I am using the mentioned Rom yet I am getting severe lag. I have tried using different kernel settings using the installer and done a clean install but no luck whatsoever. Can any one offer ideas?

Hi there, you might want to post this in the sense o manic developers forums as they are more familiar with this rom and fixes for its issues .also everyone on that forum will be using that very same Rom and know much more about it. I personally have never ran that particular Rom so I can not say. But I do think you can get better help on their development forum. I hope this helps you and wish you the best! I'm sure that on that forum you will likely find a fix for your issue. Best wishes and good luck.

Unfortunately it seems I do not have the privileges to post on there.

After a few more posts on your part they will allow you to post on developers site . Sorry I forgotten about that rule and didn't know you hadn't posted enough to access the site. Just make a few more posts and they will grant access. Hope this helps.

use an AOKP/CM rom.. problem solved
Hi, sorry for the delay. The problem I have with miui roms is the extreme battery drain. I used them when I had the galaxy s but couldn't use it much. Then I chose the amestris rom which was amazingly smooth and brilliant battery life (almost 3 days). I can't seem to find this for HTC. I like this rom, but now the battery life seems to be getting worse and still keep getting moments of lag. I wonder whether I need to wipe battery stats once a fortnight?

Sorry, I meant cm as well as miui, a bit of a senior moment there

I have a question. I love this [[ROM][Sense 4.0][FINISHED] OrDroid 9.0.0 ], but one thing I've notcied is instead of saying 4G up top for the data connection, it says H. Is there any work around for this?
Also, I see people are talking about another ROM that might be better than this. Is this the ROM ViperS 1.1.0 ?
If so, how is it any better?
Thank you
You can flash the sense 4G patch to replace the h.and I have heard by some people that vipers awesome and some have said that they didn't like it.try lighting sense 4. Take care...

Sadly this didn't work. It caused a lot of issues with things being forced closed. I had to reinstall the ROM in order to get the bar back at the top.
Anything else you guys can think of?
Did it say aosp if so you cant use it.thats fir senseless roms.

Why is that WiFi works on some roms (trick droid, official nightly cm10) and not on others (leedroid, viper ones) is there something that needs to be added or taken away from these Roms on wich it doesn't work....I know it has something to do with ota update,I'm just not understanding why it would work on some and not on others....thanx in advance

This question is asked almost everyday. Look at what others have said before posting a well discussed question

Okay so maybe a better question is why does it work on cm10 and not on viper ones.......that is what I'm not understanding and I have been reading but have not found an answer

Ok im wanting to try to flash a rom again. Its been awhile that i've been using stock because i've had to replace my phone like 2 times already and i think it might've been cause of roms. But i want to try flashin a rom again. So i wanted to kno what u guys think is the best rom for good battery and good performance.
If you want to stay with the stock-look, threading sensation rom is a very good compromise between battery and performance. If you want android stock you can try bruce's cm10 or opensensation2

Can u link me to the rom and i just install it with all the defaults in setup?
I'm using a senseless rom called paranoid Android. I get excellent battery life, it's fast, smooth like butter and stable. It also has lots of customisation available. I use it as my daily rom. Do yourself a favor and try out several different roms because if you don't your selling yourself short. There could be something out there that's just perfect for you but you will never know unless you try. Do a nandroid backup and you can restore easily to your previous rom. But you really need not just take opnion. You should see for yourself because what one person likes, might not be for you. So I Highly suggest trying out several before you decide on what your going to use as you're daily rom. Do give paranoid Android a try. It's a great rom with active development! Remember it's all about what suits YOUR needs and you won't know what's available unless you try out different ones. This is solid advice. I do hope you take it. If not your selling yourself short. You really need to experience for yourself what's available. That's the fun part! I wish you the best. Happy flashing.

I am using Albino's CM10.1 Android 4.2.2 ROM, which works great. However, my GPS is not working. I've tried a bunch of apps from Google Play to try and resolve this issue but no luck. Is there a way to directly check the GPS hardware itself to determine if it is broken?
Sent from my HTC Sensation using xda app-developers app
Hi,
Very weird that you have a hardware problem.
You should make a cwm backup and flash a sense ROM like Mike's ARHD o elegancia.
if it works
Sent from my GT-P1000
If you want to check a hardware problem I would suggest you to try some stable rom like Stock,RevolutionHD,ViperS or Revelation to see if your gps works on some of them.Don't forget that CM10.1 versions are steel in testing mode.
Thanks guys. I'll give the alternate ROM approach a try...

Ah crap. Installed ARHD (which I have used before) and the GPS still didn't work. Looks like I may have gotten to end of life for my Sensation, a whole 2 years, by gosh

What's the best stable sense 5 Rom with everything working?
Sent from my HTC One S using xda app-developers app
Your options are limited, but everyone seems to like MaximusHD.
sorry but the MaximusHD is not stable or say it so..too much problems...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2445392 ..for me
Can't confirm that. It's the most stable and fastest Rom I've ever had.
Sent from my HTC One S using xda app-developers app
Agree to that. I never thought that my One S could be as fast as it is today. To those guys who have or have had problems maybe don't follow the instructions very well. I don't have any major issues so far, and i'm currently using this as my daily driver. The only thing i have concerns now is the battery life. It's a little bit faster to drain, but maybe a few more drains and charges it'll be normal again, or maybe because of the stock kernel which doesn't have an option to undervolt.
After the first installation I had a little problem with voice search.
Factory reset and retry the installation - now everything works perfectly.
MaximusHd is great. The only people who have problems are the one that didn't follow instructions.

I was thinking about the MaxumusHD but I read something about a storage issue. Did they fix that?

There is no storage issue. It only exists for people who can't follow simple directions.
