Spotted a desk cradle from Asus - Asus Transformer TF700

Haven't seen anyone mention it yet, and it's not in the desk cradle compilation.
So yea a desk cradle is coming, compatible with the TF201, TF300, tf500? And the TF700.
It gives an Ethernet port, 2x usb and it routes the audio jack to the dock as well.
Link from a german etailer: http://www.cyberport.de/notebook-un...ation-fuer-tf201-tf300t-tf500-und-tf700t.html
Seems pretty pricey at around 70€ but it's exactly what I've been looking for.
Opinions or thoughts? And what's this tf500 that's mentioned?
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T using XDA Premium HD app

Interesting...I'd get it if by the time it hits the States there's a drop in that price...
I think the model number is XB3QOKST00010-90 or 90-XB3QOKST00010...

whats the tf500? lol

they have an audio dock on the horizon also.

Its about time. The keyboard dock is overkill when you just want to watch a video. It looks like the dock is foldable. The one one on the right looks like its closed.
So, they had to make a transformable dock for the Transformer...LOL...

Maybe they'll call it the transformer nexus?

Good Find. It would be especially nice if it included a power adapter at that price...

Personally I wish it had an HDMI port. Then it would be a perfect desktop docking station... just drop the tablet in and you have a suitable desktop replacement, assuming I can find a way to improve the output resolution to my monitor.

Some good pix on the Dutch Amazon site ( I can't post links due to XDA rules for noobs)... but it is dubbya-dubbya-dubbya (dot) amazon (dot) de (forward slash) dp/B008OMGT9W?m=A3JWKAKR8XB7XF&tag=preissuchmasc-21
Most of the sites claiming to have this dock (the images are all renders) either don't have it in stock OR claim it is currently out of stock
The amazon link above says it "Usually ships on 1 to 2 months" lol... ok.

Says in stock
According to this its in stock in Germany!

Dutch is the language from The Netherlands. What you have there is Germany. Which is the big country on the east next to us. They speak GERMAN. Even if you've never seen a map with the world that lies beyond the US borders, surely you should at least have had history classes. Silly Americans...
Especially obvious from the .DE (Deutschland!), as opposed to the .NL (Netherlands!) in the URL.
We don't even have an Amazon site....

that wasnt the page where it said it was available. Thats just the one I posted cause it looked the nicest. :silly:

That would be awesome, but I'm not going to hold my breath. At this point I'd just be happy to see it show up in the states.

Interesting, great find!!

On the off chance I placed an order for the dock that was found on Amazon.de and just received a message that it is due to be shipped on the 11th of October. I know it's expensive but I'll let you know what it's like when I get it.
This is the item and if you look closely you'll see that they have 5 in stock.
Cheers,
Eric

Once you get your hands on it, could you please do a review of your experience with it. I would be interested to know more about the product and whether it is worth the price before committing to buying one - if they have any left in stock, that is...

A few simple clicks and here's the actual shop with more specs:
http://www.pcking.de/eshop.php?acti...Dock+-+Docking+Station&s_supplier_aid=2864771
Can be ordered already. The TF500 is NOT mentioned on the site. That's just Amazon being silly.

32GB MicroSD - working in Desire

Just quick confirmation if anyone was looking for this.
Will be great when they get full root and we have apps2sd...
Yep, ideal!
You think they will ever fix this within android (without root)? I'm hoping froyo will fix it and i have a feeling we will be seeing it at google io in may
Cool, have had mine on pre-order since beginning of April, supposed to be released April 21st. can't wait to fill it up with music, will leave a few gigs of space though for photos and videos and maybe a movie or two.
Where is a place I can buy a 32gb MicroSD? Clove didn't stock one and I couldn't see one on eBay or shopbot.com.au...
Although not much help for you if you're in Oz, here in the UK, several companies are taking advance orders for 30th April delivery, including Expansys, Play and MyMemory.
If you're really in a hurry, Sandisk's own store are showing them in stock for £143, about a £50 early adopter tax.

If you are asking me it is Play.com
Bear in mind that at Play.com they're taking pre-orders. As with everyone else (apart from SanDisk), delivery is due at the end of the month.
ok, thanks
The picture of the 32GB is different on play.com to sandisk.co.uk
In fact there are 4 different 32GB MicroSD cards on play.com.
Would someone mind posting the exact link to the one that works with the HTC Desire ?
I just don't want to purchase the wrong one or I would never forgive myself ;-)

WHat do you think of these ebay listings -- I am sure they are cheap knockoffs.. I have seen ebay remove about 15 other listings, so when there is smoke, there is usually fire... but.... THESE listings i have not seen removed. They show packaging as well as the microSD card. Long time to ship, but is this worth trying?

