Hi folks,
I have been using my HTC desire s for the past 1 Year and em feeling a lot intimate with it. recently my screen got cracked and so I plan on getting a new mobile, after a big walk around the forums I found HTC sensation and Galaxy s2 are the ones having a good feedback and also fits my budget. Now em in a duo of which one to select I like htc sense ui a lot but Samsung is well known for its source code release stuff (I'm a flashalcholic). Please suggest me a good mobile my budget is 400 to 450 usd (max 25000 INR)

I'm a lil baised but the EVO 3D or the 4G LTE seem really good but I've also heard the Samsung Galaxy S2 or S3 are both great devices and all of those are in your price range.
Ive had the htc sensation and the galaxy s3 not the s2 but me personally i would go with the samsung galaxy s2 seems to be alot of development for both phones but the s2 being more popular would have more devolopment with newer roms in the future i would think. Plus the screen on the galaxy is s2 is better then the sensation in my opinion

Sensation and S2 are both old phones. Or a Galaxy Nexus, much cheaper choice.

Till now I haven't checked with Evo.. Will make some research thanks a lot dude... S3 is no way near my bill

Yes just for dev community I have prioritized s2 but build quality of it is not that much to the par

Why not galaxy nexus? It's in your budget, actually cheaper. And probably better than HTC sensation or Samsung galaxy s 3

I just compared Galaxy s2 and s3 and I can say that the new Galaxy s3 very sensitive sensors. Highly recommended!

Galaxy Nexus. You will have much better and prolonged support with it.
S3 as it is one of the best devices at the moment with very strong spcs. However galaxy nexus is also a very strong device. It like i9100. ( little weaker) but as it from google sources, it 'll get every new software update. Don't forget that nexus s has jellybean 4.1 and galaxy s (i9000,9001,9003,9030) gingerbread 2.3.6!!!!!!!

I like Nexus a lot but I feel it's screen size is tooo big

HTC Sensation! Lovely qHD display, great dual core - I'm running MIUI ICS and this thing is so much nicer than with stock gingerbread! Along with its aluminium unibody, anything plastic feels like crap :L

If I had one, I would so trade you.
I would take an evo 4g with a dual core processor, a camera button, and more metal on the body than just the kickstand. When one ofthise comes along, the meaning of life will be explained.

i have the Samsung galaxy 2 and there noo great roms i am using beast mod 4..2 i like beast mod but i am looking for a back up phone that is well dev'ed so i can have a stable more problem free phone i would like to get a droid 2 global or a my side kick 4g

if you really like to taste a lot of roms and have the latest builds i think ill choose somethink like nexus s or galaxy nexus, they are google phones, so they will get the latest updates.

I don't know that quantity is better then quality. ROMS for thunderbolt seem as solid as the phone itself.

i think besides the HTC One X, Huawei Ascend D Quad Family and Meizui MX Quad core is optionable......jut be patient for a while.
I prefer Samsung, so I would go for a SII
This totally depends on what you want to do with it. If you just want to use it go for the HTC One X as it is faster and smarter than the Galaxy Nexus. But if you want to start developing keep in mind that the Galaxy Nexus is an official development device and you can get the drivers and hafe full AOSP support for it.
Buy the one s instead. If not, buy a nexus.

I'm currently using Samsung Galaxy Mini GTS5570
I flash lots of custom roms to my device, even with the custom roms on, it still lags me out.
So I decided to make a move and change my device hoping it would not be as bad as this one.
Any suggestions what budget android phone with a not-so-bad processor or should I say speed??

I find Galaxy S+ a budget Android phone with not bad speed and some serious customization capabilities. If you have more funds I'd go for SII as it has dual core processor and full cyanogenmod released.
Samsung galaxy s blaze 4g, if your on T-Mobile. I was looking for a budget phone, and this is what I got, doesn't feel like a budget phone though lol. Well its upper mid range phone
