and what bloatware users wanted. If you knew better most devs use features from other roms.. why does everyone have to be a **** in these forums. I was just throwing out ideas......
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2

I support the aroma idea. Aroma installers are awesome. Can be kind of much for new comers though not knowing what to pick. I don't think it suits this rom very well. Something like getting the ota installer implemented would be good for this. And possibly a spot on Google manager or rom toolbox which installs the ROM for them with little to no interactions. That might be hard for an up and new rom like this though. I know nothing of the process for any of that.

can any one explain to me what speed tweaks for WiFi is?, I'm kinda a noob.... i thought my WiFi worked fine? and before anyone says i have shouldn't be asking those questions in this thread, before i download this rom i want a little clarification of what that particular tweak does?

You've posted the exact same thing in several development threads today. Basically you have an idea for a rom and want developers to cater to it.

Idk the ins and outs but the tweak will make the wifi faster than it is now. So say your wifi is at 5mbp/s this will make it 9mb/s. Those are just random numbers though. Idk what the real difference will be.

Yes works fine on any verizon gs3. It has stock kernel so will not affect the locked bootloader status. The verizon gs3 security feature only goes off when u flash custom kernels. There is kexec workaround that all the devs are using but wish we didnt have to do that i dont see what verizon has to gain from this other than bad publicity. Well just my thoughts.

we have an unsecure bootloader now, we no longer need kexec. Verizon try as they might can't keep a community this strong down.