Er, I'd avoid that one I think, unless its a power seller with >98% positive feedback in which case I might take the risk if it meant saving a little money Vs purchasing direct from Sandisk.
I think ordering from Sandisk is the way to go right? No worries that you're getting a knockoff...
If you live outside the US/UK, and have no access to an online Sandisk store, then you can use Shipito to get your hands on one (its what I did).
Quite a lot of these cards have been sold on eBay from Hong Kong for between £15 - £40 (mostly £20 - £30) with free delivery. I can't believe they're genuine.

G2 dock...get it here!

Alright here we go. I just listed the dock on ebay. Auction starts at $.99 cents plus shipping. Everyone has a chance this way. Good luck.

If you can get lucky and find one at a TMO store, but I doubt it. They aren't making anymore.
Is there a possibility for worldwide shipping? I'm from Brazil and my chances for getting to a T-Mo store are zero (finding a Desire Z around here was an epic quest already)... So my only chance for finding this one-of-a-kind dock is through a eBay auction.
Thanks in advance and sorry for the bad english!

It's because people don't know how to bid on ebay. A 6-day auction starts at .99 cents and someone bids $15 right off the bat. There's still 6 days left! Save your big bidding for the last 5 minutes of the auction. That's of course, from the buyer's point of view.
From the seller's point of view however, it's great! I've been there. ROGUE7474, well done sir, you are gonna make a good profit on your sale
*disclaimer: in case someone here gets hurt by my comments, it's just my opinion, bid away.

I think it's not in their product list because it's been out for a while. If you look at the ebay listing for it the title shows that it comes with a charging case for an iPhone 3GS. I know this is an Android/WinMo community so people may not know much about iProducts but the 3GS came out in 2009. =P
Be careful, as suggested in jimmygoska's post this product is quite old. There is a review of it from november 2009 here.
The QI standard was released in August 2009, and the first compatible products were from Energizer in late 2010. I think the chap from gear4 made a mistake!
I wouldn't trust the current of that thing pumping power into my expensive N4. It looks like some knockoff plate with questionable electronic quality, IMO.
looking at a few youtube videos somethings just occurred to me will the n4 actually fit?
it's a fair bit bigger than the 3gs
before you start no im not talking about the sleeve i'm talking about the tray area of the pad
its a bit late for me seeing as i've already ordered one so if you see me selling it then you know it doesn't work or the tray is too small

The N4 is only 1.8cm taller and 0.6cm wider than the 3GS without the case on it. I can imagine the wireless case for the 3GS adds more than that.

I have hoped that Google would do something without bluetooth, but it looks a lot like this device has its own battery, gets connected via bluetooth (maybe automatically via NFC) and only comes in one layout ("ANSI" US. Because there are no people outside of murica.)
But maybe I'm wrong and it won't die in a day or two of usage -which would be nice - maybe it won't be complete and utter garbage.
Anyways, I'll order one, same goes for the N9, keep it for 12 days and send that sh*t back. Thanks EU for enforcing the right to return unsatisfactory products bought online. :good:

daaaaamn... $177.... If looking hard enough and have some good luck, you may even find a Nexus 7 2013 for close to that price.
And paying such a high price for a keyboard that in my opinion looks kind of generic (like many you'd see in an Amazon search), I wonder what HTC is thinking or is really offering that justify the price, because if we go by looks, this keyboard ain't it.

Please stop it with this "Google is betraying us"-nonsense. They are a company just like any other company that deploys market strategies to build a brand and to monetize afterwards, just like any other, and they can sell their products at the price they see fit. It is up to you to agree or not with your wallet. Google doesn't owe us anything. Geesh!

Yes, keep us updated. My ocd is kicking in with this silver adapter lol.
Is there an option to order this to be shipped to the US? When I went to the site I only saw Germany as the country option. Maybe if I try a computer browser instead.
I was very tempted on ordering the case-mate band/adapter. I would have ordered it if it wasn't for the adapter color. I know I would not have liked the clash in it. I'm on the fence if I want to trade my 3g in for the new classic 3g. I'm only really holding out in hopes that maybe t-mobile will start carrying the new LG watch and if so I may try that out instead.

Ya I got sick of them being sliver. If you are good at working with metal and know how to control the temperature of metal, you can flame color it without annealing the steel.
It turns a bronze color.
You can also color them black if you have the chemicals, it is called black oxide. It blackens steel, I have to get me some of the chemicals for my knife making.

WOW,
sneaky little rascals. well we will have to wait of them to be available through Samsung for the moment. But i do work with folks from overseas so I'm checking that avenue as well.
I just sent a note to my buddy in Italy, to see if its available there and i also sent him the link to the one in Germany.
Lets see what happens with that.

So how do they attach to the watch, did they switch something up or did you call and ask someone who didn't know what they were talking about?
