Hi
I was just wondering if anyone has ever used a 4gb SD Micro card (with adapter ofcourse) on their Xda 2 and if so, is it fully compatible?
I was gonna go for the normal 4gb SD card but then that won't be compatible with the newer Xda's should I decide to upgrade since they all take the Sd Micro's..
Cheers,
Riz.
not sure about the 4gb version but i have kingston 2gb micro with a sd adaptor and that works like a charm
Hi
I´m currently using a SanDisk ultra II 4gb and it works ok. I have qtek2020 with wm5
regards
There is a difference between 4GB Sd and 4GB Micro SD Card.
The Micro SD > 2GB is only available as SDHC card, and that is not
(yet) supported by HTC
Our apologies regarding the FAQ, it is currently incorrect and the department who is in charge of the website has been informed.
The FAQ should state that we support up to 4GB with SD cards and 2GB with Mini and Micro-SD. We do not currently support SDHC/2.0 and as such we could not say as to whether these formats would work correctly with your device.
So as to repeat your question on capacity briefly, your HTC P3300 is supported for use with up to a 2GB Micro-SD card.

i bought a 32Gb micro sd card but my blackstone doesnt recognize it, is it a driver-software issue, or hardware incompatibility? Is there any way to make it work?
the micro sd card doesnt have specified the brand or the class on it, only have microSD HC logo.
Hi all,
I have tried two different micro sd cards:
* Samsung microSDHC UHS-I 32GB class 10
* no-name 1GB (just says "made in taiwan")
I get no reaction whatsoever from my tf700 when inserting them in the micro sd slot (yes, the right way around), directory /storage/sdcard1 remains empty. When I connect them via sd adapter in the dock, they work just fine.
Does this mean my micro sd slot is defective, i.e. I need to get the tablet fixed?
thanks,
sharkcow
Does anyone know of an internal (preferably, external can be used) card reader that will fit in to a 3.5" or 5.25" drive bay and supports MicroSD cards without an adapter? I hate using the MicroSD to USB adapters or the SD to MicroSD card adapters because half the time they don't make a good connection and I'd like to cut out the middleman if possible.
I took my sd card out to plug it into my pc with an adaptor so I could do some stuff with it but the pc refuses to read it, just says i need to format it! It's a sandisk extreme 128gb (which I believe comes pre-formatted and ready for use). I have a load of stuff on it which my phone can see perfectly fine, and i can access that stuff if i plug my phone into the pc. I just can't access it directly if I plug the card into an adaptor.
Could this be some sort of encryption done by the phone to the card causing the PC to keep asking me to format it as soon as I plug it in? I have *NOT* done an "encrypt sd card" on it so it can't be that. I dont know why else windows would not be able to read it.
What PC OS version?
exFAT formatted mass storages couldn't be accessed by some older OS's

win10
Windows10 has included support for exFAT.
I suspect your Sandisk micro SDXC 128GB comes pre formatted in exFAT,
My Samsung Micro SDXC PRO+ 128GB was preformatted in exFAT and has its own SD adapter included.
If you're using an adapter that was included with the Sandisk micro SDXC, it's possible that the SD slot of your PC is not compatible with the SDXC specifcations.
In that case I'd try a microSD USB adapter.

I am just using a tiny lexar card reader I must have had with an old lexar card, sd card goes in the little slot and it plugs straight into usb port. worked with my older sandisk 32gb card perfectly. maybe the reader is too old to work with the 128gb card.