I am by no means a developer. I am simply a themer trying to learn. I am OCD about everything I install on any device I use. I try and try and try many combinations of mods until I find what works the best for me. I also add mods that I like and fix things in the roms general theme that I do not like. And this is exactly what I have done here....
I was not going to post this, but my testers asked me to so here it is. If the thread gets retarded because people can not follow instructions I will get the thread removed.....
BEFORE YOU EVER ATTEMPT TO USE THIS YOU MUST HAVE FLASHED WEAPON 3.0_R1 AND LET IT BOOT ONCE. OR YOU WILL BOOTLOOP.
YOU CAN FIND THE ORIGINAL WEAPON HERE:
WEAPON 3.0_R1
I post this with the tags as [MOD] for one reason and one reason only. AND THAT IS BECAUSE IT CAN NOT BE FLASHED BY ITSELF!!!!!! YOU MUST BE ALREADY USING WEAPON TO FLASH THIS!!!!!!!!
FOLLOW THE INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS OR DO NOT BOTHER TO TRY TO USE THIS!!!
Ok this is my basic mod of Weapon G2x. This is what I used as my daily driver for a long time. I have had over 20 testers try it with nothing but positive results. As far as I know everything is working. There is still some buggy spots in the stock browser this is not due to any of the hacks applied by Whitehawkx or me. It is due to LGs lack of coding, or should I say LGs failure of implicating correct coding. And as with any stock LG based ROM there is some weirdness here and there.
What I did:
a.) Tweaked the frameworks in a few spots to allow quicker transitions.
b.) I added ICS sounds all the way around the ROM.
c.) Changed out all the lockscreen clock fonts.
d.) Added the init.d scripts I like to use. (I will add explanation of why I used what I used down the way.)
e.) Added Center clock mod, I did not make it roll up because I always like to see the time and date when I pulldown my notification bar. Yes some text will overlap but I always use tweaks to change out my clock color so it matches whatever theme I am using. If you flash a theme over this you will break the center clock and some of the tweaks, but other then that there shouldnt be too much of an overall affect. I might add move clock to tweaks but I doubt I will be able to have time to do so.
f.) Build.prop tweaks for gps and such....they dont do much but I figure every little bit helps with this POS device
g.) I am sure there is some others I have forgotten.....cause I am working on several projects at once....
Ok for the init.d scripts I know some cancel the others out to an extent. Minfree is set to the same levels in edttweaks and juwe11s ramscript but juwes also gives other settings, that for me work out well. I also added a few others I use that help me out battery wise. With the init.d scripts I included I get about 20 hours with 2+hours of display time. Results will vary for everyone, but for me it has been better as well as for those who tested it.
NOTE: I only use the stock kernel that comes with the rom. From my experience and from my testers that has shown the best results.
Known issues to my knowledge:
You must already be on WeaponG2x_3.0_R1 to flash this or YOU WILL BOOTLOOP!! LIKE I SAID FOLLOW MY INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS!
A.} The way to install my mod, is stupid...but it is the only way I can get it to work for those of you who want it. So follow the instructions or don't attempt to install it.....
B.} The stock browser will go stupid sometimes..Once again complete and utter failure on LG. This happens on any rom that is based off of LGs code.....
C.} External SD will not mount unless you mount it through CWM recovery, or if you format the card after flashing Weapon.
D.} You must already be on WeaponG2x_3.0_R1 to flash this or YOU WILL BOOTLOOP!! LIKE I SAID FOLLOW MY INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS
_________________________________________________
OK. Now for the part I am sure most of you can't follow. The install instructions......
_________________________________________________
1.) FIRST FLASH WEAPON_3.0_R1, IF YOU DO NOT HAVE IT INSTALLED DO NOT BOTHER TO TRY TO BOOT THIS MOD/ROM.
2.) ONCE YOU HAVE WEAPON INSTALLED REBOOT INTO CLOCKWORK MOD RECOVERY.
3.) WIPE CACHE AND GO TO ADVANCED AND WIPE DALVIK CACHE.
4.) DO NOT WIPE ANYTHING BESIDES DALVIK AND CACHE!
5.) INSTALL THE MOD OVER WEAPON.
6.) ONCE THE INSTALL IS DONE REBOOT AND LET IT SETTLE FOR A FEW MINUTES.
DOWNLOAD WEAPON THE NEW CLIP HERE:
WEAPON_NEW_CLIP_V-0.1
....Now like I said YOU MUST HAVE WEAPON 3.0 RC1 already installed or you will bootloop. And you WILL bootloop if you do not follow the install instructions I gave EXACTLY. I do not know why, I tried my best to fix it but I couldnt. I am not a developer I am just a noob themer trying to learn my way around android....
This is pretty much the only time I am going to give this out simply because those who tested it asked me to. Otherwise I wouldnt have given it out. I have alot of projects going on between my cm7 themes and roms I am working on. I will do my best to help anyone who has issues, but if you cant follow the instructions I do not know what to tell you.
If you did not follow the instructions and get stuck in a bootloop pull your battery and flash weapon 3.0_r1. Let it boot and settle for a few minutes. After that if you want my mod go back to recovery and install the mod.
Did I forget to mention its smoother then buttery bacon grease biscuits on a slip n slide?!?!

Just asking, i know there is not an official word on the g2x getting ics unless i pick a cyan rom but if we do get it will you update??? Thanks again for working on weapon, much appreciated.

If anyone is on the fence about this update...Don't be. It is great! I have been running it since last Friday and have nothing but good things to say. Everything works, only better. The interface feels smoother and faster. GPS lock is improved. Everything is just better.
Give it a try.
Thank you Kwes1020! I know you have run into a couple challenges to get this far. We appreciate your perseverance. I hope you continue to tweak it when your busy schedule allows.

I went ahead and threw on the 0.1.3 SV before I read this. Seems to be working just fine actually. Something pretty weird I noticed though, faux said that the SV should only be at 1.0ghz max and I am getting 1.4 with it. Either I missed something somewhere or it randomly decided to run faster. It's running cool, smooth, stress tested okay, good benchmarks. I will keep it until it decides to become funky. I have plenty of backups...
Anybody happen to have the stock gps.conf file that comes with this? I've already managed to jack mine all up.

