I am on a project and its for GB. But it has quite a ugly 'recent apps' screen and also no wipe option or swipe away apps. I REALLY wanna change it to sth like this:

info: its a Miui ROM based on CM7. It also has a miui framework res folder.

any idea where the settings are to edit this screen?
Struggling a bit pulling hair.
Its missing the android green/orange logo & and the font is screwed up. The files are in the framework-res.apk I just dont see why its not loading.
I know the basic for edting framewor-res.apk, but I would like to remove the 3 dots for ICS optimised apps since I already have hardware menu button for the job.

That depends on what ROM you are using. As you know stock is ROM very limited. To have something like that either go with one of CM11 roms or PA ROM which has themes support.
As you guys can see my applications option is missing from settings. I'm running Stock Optimized Rom v3 and I tried replacing the Secsettings2 and Secsettingsprovide2 apk files from System > priv-app but doesn't help.
