Every time I flash a new rom and then restore apps with data, my Jorte calendar is empty! I can't deal with that. Anyone familiar with this app? What can I do to maintain the calendar data across roms?

I know someone uses this app! Or a similar calendar app?

Do you use any baclup tool like Titanium?
I use Titanium Pro but I have to tell you my experience with it hasn't been the best. Whenever I restore apps my Jorte is empty. Maybe I'm not doing it right.

With Calendar apps you have to resync it with every rom flash
What do you mean resync it?

I take it you dont sync your calendar with google calendar? No app will be able tp restore entries into another app. This is a security thing in android

Yeah what he said about resyncing is correct, go under your account and resync in settings. If it doesn't work, we don't know what to tell you.

the normal Facebook app doesn't do this for you?
Check its options.
Sync my pics from the market will atleast allow you to grab the pics of the contacts you already have.

I've been trying to solve this problem as well. If you're just trying to get pics you can use syncmypix from the market. If you want numbers the only solution I've found is to use cm7 if you want gb and Facebook sync.

Ya I want my fb contacts to be in my actual contact list. I suppose I will wait for a better cm7 to come.out. thanks guys

So I have my Facebook linked to my contacts and the profile pics and information is synced up nicely. But when text messaging people, who I'm friends with, their picture isn't in the messaging app like it is in the phonebook. How can I get the pictures to carry over?

They don't show up for me either. I've tried everything.

I want to flash a new ROM, but I've been on the previous one for a while and don't want to lose all of my text messages, is there any way I can move my messages from one ROM to the other?

All the above method should work just fine. I personally prefer using this free app from the play store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.idea.backup.smscontacts
Contacts, text and call history backup. However, after backup/restore I prefer to freezing it, due to some scheduled(once a week or so) warning notification.

For the Guy who use to back me up on people that asked stupid questions, that was a poor question haha. ;-).... but ya multiple apps are capable of this task

I believe titanium does it but it does it as a system app, so people don't usually do system back ups. It may cause problems but I have never experienced anything. The first app I mentioned is the quickest that I've tried

That can apply a picture for all contact photos besides a few because I'm really tired seeing blank photos there.

Those are built into the phone.
1. Go to contact
2. Select contact
3. Edit contact
4. Click on picture and select your own.

I think the OP means is there a app that applies one pic as the default pic for all contacts similar to the way there's a default android character for all contact pics you haven't edited

As the title states...every time I am getting a call the contact picture that is displayed is very blurry. In the messaging app the pics look clean and cut! Any way to fix this? Sense never had this problem for me. CM10 and on do.
Thanks in advance.

Yep that's the one. Be sure to also install the JB workaround app as well. They work in tandem.