Hey paul,
Can you explain what "Vanilla option using stock ICS components instead of HTC Sense components while retaining stability and core HTC functionality" means? Were all HTC apps removed? What core HTC functionality is required if the HTC apps have been removed/replaced by stock ICS?
Also, I see this is the 1.78 base which mean no TMOUS WiFi calling. Any plans to release a 1.84 TMOUS build?
it is multi-lingual?

The HTC call screen remains and the lockscreen (as that interfaces with the call screen), the notification bar etc. is still stock, all the HTC main apps are gone and replaced with ICS versions.
Yes, no TMOUS WiFi calling I guess. I'll look at doing a 1.84 based build, as long as that works OK on international devices!

At a guess, I'd say he means you can have the AOSP look, while retaining things like full HTC camera functionality (inc. video)
Edit - Paul beat me to it - I should refresh my page more often

The HTC call screen remains and the lockscreen (as that interfaces with the call screen), the notification bar etc. is still stock, all the HTC main apps are gone and replaced with ICS versions.

Does this mean that if we dont have the HTC lockscreen and bake a ROM with the ICS lockscreen, we have to unlock before answering a call? Does using the stock dialler solve this?
Also, has the annoying multi-task issue with the stock ROM been solved here?
Thanks

I think if you go for the ICS lockscreen, you would have the issue of unlocking first.
About multi-tasking, give this script a try, seeing as this ROM has init.d support.

Does the Vanilla version still have Internet Pass-through?

Yes, AOSP lock screen requires you to unlock before answering a call. I haven't seen any stock roms that have been able to get the AOSP lock screen working with the stock dialler. They all rely on Sense.

Correct, it's the phone app not the dialer that causes this - which is still HTC - hence using the HTC lock screen.

Paul, just a quick question. I think I'm going to give the Vanilla a go, but I rely heavily on the HTC Car Panel when driving to\from work. What apk.s will I need to put back in to get it working OK? Thanks!

Hmmm, i'm not sure which bit that lives in, i'll check. I assume you went pretty stripped down Vanilla? I wonder if that's in the 'PC Sync' module?
I'll let you know what I find.

Just baked and installed a rom to include HTC Sync and that has solved the problem! Thanks for the suggestion. Loving the kitchens.
And yes, I have gone fairly vanilla.

[Q] Opinions on going JB coming from CM9

Hey Infusers,
Exciting times and monumental occurrences have graced our phone in the last few days thanks to scott.hart.bti, Yuma75, araemo, jt1134, PoXFreak, Pony Express, and all those other mad geniuses that enabled a successful JellyBean port.
I'd like to express my sincere thanks to those guys for their much appreciated hard work. :good:
I followed that thread obsessively, along the way using up my 8 thanks and even continued to smack thanks on the xda app (but I still didn't think that was enough lol the novelty wears off after the 97930923845540354th time)
The unimaginable collaborative effort yielded only great success and I wish I had the capacity to build and develop like those guys. Once again, THANK YOU!
ANYWAY
I'm running Entropy's 6/27 build CM9 on my AT&T Infuse in the U.S. and I LOVE IT! I honestly wasn't even going to consider flashing anything else until I noticed any problems...which, I haven't yet, CM9 is SWEET. But after combing that entire thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1776129), the allure of Google Now, Project Butter, and all other assorted JellyBean goodness tempt me .
I need whatever ROM I'm running to be great for day-to-day usage and scott.hart.bti declared that JellyBean was no longer a Work in Progress ROM. I would want MMS functionality, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi as strong as possible (I only have 200 MB/Month of Data), and flashlight if possible, So, I'm soliciting opinions here, is it a good idea to switch from CM9 to JB?
To be honest, I'm not even having major problems with CM9 (Wi-Fi is weak, no flashlight, and known camera glitch, no biggie) but knowing that JellyBean's perfection might be a flash away, it's something I find myself seriously considering.
Note: Yes, I'm on ICS, but I have CWM recovery rainbows and have never used Heimdall (don't even know what it is!) before, so I never flashed new Bootloaders (I really don't wanna brick lol).
If I were to go through with flashing JellyBean, as I understand it, I'd have to:
Odin back to stock (never used that before either :-/)
Update to GB
Update to ICS
Flash GB boot loaders
Flash Blue recovery
Flash JB
And then, let's say if I bricked sometime in the future, because I flashed new bootloaders, I'd never be able to return to stock, right?
Opinions welcome! And I figured I'd start a new thread because I saw a few people on the fence about it as well, so this would help more than just me Thanks!

So, yes, go through the entire process, flash the new bootloader to have a working recovery in JB, and even if I do I'll be able to return to stock?
Yeah, that would be the one I go with, is MMS working for you? Thanks!

I have not tried yet, have not had the need. Probably not, may need the new apn. And make sure when you flash the bootloader your phone is securely connected to your computer and it can flash multiple other things, as a bootloader brick is the worst and you cant recover unless you go to mobiletechworldvideos and pay 40 for them to fix it... or get a new phone lol.
In my opinion jelly bean is still not as stable as cm9, but very near. As you may already know, 07/23 was taken down beacause its causing frozen infuses to many people but next build should be quite good, maybe even better than cm9. So my suggestion would be to upgrade to JB as soon as the build is out
As for the GB bootloaders, you don't necessarily have to go back to stock to flash them. It is not that big of a risk as long as the process is not interupted.
Let me know what your final decision is and i would be glad to help and provide you with links and instructions

Yes i have used 7/22 too. i would say it runs almost like cm9.
thats why i suggested waiting for the next build that should surpass cm9.

^^^^ the infuse doesn't flash dumped bootloaders, only official ones from sammy. nobody really knows why, but whatever built in safety mechinism the infuse has makes it somewhat safe. this is also made true by that fact that there are fewwer revisions of the bootloaders and sammy has always released them in pairs including boot.bin and sbl.bin on this hardware. i don't think there have been reports of totally hosed bootloaders other than early experiments trying to flash dumped rogers bootloaders on att devices with different flash programs. i think i have seen partially hosed reports that still boot the phone in some form of download mode even though the screen image is corrupt or missing but i'm not sure i've ever seen an unflashable infuse.
it is not technically "safe" but it is done in the samsung update process somehow and has not proven too high risk like it was on the galaxy s series which was plagued with 3-button problems, numerous official bootloader revisions, firmware releases that only inculde 1 bootloader image, and incompatibilities between sbl.bin and boot.bin based on build date or carrier version even at times with the same firmware version on the phones.
Hmmm same as CM9 and not to stable......but for me its quite nice.

I would tell you to wait until a more stable build comes out because MMS either works or it doesn't, the build with Butter has been removed for the time being as many were having constant freezing issues, not sure if BT works without issues, Wifi works well, to my knowledge and experience, the flashlight does not work yet.
I would say wait....but......in the end, it is up to you

As for the bootloaders, that's exactly what I mean! They can be flashed while running GB or ICS since they both support them.
You would have to flash them using Odin.. there is no downside at all, just good news .. bye bye to your rainbows !
Here are the bootloaders and some instructions on how to flash them: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=29203437&postcount=33

Thanks to Faux for his kernels, without which HF wouldnt be. Thank to CM for the rom base. Thanks be to Volk, TOG, and all the previous HF Team members for which I helped maintain! It was through all that, that my desire to build came about. So with all that said and done, I personally wish to thank you, the end user. .:How to make a Log_Cat:.
Ok so some folks have no clue how to get a log_cat to show errors or FC's, here is how to do it:
1. Grab your self a log_cat app such as aLogcat (free) - logcat or Log Viewer (logcat) or similar.
2. If your issue IS NOT CONSTANT REBOOTS then after installing one of the above apps or similar then open it up and attempt to do what you did to get the error or FC. Then go back to the log_cat app and export the file for us to view.
3. Edit the log_cat if your familiar to show the error or not if your unfamiliar.
4. If your issue is constant reboots then you need to plugin via usb to your pc and get the log_cat via adb or using an adb app for win or ubuntu such as Android Commander or Droid Explorer
5. Once log_cat is exported/gathered POST IT IN THIS THREAD. Dont matter how. Link it, use '[ code ] [ /code ]' (<- without spaces of course), or your choice just get us the info.
.:Wickedest Tip Ever for XDA'ers:.Ok so ima take this moment to add a wicked tip to make your xda reading ability much better. Some peeps know, some dont.
So basically in the xda app via your pc click on your USER CP -> Edit Options -> Number of Posts to Show Per Page -> select 50.
In the xda android app go to (if your rocking the latest version btw) more -> settings -> Posts per page -> select 50.
I cant tell you how many times Ive read peeps complaining about having to go through hundreds of pages to read 10 posts at a time. Please do your self a favor and change the above two settings. You wont regret it.
.:Changelog:.

-Reapplied new BB patch and recompiled with it.

Nice work! This rom is slick. Congrats on your first rom dapharoah. This build is really one to be proud of.
Thanks bro!
Haven't flashed in several months, may have to give this one a go. I'm on newest baseband, wish the BT audio bug was fixed. Might have to revert BB if everything else is as good as expected.
Thanks for keeping things going for the G2x
Thanks for the ROM. My phone was sad without being flashed for so long....
Quick request, would you mind updating the instructions to let us know at what point we have to flash the zip for the old baseband off we are still using it?
( I'm assuming we have to flash it at one point, please pardon me if I'm wrong....)
Thanks a lot

Just flash the zip right after you flash the rom and gapps. If you do that you'll be fine.

Has this been updated with the latest cm commits?
Thinking about switching from teamsek's 135.4 build.
Would love to see more cherry picks added. Thanks for giving people something to flash for a while though.
So... can't find the link to your gapps, just the old one.

Oh no....thank you! You pushed me toward app development and I am happy to say patent pending! I gotta admit, I am not amazed at all....if people knew of your commitment they would not be surprised that this is your first out. Simply the best rom out here for the 2x. People please take the time to use, look through, and abuse this rom. That is the ONLY way you can understand the sheer brilliance. Awesome job bro! G2X + Da-pharoah = relevance! Proud day bro, proud day!!!!!

This is my first ROM EVER. I am going to be updating this ROM frequently over time as I see fit. If you have requests please post in a comment below!
Shout Outs:
Geohot (For working on rooting our device and EVERY device he can with www.towelroot.com)
Hashcode0f (For making SafeStrap compatible with our phone and making flashing .zip's possible!)
BeansTown106 (For his Base Build/Mods.)
Misterxtc (For taking the time to read my multiple PM's and helping me learn how to compile a flashable ROM!)
Google/Samsung (For making an amazing device/OS for us to play with.)
Creators of Archikitchen here on XDA (For providing the tools necessary to ROM.)
Everyone else who has contributed that I did not mention.
This ROM is based on BeansTown106 Odex Base. (It was DeOdexed using ArchiKitchen.)
ROM:
Android 4.4.2 (NCG Base)
DeoDexed
Zipaligned
Busybox
Rooted
Knox Free
Native Hotspot
Removed Verizon OTA Updater
DeBloated (Everything intact to make everything functional minus crap not needed.)
Read/Write to external storage (Should be working, let me know if it doesn't.)
Art should work (I do not use it.)

Some applications such as Play Movies, Play Music, and My Files have not been removed yet so you can debloat it even more. SHealth among other features were left in ROM due to seeing people request for things to be left on.
Instructions:
I am NOT responsible for your device and if you do not flash properly or something goes wrong. This ROM has been tested on my own Retail S5 and has flashed just fine with no issues.
1: Download ROM and put on External SD card (or internal if it works for you)
2: Also Download SuperSU from HERE and put in same place you have the ROM zip
3: Reboot into SafeStrap Recovery and select ROM slot you want to install it on (Most likely on ROM slot 1)
4: Once in desired ROM slot, go to Wipe, and swipe to wipe (default wipe settings in SS should be good enough)
5: Go to main SS screen and press Install (Then navigate to the ROM zip and flash it, then flash SuperSU zip immediately after)
6: On first boot, you might get a Setup Wizard FC (Just press OK and don't worry about it as it will only appear once)

Welcome dood! Thanx for the rom.

Also welcome from my side @elliwigy , nice to see you here bro´
Well looking! But to prevent people from asking dull questions such as "can I flash this on my 900f/i/p/t" probably you should change a bit the name of the tread so to be clear that the rom is for 900V?! That's my opinion .

I am curious about something - based on that last post, if in fact this rom is only flashable on Verizon S5s, why post it in the international thread where yit would be natural for people to think they could flash it - ?
A better question might be is - is this flashable in a traditional recovery like TWRP or CWM or must it be flashed in Safestrap?
I don't know that much about Safestrap but can you have Safestrap and a more traditional custom recovery on the same phone?
Doesn't safe strap also use the Internal SD card? If that is so, because Internal is limited on most of the current S5's - are there space restrictions when flashing? (just curious...I really don't know)
I think it would be helpful if there was more information about what phones were compatible and what recoveries would and would not work for this rom...
just my thoughts...I am glad that you are able to flash on Verzon and other phones iwth Locked Bootloaders now - and congratulations on your first rom!

it is flashable through twrp or cwm and safestrap is based on twrp just have to make sure youre on a kernel compatible with the rom.. and to my knowledge this is a unified sgs5 thread which means all s5 variants can b posted.. if i am wrong mod can delete my threads in here since i also have em posted in the verizon thread.. ppl on vzw s5 thread have been succesful in flashing roms from here on the vzw s5.. only thing is some network functions dont work like lte etc. but it did not break the phone.. i didnt know this was strictly an international thread

Please don't take my comments wrong - I really didn't know one way or the other - (my experience with Safestap on my Note 3 had been that if it was a Safestrap rom - you had to have Safestrap installed to flash it - I guess that changed - so thank you for the update - it is helpful.
I wasn't meaning to question your posting the rom in the international thread - my question was really based on whether you had to have safestrap to use it - which you said is not necessary - so I guess it doesn't matter. Hope you didn't take my comments wrong...

I may be wrong, But I am pretty sure this thread is really meant for the International S5 - Tmobile - Att - Verizon each has their own thread. As luck has it, the International and Tmobile phones are similar enough that International and TMOBILE ROMS are essentially the same (Except International doesn't have wifi calling - but considering you cant use your ROM on International or TMOBILE - seems to me that it is kind of inappropriate to have a thread here - I mean, what's the point? If we can't flash the rom why even post it here - when you have made a version that is compatible for 900F or TMOBILE - then maybe it is more appropriate.
I am not telling you what to do - only suggesting that you might consider that - it really doesn't matter to me one way or the other - just thought I would ask you to consider how difficult it will be to support a rom for phones that cannot even use it ?
just a thought

i know what youre saying but i was under the impression that this was the unified sgs 5 thread.. every version of the s5 has its own thread and this is a general s5 development thread.. to say you can post tmobile and att roms here but not verizon makes no sense.. im sure it will flash but whether or not data or messages etc will work without some modifications i do not know.. regardless, like i said, if a mod feels this shouldnt be here they are welcome to delete it from this thread. you are also welcome to pm a mod if u feel that strongly about it as well.. people with the vzw retail s5 shouldnt be coming to this thread if what you are saying is accurate.. i guess posting a rom made for a variant of the s5 shouldnt be posted in the unified s5 thread? either way like i said, ive posted my roms in the vzw s5 thread so these can b deleted if necessary... also, if you go on a pc and search for verizon galaxy s 5 you will see this dev thread right underneath the verizon dev thread.. so y put this thread on the vzw forum if it wasnt meant to be posted here?
